As the licker moved further into the hallway it was in now, it picked up the scent of a human(alec). Staying silent, the creature began to head in the direction of the scent, already considering the possibility of the human having a weapon with it...

OOC: ...You guys realize that the police station, or at least the parts that Alec and co are, is completely barricaded? I guess the Licker would be able to smell Alec from behind barricades, but he wouldn't actually be able to get to him without breaking it down.

Charles found a lounge within the police station, which had a few tattered couches and a mini-fridge, as well as a few cabinets above. The mini-fridge was obviously empty, but he managed to find a few canned foods above in the cabinets...

Kieran hearded a few muffled moans from above... It was reassuring. If there were shufflers here, there wouldn't be any of the more dangerous guys. Well, they were less likely in any case. He took out a torch from his bag, a black headband clipped onto it. He took off his hat and replaced it with the head band, tying it around his forehead. Waiting for a moment, he clicked the torch light on, the powerful beam lighting up the dark building. The interior of the shopping centre had been completely destroyed through numerous conflicts. Corpses littered the floors, stacking up into a small mountain by the escalators. There was another collection of them in the old fountain. Looking around, the first floor of the shopping market had taken serious damage, the shops were completely ransacked by both the living and the dead. He'd have more luck upstairs. He jogged over to the escalator and vaulted over the corpses quickly jogging up the dusty steel steps, feeling the structure rattle dangerously beneath his feet... He kept glancing around, the torch light flashing through the building, keeping an eye out for zombies...

the Nemesis growled lowly as he heaved himself to his feet, his body covered in dust and debris from the collapsed floor above. an infuriated roar was let loose from the beast as he straightened. he looked towards the window, thumping forward and crashing out of it, landing on the street 3 floors below with a heavy thump. as he straightened, he glanced towards the shopping centre, and began making his way towards it. he knew that the shopping centre was generally empty, not due to the lack of other undead monsters, but more due to it's sheer size giving alot of room for the zombies to move around in...

Vaulting over a corpse at the top of the escalator, Kieran spied shell casings littering the floor. Guns. Guns were bad, hopefully the owners were long gone. He quickly scanned around the second floor, the hexagon shape of the building making it slightly confusing. There were smallish shops around the edges and from what he could see, a barricaded corridor leading off to a different part of the building. He needed to find a way past the barricade, the larger shops would be over there, the shops which would have so much in stock of everything that looters would have to leave some behind. He begun walking around the floor, looking at the shop names, trying to find a store of use. He passed a mostly undamaged electronics store and a completely trashed area that looked like it might have been a café. Several moans distracted him, two zombies struggling to their feet from within the café desperatly trying to find a way out, shuffling desperately. One of them had no arms.

Kieran didn't pay much attention, moving quickly and checking the rest of the shops...

the beast entered the shopping centre, looking around, checking the scents to see where the human had gone, slowly following towards the escalator, walking up it 2 steps at a time, low clunks coming from it as he walked, Nemesis doubting it's ability to hold his weight. as he got most of the way up, he leapt, landing on the second floor escalator landing and continuing to walk, trying to find out where the human was going. it was only logical judging by the amount of consumables here that the human needed supplies, but what exactly it'd be looking for had him wondering. everything in this massive construction was used by humans for numerous purposes. the human could've gone anywhere. for now, he dependind on his sense of smell to tell him where to go, deciding it was best to just let his nose take him where he needed to go, rather than depend on logic. it'd make more sense as he got closer. hopefully the remnents of his human mind would help him figure more out as he went...

Name: Hunter
Gender:Male
Age:25
Appearance: Wears a black short sleeved shirt and jeans. Is 6,5 and has blue eyes.
Unique Talents: Worked as a engineer. Can work very well with his hands and is very smart.
History: Hunter's dad was a hunting enthusiast and used to bring him on hunting trips. Hunter attended Stanford University and returned to New York before the outbreak.

