I do realize that carnivores truly flurished with the massive Titanosaurids gone, but there were still the smaller sauropods, (the Saltosaurids) These prevailed until the end of the late cretaceous.

I am currently working on a project that is mainly aimed at working out the main Dinosaur population in NYC. Judging from already known factors, there are no large sauropods in NYC, and the Carnosaur/Spinosaurid population there is very low. A few mor ethings need to be worked out, such as where to post the results, but other than that, things are going smoothly...

They prevailed because there really WERE no other herbivores in South America or Africa.

The weird thing is that carnosaurs (generally) weren't as large as Tyrannisaurids, even though there was more food to eat from the Sauropods......

The reason there are no Sauropods in NYC is because we don't ALLOW them there. Its absurd to think that the "pirates" would have the means to bring something that large over.

And its easier to say "No Sauropods" then say "No Brachs, Argentinos, etc etc". Plus, no one has any Sauropod characters, so there's no big deal.

As for actual numbers of Tyrannosaurs/Carnosaurs in NYC? Everyone loves T-rex, that's why. But there have been a lot more characters being Gigas, Carchars, etc etc.

As for NPCs? There are none. Same reason as the Sauropods, just that things that large in such quantity would be ridiculous.

Not everyone likes Rexy. Someone I know likes ankylosaurus. I like T-rex, though.

I'm currently doing the HR7 duel Hermitaur quest and I laughed when the normal Daimyo broke one of the claws of the purple one with an attack aimed at me.

Sounds kinda sad. Sounds like how I trick the rathalos into killing the velociprey in the nest for me.

Finished watching the MH frontier 7.0 trailer and a cool touch that Capcom gave to the monster was having it blink it's eyes, unlike most of the other monsters in the series.

IK: Slaughter. Beat the sh*t out of people in hand to hand combat, or rip them apart with your hands. Theres a game mode where you have swords (a favorite of TT and I)

He was unbeatable with Mantis style figting (He drops down and then leaps over you, while your going "OMGWTFBBQ" he's sliced you up beyond recognition) until I found a counter. (Stay still, and when he leaps just poke the sword into the air and let momentum do the killing for me)
