While James was inside the Captain's quarters, Adeline was outside on the deck with her puppy, observing the other ship curiously. She thought she recognized the ship and tried to remember who was the captain of it. Suddenly, she heard a "ahoy" and recognized the voice almost immediately. Captain Storm, she thought. But why is she here? She smiled and shouted back, "Good Day, Captain Storm!"

Storm smiled. "A good day indeed," she said. "Your beloved Sparrow isn't an easy man to follow."

Adeline smiled and chuckled a little. "No, not when he has the fastest ship in the Caribbean." She took a quick glance to the Captain's quarters, wondering when James was going to come out before continuing to chat with Miss Storm. "So Captain, what brings you here?"

"To ask a favor from Sparrow actually," Storm said. She noted Adeline's glance toward the captains quaters. "Will he be greeting me anytime soon?"

Adeline shrugged and sighed. "I believe so, he should be right out of his quarters to see you." The puppy at Adeline's feet started to bark and whimper. Adeline rolled her eyes, smiled, and picked Baron up. She started to stroke his soft fur coat.

James climbed up the ladder in the middle of the quarterdeck, seeming to Storm to be appearing out of the ground. "What's this about favours?" he asked as he leaned against the decorative stern ornaments, his head visible in the curve of one of the Dragons that decorated the stern. above, Rainbow was perched in the Crow's Nest, staring down at Storm while nibbling on a banana...

Storm looked at James and immediately turned to stone. "I came to ask for that compass of your's," she said. She signaled to a few men who set up a gang plank to the Reaper, so that Storm could walk on.

James looked at Storm's crew in confusion. there was no way they could get a gangplank to his ship at this angle. nowhere to put it. ignoring it, he said "Compass? what compass?". there was a confused look on his face, though everyone who knew him knew it was a ploy...

Adeline took a glance at James, then a glance at Storm. Why would she need the compass? She thought it was a good call for James' ploy, but was very curious about Storm's actions.

"Don't play dumb," Storm said. "Everyone knows the Sparrows have special compasses that point to the thing they want the most."

"I don't remember being born with a compass in my hand. i don't think my mother does either. but then, she doesn't remember anything anymore" said James. "My father had a compass. but, question is, what do you want with a compass?" he asked...

"That is strictly my own business," Storm said stepping on deck. "And I know you have one, I've heard it from a very reliable source."

Adeline raised an eyebrow in suspicion. "Who is your reliable source and how do you know he or she is reliable?"

Storm rolled her eyes. "I know because I've known him for years," she said. "And he's never been wrong once."

"How's it your business if it involves my compass?" asked James, leaning against one of the two black dragons that arched over the stern, both of them holding up a black pearl between them...

Storm glared. "If you want to know it'll have to be in private," she growled softly. Cosimo watched and ground his teeth together. "Cosimo, toss me the shell," Storm commanded. He did so and Storm turned back to James.

Adeline set Baron down on the deck and went up to join James. She looked once more at Storm again and wondered why it would have to be in private, why can't she discuss her need for the compass out here? "James, are you going to go ahead with this...meeting?" She had uncertainty in her eyes. What if this is all part of some plan of hers? What if he gets hurt...wait, he's James Sparrow...he can find a way out right?

"If i hear it, so do my First Mate, Bosun, and Adeline" said James. Raphael and Nathan, the bosun and first mate respectively, walked up at James and Adeline's sides. the time for jokes had passed. now James was serious. "They have the right to tell me what they want my compass for. We'll see what happens then" he said quietly, so only Adeline could hear...

Adeline was silent, but liked James request. She wondered what Captain Storm would say to it though. She hoped that Storm would accept his request, rather order. You know what you're doing James, she thought and sighed, waiting to see what Miss Storm would say. She nodded to James' words, but said nothing in reply. Her eyes were focused on Storm.

"Very well," Storm growled. "But my First Mate comes as well." She signaled to Cosimo who threw up a rope to the stern climbed up easily. "Hello," he said.
