I agree. Morw than one pokemon would get confusing.

I have a concern with PRPG

Gira, the RPG isnt going to be like the game with the berry or medicene instantly rejuvinating your pokemon (Your last post made it seem like that)

The way Im posting in that RPG, is if its like ISS or something, just with out an animal alone. As far as I know, every pokemon is an ANIMAL, so in an RPG sense (ya know, with realism and such) they should act somewhat like real animals, in terms of health atleast...

Sorry about that. when my Pokemon ate the berry, it FELT like it's energy returned to it, though not really. From now on, I'll start to go with the ISS style of realism...

This is NOT the place to post concerns about the rpg. Now that its been made, nothing more needs to be said about it here. If you wish to discuss the rpg, make a disscussion topic about it in Offtopic and complain about the rules/posts there.
This is the rpg REQUESTS topic.

I think a Star Wars RPG would be cool, don't know if that's out of line or already been requested, just a thought though.

SEW my friend.

Pretty much has 50% of Star Wars stuff in it.

I have a suggestion I've been thinking about. Maybe we can make an RPG out of this?

http://www.dreamkeeperscomic.com/DreamWorld.htm It explains everything you need to know in those links. You don't have to read ALL the history, except maybe the most recent stuff.

Space E-war. It's located in the Random Topic section. There, you can make any race you want, and use that.

Random Fun Gira means.

DM: Once again, making RPGs about specific topics is destined to fail, as it would be too limited. Beyond that, the makers of that website would probably be extremely pissed at us for taking their idea, should they find out (Which is very possible, look at the whole CIK incident).

if you want to ask, ask in the Random Topic. this is the RPG Requests topic. and that's it's only purpose.

Nothing wrong with one, I mean, if people want a full canon only Star Wars rpg then they are free to vote for it, but there just isn't the interest. SEW doesn't really count. I mean, sure, it has plenty of Star Wars stuff in it, but the Stars Wars things are outclassed in there. What's considered top of the range in Star Wars canon could be a junk heap in comparison to other race's designs.

True, but I doubt someone would want JUST a Star Wars E-war (RPG? Dun think so, because its based almost completely on combat). SEW allows for more freedom and creativity, while still having a number of Star Wars machines, factions, etc etc.

I would vote for a star wars RPG, the reasons being.

1: It's not just about combat. There are so many possibilities.

2: You could choose thousands on races, planets, vehicles.

3: The story line in the comics, books, movies, videogamess just Scratch the surface of the Star Wars universe.

SEW is even bigger. because there's potential for the entire Star Wars universe to fit inside of it, as well as so much more from outside of it...

No, Kp. Sure, Star Wars has to be modified slightly to fit into it, and even then, it would be out of place.

I wouldn't vote for it because of SEW. I did support the idea of a Star Wars rpg ages ago but as the current idea reeked of epic fail, SEW was made instead. I personally have no need for an rpg like Star wars anymore as SEW fills that niche for me.

Since ISS is (at least in my opinion) the best rpg ever made, I think we should make something like that.

How about prehistoric mammals?

Here are some reasons:

1. In ISS, if you took away the story and everything, you get a dinosaur rpg.

2. Well, dinosaurs are quite enjoyable, but it doesn't feel right to ignore the mammals.

3. also, the whole carnivore thing is getting out of hand. There are no herbivore RPers at all in ISS. i don't get why... it's not like you'll be killed by the first carnivore you meet, since you can't "kill" another player's character(s) without their or the threadmaster's permission. But in this, (if it's accepted) even herbivores would most likely have a defensive feature. you want free food and still go on a rampage? pick a mamoth for God's sake.

4. I have never seen any rpg with mammal characters, or even NPCs (not including humans).

Here are reasons I would expect some critisism:

1. We already have ISS. Why do we need this when it's ISS, just with different characters?

2. Paradoxes. No, not with time, but because of the pre-INGEN/post-INGEN issue. You see, if it's before ingen, then teh consequences of the storyline from the Preshistoric Beasts rpg (the name i came up with) could and probably would have severe effects on all topics (rpg or otherwise) that tie to ingen in any way (including my Doom Island series). And if it's after ingen, who the hell would make a second ingen? especially after what happened to ingen? And it can't BE ingen. That causes a hell of a lot of trouble.

3/ There's another issue, this time it is with time. Because most of the best and most well known prehistoric beasts are the mamoth, smilodon, megatherium, and perhaps the terror birds. (dodos went extinct after human civilization existed. i think it was europe). But the terror birds became extinct because of smilodon. the mammoths outlasted the others (except the cave bear). So you have the issue that they all come from different times and different parts of the world. so ONLY an ingen-like company could bring them all as potential characters.

4. then you obviously have the issue of beast-human interactions. human sees smilodon, they shoot. the mammals aren't that bullet resistant. they don't have protective scales. case in point.

I know it probably won't be accepted, but I just thought I'd try.
You've lost the game,
The game of life,
So drop your pain,
And leave your strife.
