Seeing the wake and steam, Lord Ghidorah watched the water curiously, knowing something big was coming towards him. He stood and waited for the monster to arrive, static crackling around his wings and fangs...

Bane hit the shore and walked up, the sand around his feet melting from the immense heat of the energy being radiated from his form. Bane looked around, beginning to investigate, weapons at the ready...

Lord Ghidorah watched Bane curiously, remembering him from when he had attacked and destroyed Monster Island. "Ah, I remember you," he hissed. "The one who ran, with your little friend. Enlighten me: why did you abandon your apparent allies to their fate?"

"I'd say it is a fitting end to them....they abandoned me to that very fate long ago...and only in my return sought my forgiveness...my mercy. why give them that, when they failed to support me in my time of need?" snarled Bane as he locked his eyes on the Ghidorah, pupils narrowing to slits as the atomic energy within him began reaching critical levels, the grooves in his dorsal plates immiting golden coloured energy...

"You do have a point, my big scaly friend," replied Lord Ghidorah. "Maybe you could help me destroy them? They've already escaped my grasp twice, and I would prefer not having them do it again..." He flexed his wings, electricity visibly crackling around the spiked tips. They also seemed to glow slightly brighter, as the dragon began absorbing solar power to rejuvenate himself.

Bane grunted in amusement. "I'm afraid your request will have to be declined, Ghidorah" he snarled as an outward plume of energy turned the ground beneath Bane to glass, the field spreading outward rapidly. "You see, i may not care if they die, but your goals and mine, don't coincide. while i merely want them to suffer for their treachory, you want to destroy the place i call home. and that....i will not allow"...

Lord Ghidorah frowned. "Very well. But don't think you can beat me. Not even the true guardians of this planet could stop me. I will erase this planet like a tiny speck of dust, and nothing, not even you, can halt the inevitable!" He began generating an Energy Sphere, but released after only a few moments, not wanting to give too much time for Bane to react. The Energy Sphere exploded in Bane's face with enough force to knock the beast over...

Bane rolled onto his feet, chuckling. "You're as delirious as the rest of your kind. i hope you've enjoyed your life as a planet killer, Ghidorah....because today....you meet your end" snarled the beast as whisps of whitish energy swirled within his jaws, gold mixed into the glow as Bane unleashed a blast into the Ghidorah's face, knocking the head back and lunging forward, ramming it off it's feet...

Lord Ghidorah blasted Bane with his Gravity Beams as he fell, and with some effort, managed to lift him and throw him to the side. The space dragon got to his feet, snarling, "You think your pitiful radiation will harm me? I think not! You're days as a planet guardian are over, lizard!" He bombarded the fallen Bane with wing lightning viciously, eyes glowing malevolently...

a rattling snarl rumbled through bane as a globe of golden energy suddenly spread around Bane's entire form, before pulling inwards everything that surrounded him, rocks, trees, and even water being pulled in and condensed, Lord Ghidorah pressed in their midst as the immense pressure of the pull pressed against the beast, a globe of dark purple energy swirling around Bane's form, lilac coloured bolts zapping the area around him as a flare of gold tore outwards, the Atomic Pulse blew Lord Ghidorah off, a massive explosion blowing the debris outwards with lethal speed, a massive crater now surrounding the angered beast. Bane's fiery eyes stared at Lord Ghidorah in rage. that blast would be enough to kill or severely wound some smaller Kaiju. it was one of his more powerful attacks. "MY days are over? i think, most definately NOT" he boomed...

Lord Ghidorah slid to a stop, tearing a trench in the ravaged earth. He got slowly to his fee, glaring at Bane. The monster was a bit more powerful than he expected. The dragon took off, hovering above Bane, before diving down at the monster, slamming his feet in his foe's head, slashing his talons across Bane's face and knocking him down again. Using his Gravity Beams, Lord Ghidorah lifted the monster forcibly dragging him across the ground before letting go, using the inertia of the throw to make Bane roll and slide across the ground...

Bane swung a leg to the side and twisted himself, rolling himself into such a position that he rolled backwards along his dorsal plates and onto his feet. he snarled. this would be an irritating battle. Bane leapt to the side as another plume of energy spilled from his jaws, before unleashing another beam into Lord Ghidorah's face, merely to stun him, before swinging his massive tail sideways into the monster, the blow knocking the Ghidorah off it's feet...

