lol.

James was answered when Adeline told him which idea was the one they thought was good, and agreed. he said "the captains will be hung, the ships plundered, and then blown to smithereens with the crew inside.". the 2 flinched. ever since James did his first serious punishment, everything involving punishment and execution seemed to sound increasingly violent. the 3 returned to their ships, and they continued sailing. they would arrive there tommorow. nobody expected much trouble. it was an unusually gory trip this time. it was as though they were sent after them. the 6 ships sailed together, targeting a port, planning to finally set foot on land and take care of the rather difficult situation they were in.....

Adeline was noticing a change in James' ways. He was acting more violent toward the punishments. Each one was getting more violent than the next. Just what the heck was going on with him? She sighed and ordered her crewmen to start working again. They did as they were told, noticing Adeline's dark expression on her face.

She walked to the starboard side of the ship and leaned against the edge, looking at the ocean. She started to think about her family. About her mother and father. She left them in the middle of the night to become a pirate. It was her dream and her dream came true. But she still missed them. What will they think of her now? She knows that she can never go back to Port Royal again unless in disguise. She took the locket that hung from her neck and looked at it.

Her father gave it to her when she turned twelve. A faint smile appeared at the happy memory. "I shouldn't be thinking about these things now. Ignore the past." She walked from the starboard side and went to the wheel, steering the ship. She started to think of what was happening now.

a few days later, the group arrived at the port of New Redmond, and sold the Rotten Monkey and Defiance, and got rid of the newest crew, getting a handsome bounty from the british garrison for the dutch militants. they accepted without question, since James had been wearing a noble's outfit, to help disguise his rather piratey demeanor. the Black Pearl, now known as the Beauty, was repaired, and rearmed. James took his pistol to a well known gunsmith, to have it fine-tuned even more than it already was. it's range was doubled, thanks to a specially designed, spiral barrel. shots would go twice as far as a regular military pistol, and nearly as far as a musket shot. it was also improved in terms of accuracy. the spiral barrel also increased the damage a single shot would do, since the bullet would be rotating as it went through the opponent. he then had his sword sharpened by a professional swordsmith, and had the glass of his spyglass polished, to improve the clarity of what he was looking at. after that, he went to the tavern and asked for 50 barrels of rum, to keep the crew happy during the grim journey ahead. he vowed to himself he'd try to return his friendly personality. he was becoming too cruel. he met his friends in the shipyard, where Yuke and Adeline were having plans made for repairs and improvements made to their ships...

yuke got his ship repaired replaced the destroyed guns and bought something special to make his ship Unique: Blue sails with a barberian face and a cup of rum illustration
then he went to sharpen his hook and his sword ,gave his musket a total cleaning

then when he was walking on the market he found something an hook attachment set :there was a whip attachment a diner set and much more like a butcher set ...
he immediatly bought the set then he went to the tavern to get 80 barrels of rum:60 for him 20 for the crew
then the barkeeper said: wanna try something new??
Yuke answerred:what is it

Y:yea why not what is it called?
B:Canada dry
Yuke tasted it ...and damn it tasted fine without getting drunk yuke also has fun and that never happend before
Y:Barkeeper i want 120 barrels of this on my ship
B:uhhh. i only have 70 barrels and i don't sell it
Yuke raised the barkeeper up with his hook
Y:you where saying???

Adeline made the repairs that had to be done to her ship after their last attack. She bought new and better guns, along with some grapeshot and round cannonballs for the next attack they might have.

After making repairs and improvements to the Red Dawn, the captain decided it would be good to have a little look around town. She walked down the streets and stopped when she spotted a pistol that she really liked. It had a silver design from the handle that ran to the top of the barrel with a rich black shine. She bought the beautiful pistol and walked back to the shipyard, showing James and Yuke the new weapon with pride.

James was surprised at the look of the pistol. if it wasn't for stubborn pride, he'd swear it looked better than his! it had a black barrel, which was unusual among pistols, and a silver engraved pattern on it, in a partially celtic design. it was impressive, but it was a single shot pistol, rather than a double shot like James'. he said "that is an impressive pistol! it looks excellent! where'd you buy it?".

"I got if from the weapon's shop over there," explained Adeline, pointing the direction she went. "The man who works there says that he makes them." She stared in Yuke's direction after he commented on the pistol and gave out a hearty laugh, replying back. "Oh Yuke, my friend then I will haunt you to your grave." She also looked in the cup and listened to him, explaining what it was. "It looks like some good drink."

[canada? canada was around in 1680?! ]

James thought about it for a bit. he thought "ah, what the heck. i may as well try it. make it 3 Canada drys, on me.". the Bartender nodded, annoyed because all his Dry Ale was going. after they were served, the group sat at a table further away from the others, so that they could have some privacy for any planning they may have.....

James thought about it. the Night of Merriment wasn't exactly urgent at the moment. by now, all the crew had excellent morale, having had the bad crew laid off, and keeping the good ones. also, they had enjoyed themselves alot while in the city of New Redmond. James said "well, next time, i think we should indeed do it on a stretch of empty beach, but we'd need to have a group of guards, led by one of us, watching over the beach from the ships, to make sure no smugglers, or other pests attack us unprepared. we should also keep the Rum AWAY from the fires we make, otherwise, we'd be asking to be blown to bits. then how'd we be able to rescue my father? we wouldn't get there as seperated bodyparts, that's for sure. and, we should have our weapons handy at all times, armed and ready for a fight. being on a beach means we can be ambushed more effectively than we would out at sea, but if a drunk crew member happened to drop a lantern on one of the decks, we can say goodbye to our ships.".

James gave out a deep, hearty laugh as he said "We'd be saying what my father was saying to Elizabeth....can anyone tell me why the Rum's gone? ". the 2 laughed as he said it. he said it exactly like his father did. it was as though they were twins. the only difference was that Jack was a free for all man, letting people do things without punishing them if they weren't going to kill him or steal his ship. James would punish the crew if they did something they shouldn't, to keep them in line. right now though, he seemed a different man. he was so cheery and light-hearted he seemed to be his father. he said "now, seriously, what do you think. how many men should guard the ships, and how often should we switch the guards?".

"We should have the strongest and most loyal guard the ships," suggested Adeline, drinking some of her Canada in the process. The comment about the women didn't bother her that much. At least there would be more people of the female persuasion to talk to.

James said "ok. so we switch guards every half hour. i'll lead the first group, then one of you two, then the other, then Nathaniel, then back to me, and so on and so forth".
