Mechagodzilla raised his shield again, shrugging off weapons fire. While the human threat was temporarily neutralized, the mech focused on Barugaron, swinging his electrified limbs at the beast, who had recovered enough to dodge the clumsy attacks and back out of melee range. Annoyed, Mechagodzilla had no choice but to lower his shield, at the same time, activating the chest-mounted smart laser. Eight red beams sliced through the air, charring Barugaron's armor and even knocking a couple unlucky jets out of the sky...

Twin sub-zero beams slammed into the mecha's head, slowly freezing over the side of its head, the freezing energy consuming one eye and half its mouth. The Super X5 forced its attack even further, slowly beginning to freeze the mecha's head solid. The jets once again did their best to dodge the attacks, attacking with their own masers, while the Overlord shot yet another shell into the mech's knee, causing one leg to buckle...

Mechagodzila fell to one knee, but released missiles from his back, which slammed into the ground around the Overlord and exploded, and raised one arm, firing a cluster of four missiles at the Super X5. Those missiles exploded before actually hitting the aircraft, but the explosion was powerful enough to knock the craft's aim off. Standing up again, Mechagodzilla was greeted by a tackle from Barugaron, and the two collapsed in a heap, pounding each other viciously.

The Overlord, battered and charred, did not stop its assault, firing yet another shell into the mech's side as it grappled with the monster. The Super X5 stopped the beam immediately after losing its focus, regaining control before firing rapid bursts of its hyper masers, which exploded against both the mech and the monster...

Mechagodzilla immediately reactivated its shield, the electrifying shock forcing Barugaron to roll off and back away. Taking the initiative, Mechagodzilla stood, shield dissipating, and fired his eye beams, knocking Barugaron to the ground. Keeping the beam steady, the mech turned the beam on the Overlord tank, planning to turn it into nothing but a pile of molten slag...

Once again the twin beams of sub-zero energy slammed into the mech's head, freezing the side of its head in an instant, preventing it from turning completely toward the Overlord tank, which drove away as fast as it could. The Super X5 continued the attack nonstop, the jets diving in to take advantage of the situation, missiles slamming into the mech from seemingly all directions...

Mechagodzilla's smart laser fired again, each beam tracking and outracing a jet and destroying it in a single shot. Smashing his arm against the side of his head, Mechagodzilla broke the ice trapping it, firing another volley of missiles at the retreating Overlord, before turning to the Super X5 and firing his mouth beam again...

Fire mirror activating, the Super X5 returned the beam at full force, the reversed energy slamming into the mecha's head. The Overlord disappeared behind a hill, barely dodging the onslaught of missiles, trying to find an alternate route to get back to the battle.

Suddenly, overhead, various streamline objects roared past, barely seen by even the GDF units, the F-35 Lightning jets circling around, spread out over a fairly large distance, a storm of missiles, almost blotting out the sky in the process, slamming into the enemy mech, almost completely shrouding the machine in smoke from the blasts. Around the nearby hills, XM1202 Mounted Combat Systems drove up in a large amount, almost surrounding the city as a whole. The almost sniper like precision of the shells slammed into both the monster and the mech, providing an almost nonstop barrage of shells...

A screech of jet engines that was the calling card of the now famous G1 assault mech sounded in the air, but instead of the 90 meter jet, G2 Vuplin sliced through the air, banking to the right, cutting across the area in a diagonal over the jets below, turning slightly to point at Mecha Godzilla the front barrels on G2's cock pit firing a constant purple laser beam that had maser like properties, on contact, many small explosions broke out on the mecha's surface..

Mechagodzilla had raised its shield just before the redirected beam hit him, annoyed that the Fire Mirror was able to deflect such a powerful attack. He looked around the attacking forces, deciding to leave for now. Activating his jets and deactivating his shield, Mechagodzilla took off. It seems the humans had come up with new weapons in recent years...

Barugaron, meanwhile, sprinted away, howling his rage at being denied his right to purge the humans from this coastline. The monster headed back for the ocean, dodging as many shots as he could.