Hunter entered the hardware store looking for nails and boards. The motherfucking zombies have almost torn through his old barricade. The store was dark, no lights remaining after a year of zombie infection. He had collected his supplies and was now heading for the exit. He had his pistol at ready when he heard a faint moaning in the back. He went to the source and found it came from one of the supplie closet. Hunter opened the door to find a zombie eating a dead rat. Hunter quickley aimed the pistol at it and fired. The zombies was hit in the chest and looked up at him. It started appoching him when he fired another shoot hiting it in the head. Hunter exitited the store walking carefullly back to his hideout

The Kingpin says: electricity is no longer being generated in the city. 1 year after zombie infection, means 1 year with nobody to fuel or maintain the electricity generators, meaning they broke down and burned themselves out ages ago. any light is hand held, and even then, batteries are getting rarer and rarer as time goes on due to them being consumed by other survivors. a few small generators can be found around, but you need to actually get the fuel to operate them. not to mention they're noisy, and risky to operate in densely populated areas due to zombies

Rappid thuds could be heard from the barricaded station entrance. Fastie pounded his fists across the object blocking it, snarling, before throwing himself into the blockade. The impacts of the tenacious zombie threatened to dislodge it...

As the licker followed Alec's scent, it reached out to test for any doors that might be shut and sure enough, it felt a closed door. Pushing against it, the creature realized that it must have been blocked off from the other side and trying to break it down here would most likely alert it's possible prey. Without a sound, the licker crawled back the way it had come and onto the roof, quickly picking up the scent from the fastie, which was still in the air and began to followed it, it's hearing sharp enough to allow it to here a faint thumping up ahead...

Charles popped open one of the canned foods with his knife, spilling some rice into his hand before stuffing the food into his mouth hungrily. The rest of the canned foods were in the gym bag, Charles intent on sharing with the others, no use hiding valuable supplies from them...

Alec was sorting his inventory, his book bag contents spilled out on the bed

The Fastie let out a scream as he ran back at the door, launching into it, making the bench dislodge and thump against the desk

Jose jumped at the scream, having slipped into a light doze earlier, now spotting the creature behind it, the bench thumping against the desk loudly. luckily the pipes he had retrieved from the lower floor still kept the door safely shut, it's length making an outright knock loose all but impossible. still, he called out to the others. "Hey guys! we have a visitor!" he said, as he drew his gun and looked around for a window that had a wide enough opening to let him have a look at what was attacking, or perhaps poke the barrel of his gun through and shoot at it...

After following the Fastie's scent for a short while, the licker had reached it's current position, although it let out a quiet hiss of anger upon hearing it's scream. The scream would no doubt alert the human he had smelled recently and if it had companions, they would most likely be preparing themselves. Without so much as a hiss, the creature stabbed it's claws into a low part of the door, the sharpness of the claws and the force of the stab meaning that the longest of the weapons managed to pierce to the other side, although the claws owner was certain it would take multiple stabs before it could make an opening large enough for it to slip through...

Ooc:I'll edit the post depending on what KP informs me that the doors are made out of.

Frustrated and impatient now, the Fastie lept at the window near the door, breaking through the glass, clawing at the boards that blocked his entrance..

Alec quickly put the supplies back into his bookbag with a sweep of his arms and then got his gun, jumping off the bed and running to the door, moving the things he had put infront of it frantically before opening the door and rushing downstairs, eyes widening as he saw the zombie trying to break down the barricade, opening fire at it..

Charles arrived downstairs, having hastened his pace upon hearing the screams. Two zombies...one clawing at the barricaded entrance, and another trying to break apart the boarded up window. Charles could see Alec already trying to fend off the one at the entrance, while he himself went to the window, firing a few shots, which pierced straight through the wood, one hitting the zombie's shoulder, without doing much overall damage to the barricade itself...

The Fastie let out an ear peircing scream which left a ringing in the ears of all in the room, and unfortunatly disoriented the Licker. The zombie jumped out of the windowsill, charging back at it soon after, leaping into the wood and splintered it slightly..

Seeing the zombies break in,The Slasher patiently sat down onto his knees, resting his blades on the ground in front of him.He would watch until a human either fled or until the zombies left. After all,he had all the time in whatever was left of the world...

The licker, though disoriented by the fastie's scream, had heard the sound of wood splintering after the scream, where it knew there had been a window from hearing the glass break. Once it had overcome the pain of the scream, it quickly crawled to where it had heard the boards splintering and began to pound on the slightly splintered boards with it's right front foot...

"Do something! Kill them!" Charles yelled to Alec, blinking to focus himself once again, firing repeatedly at the attackers, some bullets whizzing past harmlessly, while others hit their abdomen, shoulders, and other body parts seemingly at random...
