"You should be the one afraid of the big, bad wolf!" The Nightmare, now in the form of a wolf twice the size of Diana, with fierce, glowing red eyes, barreled out of the fog, biting down on Diana's shoulder, shaking her like a rag doll, and throwing her away.

Draco then gritted as he then flipped himself backwards, falling out of the building through the massive hole. But at the same time, several mini shuriken flew out and slammed into the cieling above the demon. Sounds of beeping were heard as they then exploded...the cieling above the demon now collapsing down towards him.

The floor around the impaled blade cracked and broke apart, sending the elder demon down one more level, wings propelling him forward as he fell, throwing him out of the way of the debris on the floor below. Still flying forward, Dalvengyr crashed through the nearest window, hovering at the side of the building, looking down at the falling assassin...

Draco grabbed his main Long Sword as he ran down the building slowing his descent. The Dhampir continued to fall until the assassin finally was close to the ground, the Dhampir kicked off the nearby wall and landed after a flip in mid air. "****...he never quits..." Draco simply thought. It was real pointless to try and keep fighting. He had to end it...if he was going down, he wasnt going down alone...

Diana growled and ran full tilt at the Nightmare. She leapt up and landed squarely on it's back and bit into it's shoulder.

Dalvengyr spread his wings, gliding over to a nearby building, landing in a crouch as he looked down at the assassin on the ground. The elder demon watched wordlessly...waiting for the hybrid to make a move...

The force of the smoke that erupted from the Nightmare's fresh wound made Diana topple off its back, only to have her neck ground slowly against the ground by the Demon's paw. The Nightmare glared at Diana, pushing harder against her throat.

Draco took a step backward, waiting for the demon's reaction. The Dhampir looked to the side...he remembered this part of New York. Water was nearby...maybe that was his only chance. Would the demon be willing to pursue his target into the depths of New York Wate?...it was a question the Dhampir needed to find out. He couldnt kill the demon and as much as he hated it, he had to fall back...

On top of the building, the elder demon was no where to be found. In the distance, the dark shape could be seen flying toward the heart of the demon-controlled region of the city...the lesser demons and their remaining large brethren were also missing, traveling through the shadows toward their home...

Diana growled. Her claws scrabbled against the Nightmare's belly, ripping it open slightly.

The Nightmare growled and stepped away, letting the choking smoke do its work, slashing Diana across the face with a paw.

Draco looked around...things were quiet. Did the demon flee? it didn matter...the Dhampir suddenly began to sprint as fast as he could away from the battle. He moved with such speed, easily beyond the fastest humans. Just as the Dhampir entered a street...a black car flew near right past him but skidded to a halt. Draco then narrowed his eyes as a human stepped out.
"Hey yo hurry up!" The assassin yelled.
"What the-" Draco didnt finish.
"Let's just go!" The assassin shouted. Having no choice...both assassins quickly entered the car and began to speed off. The car accelerated...heading towards headquarters...

Desh soon fell asleep from exhaustion, after all he hadnt had a decent rest since the return from South America. He put his head against the window and Korso fidgeted nervously as he rocked the large crucific with his foot.

Diana got up slowly and shook her head. "Is that all you got?" she asked. She leapt at the Nightmare again and bit its muzzle and her claws scraped against its chest leaving deep gouges in its flesh...

Vincent looked back then pressed on the excellerator, to speed up their progress. I just hope she takes kindly to our arrival, he thought.

The Nightmare snapped and clawed back viciously, its larger size and greater strength smashing Diana away, leaving trails of blue smoke in its wake. "Would you like to see what I truly have to offer?"

"We're going to find out what's going on, that's where" said Spencer as he rushed towards the beach where he had heard the scream. from it's pitch it was either Diana or Nyx, and from what he knew, Nyx was asleep in the house...

Unbeknownst to any of the four in the car, shadowed figures followed close behind. Only a few but the strength of the essence they could sense told them it had to be their prey. They followed keeping a lagging pace as they began to slowly fall behind the car. When they lost sight they would begin tracking it down to locate it, seize their target and likely try to kill anyone who got in the way.

Carter and Gunther followed behind Spencer, hearing the scream. The huge, horned Goat lumbered in the darkness. Carter spoke up, "Hey, Spence! What the hell's going on?!"

Diana growled and started circling. "I don't care what you have to offer, if it puts my friends in danger forget it," she snarled. Thanatos gripped Diana tightly to his chest, hoping, praying that she would be strong enough to fight it.