Super X5 rapidly fired 6 missiles after the retreating mech, the missiles trailing behind at amazing speeds. The tanks redirected their fire toward the monster, shells slamming into its back, legs, and neck, attempt to kill it before it could flee.

"We got a runner" G2's pilot radio'ed to Super X5. The new mecha zipped through the air after Barugon, a panel below the cock pit loosening with a hiss of air, then moving downwards, revealing a retangular opening. A large barrel that was wide at the base and thin at the tip flipped down, locking in place with a clank. A bluish flash of light eminated from the barrel, an Absolute Zero blast, not as powerful as a full mecha AZ cannon, slammed into Barugon, lowering it's core temperature and slowing it down again so that the other units can attack

Several missiles erupted from Mechagodzilla's back, intercepting the ones trailing the mech, creating a small cluster of explosions and allowing Mechagodzilla to escape unharmed.

Barugaron leaped in the air, rolled to the sides, and altogether moved erratically, trying to keep himself at a high body temperature from the intense and tiring movements, as well as dodge as much enemy fire as possible. His armor shrugged off most of what hit him, and he was swiftly making his way back into the ocean...

Suddenly, from beside the monster, the Overlord drove out at its highest speed, colliding with the monster's leg, firing its main cannon at the same time at point blank, the shot igniting its ammo reserves, causing the damaged vehicle to explode violently, blowing the monster off its feet, its leg charred, while the armor on the limb was broken and smashed in various places. The tanks on the surrounding ridges took advantage of this, hammering the monster with shells, while the Lightning jets dove down, unleashing their own storm of missiles at the fallen beast...

G2 also fired it's missile cargo from the metal flaps on it's back that rose, the missiles firing out on both sides of the aircraft and then arcing back to barugon, aswell as those, G2 fired it's lasers and masers, they barraging the monster relentlessly

Barugaron crouched on all fours, skittering away on all limbs, tail thrashing above him to knock various missiles off-course. He finally managed to slink into the ocean, wounded but not dead, leaving the water hissing in his wake as it reacted to the large amounts of acid dripping off the angered monster's body.

OOC: What. The. F*ck? Smacking missiles off coarse?! They'd EXPLODE AND BLOW MONSTER CHUNKS OUT OF HIS TAIL. Also, after being a ballerina, AND being hit by the AZC, Barugon wouldve been a lizard before basking, slow and sluggish. No. F*cking. Way is he running on his toes and into the water like he's a Basilisk lizard.

G2 zoomed over head on the monster, keeping it's pace easilly, missiles and laser fire raining down on it. When it went into the water, The support mech fired it's AZC into the water. Though it wasntstrong enough to freeze a monster solid, it was more than powerful to freeze water solid and, since the water was bubbling, Barugon would've been undoubtedly caught in the blast and frozen in a block of ice, not dead, but his metabolsim stunted, almost as if he was in forced cryogenic preservation...

OOC: Ya seriously DM, the concept of missiles is to explode on contact, they wouldn't be knocked off course. And for christ's sake, yes, the jumping around would've made him MORE tired, coupled with the absolute zero weaponry, it would be amazing if he could MOVE.

The Super X5 hovered over to the frozen water, firing its own sub-zero masers around the edges of the frozen spot, increasing the range and density of G2's attack, making it impossible for the monster, at least for now, to break free...

A faint heat signiture was given off from the ice block floating at the surface in the shape of Barugon. The operation was sucessful. The pilot of the new mecha radio'ed the European base, seeing as it was the major control base aside from the one in North America; "Mecha Godzilla repelled and Barugon captured, guys we have one hell of a support mech at our disposal!"

G2 Vulpin flew in synconise with Super X5 for the moment, waiting for the transport crew to arrive

"Roger that G2. Stay there and oversee operations with the transport, they should be arriving shortly. Super X5, report to the northern outpost for repairs and diagnostics." The European Dispatcher radio'd to the two support units, the Super X5 going back into its "jet mode", roaring off toward the nearest outpost, passing the large jets heading toward the scene, which could hover just like the Super X5, there to transport the monsters back for study...
