Flying east of the South American cost, Tundra kept steady pace with the signals Osiris and Placentra gave off, deciding some time ago that having them as enemies wouldnt be as easy as having them as allies, but even then, he didnt, nor did he blame them for it, think they would forgive him for the unprovoked attack some time ago. It was still worth a shot

Once again using his arm to lessen the damage, two streams of acid shot forward, splashing across the mech's chest and shoulders, Biovine pulling his legs completely from the jungle, allowing for faster movement...

Shaking his body at a speed only a mech could achieve, Pred-1, managed to shake the acid off before it did too much damage. The mech sprinted forward, suddenly leaping into the air and somersaulting over Biovine. As he landed, Pred-1 pulled out his double-tipped spear and stabbed one end into the plant monster's back, holding on tightly...

Biovine unleashed a deep groan of anger, its plant-like body closing in completely on the spear, as its arms twisted back unnaturally, the flower-like "eye" swiveling around to face the mech as well, grasping one gargantuan hand onto Pred-1's shoulder, hurling the mech aside with relative ease, the spear still impaled through Biovine's back, which now seemed to be its chest...

Pred-1 rolled backwards as he landed, getting easily to his feet. Chest plate opening up, the mech fired his Sonic Beam, the green beam slamming into Biovine's chest, not worrying about his spear, which would be mostly unharmed by the attack...

Biovine groaned angrily at the attack, using its forearm as a makeshift shield yet again, raising its other limb, a glob of acidic material splattering against Pred-1's exposed chest, the relatively sticky material burning away at the less armored area...

Pred-1 kept his sonic ray constant, scattering the acid as it entered the beam's path. He simultaneously fired his missile launcher, the rockets arcing around this time and exploding against Biovine's back...

Using another stream of acid, Biovine coated the mech's head while it fired, temporarily disrupting its optics with the corrosive material, the plant-like creature shifting itself as fast as possible-the motion of which causing small tremors from the tremendous weight of the creature-out of the way of the beam...

Shaking his head quickly, Pred-1 scattered the acid, though his optics had to refocus for a few seconds before he could see perfectly again. Wanting to keep a distance from the acid, the mech backed up, swiveling to keep the sonic ray on Biovine, which seemed to be having the desired effect...

Aggravated by the attack, Biovine slammed its hands into the ground, the tendrils exploding out in front of it, forming a relatively thick wall of gargantuan vines, which blocked the sonic beam effectively, at least for the moment. Biovine seemed to merge with the jungle yet again, the entire island seeming to come alive as it moved....

Pred-1 stopped the attack, looking around for Biovine, mainly by looking for his spear, which he could track easily with his optics. Using his jets, he hovered in the air, above the jungle and easily spotted the spear, which glowed a bright red, contrasting with the rest of the terrain. The mech fired his missile launcher again, this time at where the spear was, hoping to hit Biovine in the attack...

A loud groan emitted from the spot, the spear launching up from the ground by a few vine-like tendrils, aimed at the mech's chest, while another stream of acid quickly followed it, coating the weapon in the corrosive material...

Pred-1 swerved to the side, letting the spear zip past him. If he had any emotions, the mech might have been annoyed. Instead, he extended his shoulder cannons, rapid-fire red maser blasts peppering the ground where the spear had been earlier...

A number of tendrils exploded out of the ground below the mech, wrapping around its legs before yanking it down toward the jungle. Biovine emerged like a mountain of trees, near the tendrils, swinging an enormous hand at the still-falling mech...

Soon, Osiris reached the outskirts of the city, proceeding along the road and keeping his sensors at full power, trying to detect anything out of the ordinary, heading into the denser areas of the city.

Horus scanned the city from above, the dead grey concrete jungle below seemingly devoid of life. it struck him as odd seeing as it provided ample shelter for smaller monsters from the giants. growing somewhat uncomfortable, he messaged Osiris and Placentra. "Any particular reason we're here?"...

Placentra replied "We're searching for resources. My giant friend here needs to replemish his bioarmor after that last fight". Odly enough, his lie was actually true..

Osiris added "Yeah, I took a few hits." The machine paused slightly, suddenly losing the signal, as if it had just disappeared. He continued on shortly after, hoping no one had noticed...

Horus had turned around after reaching the edge of the city, now looking for a different kind of target. he was searching for a construction site...

Proteus was the first to spot a living creature, which happened to be a Gyaos perched on a crumbling skyscraper. Spooking the flying beast from its perch, proteus took over, watching the surrounding cityscape carefully, while the Gyaos swooped away, looking for another place to sleep. "What... is this... place? It seems... to be the... remains of... a city. Are there... other creatures on this... planet?"

As Pred-1 was pulled down, he fired his missiles as Biovine's arm, blowing it apart. Using his wrist blades, he also sliced through the vines holding his legs, allowing him to fly to freedom, higher in the sky...
