"Ooh, Porsche!" Wisp zipped out of the SUV and bolted into the Porsche, flying through the door and sitting one of the back seats, obviously excited. As Velkor casually climbed into the SUV, he growled, "She likes the word 'Porsche,' what can I say?"

Nik jumped slightly at the sight of Wisp. Vincent only smiled. "Looks like we have another passenger brother," he said and then put on a pair of shades.

[The Kingpin]

Mike chuckled, Spencer smirking slightly. "Typical kid, eh?" commented Mike as he revved the engine, putting it in gear, the Mercedes lurching forward after the Land Cruiser, which was already a fair distance towards the main road...

[Shade]

Vincent followed after Mike and looked ahead toward the Land Cruiser. "I wonder if we're going to attract attention with these cars?" Nik asked. Vincent only shrugged.

Nyx and Diana jammed out to the radio waving their arms and bobbing their heads to the music.

"Define typical, Mikey," replied Velkor, slouching in his chair in relaxation.

Wisp simply bounced up and down excitedly in her seat, looking around with a big grin and golden eyes.

[Shade]

Thanatos looked at Wisp and shook his and rolled his eyes. Taking out his ipod and choosing his favorite song. Vincent only smiled and shook his head as well. "Sit still or your happiness is gonna overload," Nik commented to Wisp.

Mike chuckled at the reply, saying "Excitable, curious, and extremely energetic?". by now, the 'convoy' had reached the main road and were heading for a highway. Drake meanwhile, took notice of the girls' behaviour, chuckling. Indestructible had ended, and the next song came onto the track, almost at the same time they got onto the highway. Highway to Hell by ACDC began playing. it was almost too perfect...though, come to think of it, everywhere was hell these days. people frequently moved in convoys, and stuck in groups to keep safe....at least, as safe as one could be in this situation...

Nyx and Diana giggled uncontrollably as they watched each other. "Ya know after this, we really gotta find a decent party," Nyx commented. "Seriously, all this energy doesn't just go into kicking bad guy butt," Diana added.

Velkor opened his mouth, about to make a snarky comment, but then hissed, "Yeah, that pretty much sums it up, actually."

Wisp stopped bouncing, but the grin didn't leave her face. "Where're we going anyways?" she asked.

[Shade]

Vincent looked in the mirror and smiled. "Chicago," he said simply. Nik smiled as well. "The motor city or I would say the chick city," he said and nodded his head slowly.

Wisp perked up. "Baby chickens?! Awwww!" Sticking her head out of the window, she looked around excitedly, saying, "I can't wait to get to Chicago now!"

Vincent and Nik started snorting and coughing until finally bursting into laughter. "Wisp, I'm afraid he meant girls, human girls," Vincent called when he got ahold of himself.

Mike chuckled. "I know kids" he said. he accelerated once everyone was on the highway, running up alongside the Landcruiser which now had Humans Being blaring out of it's speakers. waving at the vehicle, he accelerated ahead, Drake chuckling and following, flooring the accelerator as the car launched itself from the typical 80 MPH they were moving at to twice that speed, rapidly gaining on the smaller SUV, whose engine wasn't quite as souped upas Land Cruisr was. "Hey Velkor. i take it you've been hangin' out with Drake for a while. got anything interesting you could share?" asked Mike. at one time, he had been in a similar position to Velkor. Drake's comrade. their jobs tended to be the toughest Brimstone had, the duo working very efficiently together, each one covering for the other's weaknesses. it'd be interesting to hear what adventures Drake'd been having recently...

Velkor tapped his chin thoughtfully. "Y'know, I can hardly remember anything. There was a whole mess with a Nightmare, there was this giant Demon that almost killed Drake and the rest of us by itself, there was some members of the Cult of Khorne, some weird Demon called Hedrox, an incident with the Jersey Devil... Come to think of it, the only time we HAVEN'T had to worry about a Demon was when we were going after a Vampire named Siete, I think."

Wisp's eyes turned blue, and she looked downtrodden. "Oh... That's boring..."

[The Kingpin]

"Wait...Hedrox? i thought that thing was killed 70 years ago. most irritating Vampire we ever dealt with. i thought Drake killed it 70 years ago in Germany" responded Mike. Spencer meanwhile, had his eyes closed, seemingly asleep...

an eyeball stared out of the middle of the back seats of the Porsche, watching the events silently...

Velkor shrugged. "I guess not. We kicked the thing's a** though. A bit of fire was all it took. I'm guessing he's an old archnemesis of Drake's or something?"

[The Kingpin]

"Arch Nemesis? maybe at one time. now? hardly. he's just a recurring annoyance. Hedrox seemed to have involvement with every major enemy Drake's ever been after. typically slows him own, nearly killed him once early in his career" responded Mike...

[Shade]

Vincent only chuckled and excelerated with the rest. Thanatos stared blankly out the window and sighed as he gradually fell into his own little world. Nik looked around at Wisp and smiled at her. "You're pretty childish for a demon, that is what you are right?" he asked.

Wisp shrugged. "I dunno, really. I think I'm a Demon, cuz Velkor says I would turn into a wolf at night or burn to a crisp in the day if I wasn't."

Velkor nodded. "Reminds me of a little... friend of mine I used to know. Almost killed, well, someone once, and has been annoying me ever since."

Nik rose his eyebrows and turned back around. "Interesting," he said. "Any other abilities you're capable of?" Vincent asked.

Soon the girls calmed down and started talking about anything they could. Nyx leaned toward Diana and Diana leaned toward her too, each whispering, a few times blushing...