Lord Ghidorah took off before he hit the ground, spinning around in midair to fire his Gravity Beams again, this time over and over again, slicing through the tortured ground and across Bane's armored skin. It wouldn't take too long to expose his more vulnerable flesh, especially with little to no over remaining on the island...

Bane snarled with irritation, a plume of black energy suddenly making it's way outwards from his dorsal plates, smokey whisps of black enegy spilling from his jaws as he unleashed his Hell Fire beam onto the Ghidorah, the sheer force of it plugging into the Ghidorah's armour and destroying whatever it touched, flames spreading outwards from the blast as the Ghidorah was blown back several hundred meters, the creature slamming against the ground and tumbling, a long line of damaged ground marking the impact area of the Ghidorah, a long skid mark leading to where the Ghidorah was left...

Lord Ghidorah staggered to his feet. "Enough games!" he hissed. His wings glowed ever brighter, and electricity burst from the spikes, latching onto Bane and pulling him closer to the dragon, golden energy forming between his wings as he attempted his Vortex Beam again. It might not kill Bane, but it would severely wound him...

Bane snarled, another Atomic Pulse blowing the Ghidorah away in a smoking ball of claws, scales and wings, and freeing the Zilla-beast. "You think too highly of yourself, Ghidorah" snarled Bane as another golden white beam swirled within his mouth...

Managing to land on his feet this time, Lord Ghidorah hissed, "Do I now?" before Bane had a chance to fire his beam, another Energy Sphere collided with his face, bowling him over, end over end. Lord Ghidorah walked up to the fallen monster, hissing, "I do believe you're thinking of yourself!" Leaning down, Lord Ghidorah wrapped his central neck around Bane's neck, lifting him up with the other two heads, which latched down on the monster's shoulders with their fangs, sending debilitating electrical shocks throughout Bane's body, while the central head slowly constricted, strangling the Zilla...

Bane's tail swung over the Ghidorah's shoulder, the razor sharp axe-like edge of it jamming into the body, actually penetrating a shallow point in the armour, the Zilla pulling the Ghidorah back enough to be able to pull his legs between him and the Ghidorah, the razor sharp talons leaving jagged marks in the Ghidorah's armour before lodging decently between them, the Zilla letting off a small nuclear pulse, limited to the head area to blow loose the Ghidorah's jaw, before kicking it off sharply, the creature being blown off and jammed into the peak near the center of the island. Bane then proceeded to attack, leaping at the Ghidorah himself, locking his clawed hands around the throats of the two outer heads, just at the base of the skull to avoid it being able to bite. he jammed the claws of his hands into the rock of the mountain, pinning the necks in place and giving him stability, as his jaws shut around the central neck near the base of the skull, the razor sharp, immensely powerful teeth and jaws quickly putting strain on the Ghidorah's neck, as atomic energy levels jumped dangerously, to the point the energy released surpassed that of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor tenfold, energy swirling within Bane's jaws as his burning, white and orange eyes stared at the pinned Ghidorah, his feet ripping several jagged gashes in the space dragon's armour as he prepared to finish it...

Surprisingly, Lord Ghidorah's central head grinned, almost insanely, as the energy, still gathered in its wings, was suddenly unleashed violently in a bright yellow flash. The Vortex Blast wasn't as powerful as the one he had used 65 million year prior, to destroy Gigamoth, but it did successfully launch Bane through the air far enough to make the Zilla fall into the ocean at nearest end of the island. Lord Ghidorah, however, was greatly weakened by the attack, sluggishly taking to the skies. Bane may not have been dead, and may have even had his armor breached by the attack, but Lord Ghidorah couldn't keep up this fight, especially after his duel with Godzilla and his allies. He headed back to where he had ordered his alien allies to gather, howling in rage...

Over Barugaron's head, Varan vaulted over the trees, gliding behind the monster before immediately landing on the ground. Swinging around violently, Varan's tail connected with the acidic monster's side, pushing him into the decaying trees, which seemed to fall almost at once, landing on and around the monster. Varan hopped back, now once again on all fours, staring at his fallen enemy...
