"Then I have nothing to lose," replied Grievous. "Lead the way, strange disembodied voice."

The voice chuckled, a small door opening at the end of the current, battle-scared room...

Grievous walked through the door, looking around at his new surroundings. The cyborg stayed tense, more than eager to wait for his foe to come to him...

The room, unlike the previous ones, was not coated in metal. Instead, it was a strong plastic-like material, which covered every inch of the room, including the entrance Grievous emerged from, which closed shut behind him with a loud thud. A few metal structures, however, dotted the enormous room, including a few "rocks", as well as a single, small bunker like construct at one side of the room. On the opposite side, once all entrances were sealed, a section of the wall opened, smaller then the entrance the cyborg used, also covered in the plastic-like material, but the shadowed inside prevented the general from seeing the entire section...

Grievous stepped a little farther into the room, looking around. The mere fact that the room was made of plastic worried him, and he felt slightly uncomfortable in his own metal skin...

From the depths of the opening, a small machine rolled out on equally small treads, looking like a tank with a crane-like neck. The small machine wheeled itself forward, firing tiny plasma shells at the walls around it, a few whizzing past Grievous at the other end of the complex...

Grievous looked at the plasma shells, before instinctively sprinting at the machine, Lightsabers activated. He swung the pair of blades at the machine's long neck, trying to kill it immediately...

The Dark Lord of the Sith narrowed his eyes. The last reports from Thrawn indicated a worse case scenrio. The Sith knew the risks but he had to show up eventually. His flagship along with his Imperial escort moved swiftly in hyperspace, rapidly closing in on Trandosha. They were prepared for a fight as soon as they got there. If things were to turn out sucessful, coordinated between the Vardians would be key considering The TGDA leader was out of the party for the moment.

The machine's crane "arm" fell, cut by the lightsabers, as it backed up suddenly, as if surprised by the general's attack. Before the cyborg's eyes, the rest of the crane arm seemed to disintegrate, a large metal lance pointing out of the front of the machine, assembled in seconds, which sped forward toward Grievous, still only the height of the cyborg's midsection, aiming the lance at his ribs...

Grievous sidestepped, narrowly dodging the lance, slicing it off as well with one saber, while stabbing into the machine's body with the other.

The nostromo crew waited in the mess hall area as the Star Destroyer cruised through hyperspace. Ash headed to the Nostromo in secret making sure nobody saw him as he entered the ship through the airlock. He headed to mother's control room and sat down at the computer screen.

The small tank whirled angrily, pushing itself forward, causing the lightsaber to cut through its body, causing the machine to break apart and fall, crashing in a pile of metallic parts near one of the metal rocks, pieces scattered all around it...

Grievous crushed several of the tank's metal pieces underfoot, knowing from experience it wasn't that easy, and trying to destroy as much of the apparently self-regenerating creature as possible. Fortunately, the heat from his Lightsaber blades could weld some of the metal together from the heat, if he was lucky...

Suddenly, Grievous' taloned feet began to dissolve, starting first with the claws on the limb, slowly progressing toward the rest of his foot, while the metal, including the rock, began to disintegrate, massing on the other side of the barrier, including parts of metal from the cyborg's foot...

Grievous shook his dissolving foot in surprise, trying to rid himself of the material that was doing it. He still kept one eye on the massing metal farther away, putting no ease to his worries. He backed away, still trying to shake the metal off, ready to slice off his own foot if necessary...

The dissolving stopped, only a side effect to the metals' close proximity, just as a figure behind the mangled metallic boulder began to rise up. A masked face stared back at Grievous, a discolored version of his own face, minus the slight organic features, its eyes glowing like headlights, more of its body now visible. The metallic being's body was just as its head: a carbon copy of Grievous', but made of different materials. The rock shielding it now completely disintegrated, two small hilts began to assemble in the robot's hands, yet again copied of the cyborg's own lightsabers. Upon activation, two large beams of plasma shot out from the hilts, ricocheting off the walls before dissipating, the machine making a loud, angry gurgle, the hilts attaching themselves to its wrists...

Grievous' foot was still in working condition, but just barely. Instead, he focused on the copy of him standing in front of the cyborg. "Well well, someone's unimaginative. What's the matter? Your weapons not work? Here, let me show you!" He stepped forward, slicing the machine's head off with a blade, before stepping back again, preferring not to have such a dangerous foe so close...

The machine gurgled angrily, raising its arms as the former hilts activated, the two beams of plasma slamming into Grievous' chest, blowing him back across the room. The headless machine walked forward somewhat awkwardly, the severed head disintegrating in a matter of seconds, but did not reform...for the moment.

As Grievous hit the ground, he rolled over, landing in a crouch, armor scorched, but mostly undamaged. As the machine stumbled forward, Grievous ran at it, sliding low and slicing both it legs off with one saber slash. The cyborg turned around and stood up, Lightsabers at the ready...

The machine twisted as it fell, grabbing Grievous' foot, pulling the damaged limb out from under him, the mangled machine attempting to claw its way onto the cyborg completely, the surface of the cyborg's legs started to break apart...

Some distance away, at another metallic rock, the construct began to break apart rapidly, once again collecting behind it...
