The Leopard being smart,did not respond,and continued eating the antilope. The pack was nearing Razors territory. Razor could already pick up the scent of his brother. They found a small patch of trees that they could hide in. There they saw Silver Tooth with his mate Poka,and his young son,Fang. Razor hissed quietly *Should we kill his young?* He was ready to execute the plan they had talked about in the jungle.

"No...it is through no fault of his own that his father betrayed you. besides, he's Debra's brother, remember?" snarled Nightbane...



[I don't see why you chose to call them Debra and Jane when the rest have names like Silver Tooth and Razor...really difficult to keep in the continuity of the RP when you're using such human names for animals...]

"Come on, already..." Redtail whispered. "I've been waiting forever to get a free meal like this!" The jackal had followed Nightbane and his wolf pals through the jungle, easily avoiding the attention of the other predators around, and was now watching the group from another, larger bush...

Nightbane's ears twitched as he thought he had heard something, freezing for a moment to listen, his eyes shifting to stare in the general direction of where the sound came from, his claws unsheathing themselves for a few moments...

Seeing the lion turn to look at his hiding spot, Redtail crouched down, confident his small size would hide him...

Nightbane's eyes focused directly on the spot the Jackal was hiding, having caught the movement of it crouching, suddenly lunging for the bush, pinning whatever was there under his paws, his claws caught in the fur of whatever it was, though for now, foliage concealed it enough to keep him from identifying it. he knew it was too large to be generic vermin, but wasn't large enough to be a threat. "Who are you?" he rumbled irritably...

Razor followed Nightbane into the bush and saw something simmiliar his size. He hissed *You have made made a big mistake,leave if you dont want to be torn to pieces* Razor was eager to get the fight with Silver Tooth started. The pack was infront of Silver Tooth and was minding their own bussines,but soon that was going to change. One wolf was killed,not following Silver Tooths orders. His carcass still rotting on the ground.

Redtail struggled angrily, yapping, "Whoa whoa whoa! Let go, already! What'd I do ta you?! I'm just looking for an easy meal!"

Razor hissed with a grin *Easy meal? I guess your trying to risk your life,getting that carcass over there? Its in front of a pack,of 19 wolves,so i wouldnt recommend it,and if your that hungry i could give you my brothers carcass after i kill him*. Then he heard Poka,bark *Fang go get some larvas to eat* Fang was going to enter the patch of trees where,the pack,the lion and the jackal were. He quickly asked the lion *What should we do now,should we hold him with us,or should we send him off?*.

Nightbane almost audibly cursed. he hadn't expected them to be this close to the pack. "Grab him, silence him and keep him with us. two of us will have to stay behind and watch him. the other two will come with me and we'll finish this" he snarled as he looked at Razor, before giving the Jackal a menacing stare. "I suggest you hope you have no connections to that pack, Jackal....or else your as good as dead" he snarled, before letting go and turning his back o the Jackal, staring at the wolf pup now approaching them...

Jane,walked out of the trees into sight of Silver Tooth. Silver Tooth stared at her,for a few moments,and then walked up to her, *Have you come hre to be killed? If i was Razor i would not let you come here,for anything,but sicne your here,i think its your time to be killed*. Poka rammed Jane to the ground and Silver Tooth stood over her. Razor hissed at the lion *When should we attack?*.

Redtail muttered, "Eating whoever loses this fight was going to my meal, lunkhead. Stupid wolves..." The jackal did little but simply hang there, watching the scene disdainfully...

Several hundred meters from Redtail lay a Thylacine named Titanus, who was resting underneath a tree, the large marsupial eyed the jackal, but decided it wasn't the effort to chase down and kill, the Tasmanian wolf laid his head back down, now sound asleep...

"Now" snarled Nightbane, leaping forward and landing directly over Jane, using his massive body to shield her, a thundering snarl coming from the Lion as he stared Silver Tooth right in the eyes, his snarl rumbling with enough strength to resonate in the chests of his enemies as well as his own. "I don't think you're in any position to decide who dies, Silver Tooth...afterall....Your time has Come......" growled Nightbane as he towered over the Wolf, his piercing emerald green eyes staring into the Wolf's own...

Titanis quickly woke up, now alert after hearing the nearb snarl of a lion, the Tasmanian Wolf heading off into the underbrush in search for live prey...

Redtail's eyes widened in excitement as he watched the spectacle. "Ooh, this'll end well!" he thought, his mouth already watering...

Titanis lurked deep in the brush, nose sniffing the area for any nearby prey items, a faint scent reached the nostrils of the marsupial. "mmm... I hope that is what I htink it is..." Titanis growled to himself as he chased after the scent...

The sounds of squabbling reached Titanis' ears, as two voices, one male, one female growled at each other: "Hey! Give that part back, it's my favorite!" "Tough luck, Banzai. You need to lose some weight anyway." "Oh, I do?!" The argument was punctuated by bouts of seemingly random hyena-like laughter...

Titanis swerved his head around, the Thylacine tried to pinpoint the source of the voices, though he failed miserably in donig so, though he didn't want to give his location in to whoever was arguing...

The voices continued, oblivious to the Thylacine's presence, coming from where he had smelled the marsupial. "Look, how about this: I get the liver and the heart, and you can have the rest." "Wait, really?" "Yeah, sure! The liver and heart are the most filling parts anyway." "What about Ed?" "I'm sure he can scrape whatever he can off the bones."
