Taban said, "I would like to suggest we should get moving toward any barricade or outpost in the proximity." If those things were still chasing him, they were sitting ducks. They had to get out of there, into the safety of a barricade...

Charles charged toward the door, firing a few shots at the zombie as Alec headed toward the station, giving him covering fire while he ran...

The Leaper roared as he felt one of his eyes fly out of his socket.Even then,he still had 1 eye and his incredible smell.Roaring in rage,he sprinted after the human and jabbed his blade through his arm, hissing in his ear...

OOC: Boswell, you do realize, just because zombies are hard to kill doesn't make them immortal...your zombie has been shot in the head quite a few times, it should be very worried about its survival...

Charles rushed forward, shooting the scythe at its base, which causing the limb to jolt back, removing it from Alec's arm, while the limb itself was badly mangled. Charles fired another shot, this one hitting the zombie's chest, causing it to fall backwards, giving Alec a chance to get away...

Alec ran back into the station, clasping where he got stabbed in for a few seconds before pulling out a red cloth in his back pocket, tying the wound up..

OOC:i know,it just seems everything else pretty much IS unbeatable for me since I'm a novice,so i try to use any opportunity to get in a few hits before i decide to retreat.Anyway,he'll grow back his scythe. The eye however will not be grown back.

The Slasher roared as it stumbled back.Deciding now would be a good time to retreat,The Slasher roared one last time before bolting off towards his nest to regenerate. The Leaper would probably not attack again unless he was certain they were weakened...

EDIT OOC:By the way, where was kingpin's human character who was in there with you during this time?

OoC: he was in the building, roaming the station, but i wasn't here to RP with him, and thus, you see what we call 'Brainfarts' in characters. i'm not here to use him, so he appears to either disappear or become brain dead, not moving or reacting to anything.

Jose skidded to a hault in the main hall, seeing the mess, the blood, the injury on Alec and the shell casings on the ground. the chaos had reached him from the start, but the weaving, winding hallways within the station were so labyrinthine that it had taken that long just to get here. "God DAMN IT!" he cursed, infuriated that he hadn't been there when his friends needed him...

After a few moments of thought, he finally pointed in the direction of Jack's little safe haven. "That way. i hope you're good with that crowbar" said Vergil. just then, a loud thump was heard in the alley Taban ran from. "Go! GO NOW!" he yelled before dragging Jack along with him, his typical attitude being overridden by his cop's instincts. a ratling roar could be heard in the alley Taban came from, the beast pursuing him getting ever closer...

OOC:I've seen an rp brainfart before,I stalked this forum for about a year, reading through everything I possibly could.

Shaking himself into consciousness,The Leaper suddenly looked left, then right, and let out a disappointed growl.Slowly,he did a roll and landed on his hands.Growling,he slithered off towards his nest.

After reaching his own nest,The Slasher looked down at his mangled claw that was now slowly repairing itself. He hissed as he instinctively moved his non-injured claw to his face but stopped just short from cutting his other eye out.He was now blind in 1 eye do to that battle. No matter,he still had his super smell and 1 eye.He once again looked down to his mangled arm and licked the blood off,the taste of both his own blood and the blood of his prey entering his mouth.Letting out an annoyed grunt,he nodded off.

Taban ran, following the man. Whatever was following them at caught up. He didn't have his crowbar out, but he did have his glock out. Still running, he said, "Yes, I've killed several with my crowbar. Knocked down even more. But I must admit, this is my first day in a while encountering a mutation." This man was a fast runner, but Taban could still keep up. He heard the creature behind him progressing, coming ever so quickly toward him...

"Damn it indeed..." Charles muttered, wondering where Jose had been, but was more focused on Alec's injury. Removing the rubbing alcohol from his pocket, Charles put a small amount of it on a rag, lifting the cloth Alec had used to protect the wound long enough to dab it with the rag, cleaning the injury to prevent infection. The least they needed was for one of them to lose a limb...or worse. Reapplying the cloth, Charles took a step back, putting the rubbing alcohol away. "There, you should be fine now. It'll hurt like hell until it heals, though." he announced, tossing the bloodied rag aside.

"It's not too deep.." Alec said, watching as slowly he red cloth was darkened by his blood. "A man can dream, right?" he added

"Well considering the lack of proper medical care..." Charles started, stopping himself before he finished the sentence. "What am I saying? You'll be fine." he added, trying to divert from the subject of how much the wound would hurt.

"keep away? you crazy esse? the further away you are from us, the more likely you are to be attacked by somethin else. you can't be sure you're infected. better not risk running into something that'll DEFINATELY infect you" said Jose, his axe in hand in case something else managed to get close enough that it could attack before he could pull his gun on it. he looked over at Charles. "You gonna help reclose the barricade? the last thing we want is something else coming in here"...

"Esse, if you interrupt my sleep like that even if you were JOKING, i'd chop you up!" called Jose lightly, with a chuckle, trying to lighten the mood a bit as he dragged a bench over to the door, closing it so that he could barricade it more strongly. he made a mental note to go down into the basement and make sure the door down there was properly sealed, though the fact it was a garage door opened by hydraulic locks which now had no power to them, meant the odds of it being opened without some extreme force was slim to none. he'd also see if he couldn't retrieve a thick pipe or something to put through the handles on the police station's main entrance...

Charles pushed a few file cabinets over to the door, wedging them under a few parts of the surviving barricade, making it harder to move. He half-heartily listened to the others talking, more focused on the task at hand, pushing a fairly large desk over toward the barricade, slowly but surely...

"Nah man, I'd be too tired to choose f*cking with you while you sleep over some quality shut eye for my self" Alec replied, walking back over to the desk and sitting on it..
