Hedrox hissed irritably and used Velkor's distraction to it's advantage, lunging forward and slashing across the Demon's chest, leaving 4 deep gashes in the Demon's chest as it rammed Velkor, knocking him back...

Carter raised his MP5, firing bursts into the creatures bat like wings. He shouted out over his gunfire at Drake. "Well ****, your a Vampire... Can't you guys do **** like that?!"

"Not all vampires can do that. and even i can only do it to a limited extent...i'd need him soaked in gas for me to be able to do it well enough to really wreck him" said Drake. Hedrox stopped it's attack and turned to look at Carter, hissing "You FOOL....do you not understand? Your human weapons are WORTHLESS-Worthless-". and with that, Hedrox leapt at them, it's blade like claws aimed for Carter's neck with the intent of beheading him...

Clutching his chest, Velkor hissed, "Maybe I can get something that'll at least get him off our backs then!" Considering he had almost never used the power of fire like many Demons, Velkor had to back away from Hedrox while Carter distracted him, and focused. To his surprise, a fireball appeared in his outstretched hand. Staring at it for a moment, he swiftly regained his composure and threw it like a baseball, aimed directly at Hedrox.

The thick anti-bullet armor of the assassins provided great protection for the moment. Their main objective wasnt to take out the demons but to get those captured assassins out of the way. With advanced senors in their helmets, the assassins clearly saw their targets as a bursts of bullets rained on their location. In one of the SUV's an assassin came out of the open hatch, as he grabbed the chaingun from the back and aimed at the demon's location. With seconds...the chain gun unleashed hell as the assassins that were getting rescued were getting thrown into the other SUV's so they can get the hell out.

Carter moved backwards, lowering his MP5. The fireball sped towards him speedily. He would not be able to move back in time. He tried to step backwards purely out of instinct as the thing flew at him.

The fireball had nearly reached him when a file cabinet flew out of nowhere, hitting the side of it. The fire vanished against the side of the cabinet as it flew onward, slamming into the wall. From where the cabinet flew from a large figure ran, out of the darkness of the shadows.

It ran on all fours, slamming into the side of Hedrox from where he moved. Horns hit it's side, a force that would have thrown the bat like creature a good distance...

Velkor stared at the figure, about to hiss something, before Wisp squealed, "Gunther! You can be my pet now!"

Hedrox hit the ground on it's feet, skidding to a hault as it's jagged teeth seemed to chatter in an irritated snarl, the Vampiric beast launching itself forward with unnatural fury and slamming head on into the Demon, ripping large gashes in Gunther's skin with it's razor sharp claws cleaved through flesh swiftly and smoothly, Hedrox soaking it's claws in Gunther's blood...it planned to take the Demon apart...

The large, gray skinned, hulking beast grabbed the bat thing with it's massive hands by the wings, tearing outward. It spread it's legs, holding Hedrox in front of him. It start to pull in opposite directions, ignoring the cuts...

Bullets ripping through its body, one demon stood its ground, being pummeled by the bullets, but none the less took aim...a bullet slammed into one of the SUV's tires, the sudden release of pressure once again ripping an even larger hole into the tire. The demon, legs starting the buckle, lifted a hand before throwing a fireball weakly at another SUV, the projectile slamming into its side before exploding...

Meanwhile, a string of fire moved along the ground like a serpent...the fire slowly spreading across the street, slowly making a large circle of flames around the battle...

Desh stopped as something new caught his attention. Faint footsteps fast-paced if he wasnt mistaken. He looked left and right and ducked behind the wall of an alley corner and waiting a moment before peeking out. As far as he could see there was nothing... nothing in sight. He relaxed returning to his upright stance from leaning over as he sighed stressfully. His eyes drifted up and over to look at the crow, and for a moment simply stared. If you give me away i will kill you, he said to it fully realizing how much of a fool he had to be making of himself but not realizing the birds true intelligence. He stayed silent for a moment then peered around the corner again... still nothing...

Hedrox struggled, trying to free himself, stabbing at the beast's arms, though an insane hissing, inhaling cackle could be heard from him...

Drake stared at the Demon that was fighting Hedrox. "No! don't-!" he called out...

"What, what's going to happen!?" Nyx asked taking out her switch blade. Diana growled in half-human form and leapt at Hedrox, narrowly avoiding the Demon. Her fangs dripped saliva and she bit down on Hedrox' throat.

The crow only made a sound between a laugh and a croak and fluttered its wings. This boy is quite amusing, Vincent thought. Nik shook his dove feathers and fluttered to the ground this time turning into a white cat and bounded ahead of Desh.

"GO! GO! GO!" One of the assassins on the motorcycles commanded. The SUV's accelerated. They were heavily armored and fire resistant for the most part and would last for just a few moments. The chaingun weapons continued to rain hell on the demons positions as smoke gernades went off to try and cover the assassin's retreat...

A few more demons were struck by the barrage of attacks, trying to stop the assassins' retreat, out of fear...but not for their enemies. They feared what their master would do to them if they failed until he arrived...and sure enough, Dalvengyr appeared out of one of the alleyways, where the fire wall had originated. The elder demon looked around the street as the assassins sped away...two massive bat-like wings emerged from the demon's back, flexing for a few moments before Dalvengyr took to the air, following behind the fleeing enemies, passing over the smoke from overhead, keeping an eye on his targets...the grounded demons soon followed, being vastly outpaced by their master, as well as their enemies...

Mephisto stopped suddenly, his blood red eyes looking around the area...just as a shadowy creature seemed to pop into existence in front of the towering demon. "What is it?" Mephisto's hellish voice sounded, seeming to echo in the open air unnaturally. "Dalvengyr's demons have sent the enemy fleeing...they are not vampires...they are something...different. He believes they are heading back to their headquarters..." the Wraith reported, its ghostly form wavering, though there was no wind. "Excellent..." the towering demon growled, the wraith disappearing immediately after. Mephisto lumbered on, followed by his guards...they would put a permanent end to these new fools, before they were able to organize...they didn't need a second force opposing their inevitable expansion...

"Jaden! your one crazy son of a *****!" Jaden smirked, hearing the message from Jacob who was rescued in one of the SUV's.
"Raise the defenses and makes sure the S.O.A gets here as soon as possible. Were in deep **** a the moment...if we separate, we'll get surrounded and killed. If we lead them back to base, we get screwed right at home base but of course...thats our best bet. My father's already preparing defenses...we'll be ready" Jaden replied.
"Well you better get those fire-hoses and the entire Fire Fighter department because its gonna be hot!" Jacob said one last message as he got off. Jaden narrowed his eyes as he accelerated on the motorcycle along with the others...leaving the SUV's back towards the best chance...

Onyx was knocked out of the SUV by a fireball that caused it to go spinning from one of the demons. Transforming into his wolf form, the pitch black canine sprinted alongside the SUV with Jacob in it, hoping he would think to open the door for him...

Dalvengyr flew overhead, rapidly closing in on the fleeing SUVs. A fireball slammed into the top of one vehicle, denting and scorching its roof. The elder demon swerved in the air to avoid any counter attacks, momentarily disappearing behind a number of buildings...

The beast, hidden in darkness, groaned out in pain. Blood shot out of him, only provoking him to pull more. The cackling started to scare him, and he suddenly decided he should kill the thing as quickly as possible.

He tore down as hard as he could, getting a satisfaction as he felt a rip in the bat things wing tear down...
