The figure quickly ducked out of sight, back into the shadows, leaving behind no trace of the thing, whatever it was...

"Sh*t" Alec said, breaking into a slow jog, making his way near the park. The area was pretty open there, not much trees, so its unlikely that anything could take them by suprise...

[The Kingpin]

"is it concrete?" asked Vergil as he ran, though it seemed the Nemesis had stopped...he doubted it'd give up that quickly...

"Well... depends," Nick replied. "What's a three-story apartment building made of?"

Slowly, the Slasher got to his feet, kicking up some bits of rubble. He smacked the stone ground twice with each blade, then let out a booming roar of a challenge, planting his feet firmly on the ground.

The leader dropped to all four's into a running post that sprinters take, baring its teeth as its eyes looked hellbent on the Slasher...

The Slasher stood his ground, slightly hunching over with his bladed arms pointed forward. He suspected a trap, but he was too hungry to care. Even his increased intelligence couldn't stop the hunger that all zombies felt.

With that, the Slasher roared another taunt, his pitch black eyes somehow darker with hatred and hunger...

The large Noctournal launched himself foward, running almost too human like for an undead in a sprint. As its burst of speed began to fade, it leapt into the air, one arm clasping the Slasher's, behind the blade while the other lashed out, slamming into the zombie's face dead on and disorienting it. Then its legs swung into the Slasher's stomach, blowing it onto his back, the boney undead pinning it down, lips curling and putrid slimey saliva dripping out of its mouth...

The Slasher snarled, surprised by the leader's actions. Then, he roared right back at the leader, directly into his face, his vocal cords making it more of a shriek. The dagger tipped, arm-like appendages that replaced his mouth opened up like a flower. The Slasher tucked his tongue down into his throat, then rammed his head forward, aiming to engulf the leader's own head.

The leader slammed its fist into the Slasher's face, slamming its head to the gravel, while the hand holding an arm released, swinging from the side to rip at the Slasher's cheek, flaying the rotting flesh of the downed zombie

The Slasher would have grinned if he had a real mouth. Instead, he snapped his dagger tipped limbs shut around the leader's fist, digging into it. His cheek bled lightly, the blood thick and a tint of black, and the back of his head bled slightly, but he ignored this as he held his jaw tight around the leader's fist.

The leader let out a low, angered growl, unlfexing his hand. With a grunt, he shoved it deep into the Slasher's throat, ignoring the pain from the blade toothed monster. He felt the creature's tongue and lashed out with his clawed fingers, digging into its tongue and forcing it to open its mouth. He pulled out his hand, in the processes, shredding its tongue and then leaping off of it...

((The Slasher doesn't have a mouth technically, and the leader may have lost a finger or two from the blades and strength of the Slasher combined, but meh, don't edit if ya don't want.))

The Slasher screeched loudly, spitting blood about. He practically jumped to his feet, then roared and charged, his feet pounding against the ground loudly.

(You clamped down on his arm, his hand down its throat, where its tongue was :/)

The Leader landed on all four's when the Slasher got close enough, he launched himself up and into its waist, flipping the charging undead over his back, the leader falling onto it when it landed....

The Slasher grunted as the leader landed on him. He snarled again, struggling fiercely. He raised his blades a bit...

The Leader let out a rattling his before rolling off of the Slasher and away, haunched over on all four's claws digging into the ground for traction. Attacking when the Slasher was like that could mean getting impaled...he would wait until opportunity presented itself..

The Berserker, having finished his assimilator meal, hears a tussle nearby. The Berserker thumps over to where the source of the noice is, chunks of rock being sent flying as the large, bipedal beast makes its way over to the source of the noice........

The Slasher snarled loudly when the leader rolled off. Then, he rolled onto his knees and stood up, facing the leader. He waited again. While the leader had his speed, the Slasher had his strength and blades. Then, he looked up when he saw the debris come flying. He hunched down and rolled to the side, the debris skidding where he had once been. He looked over at the leader, then the Berserker.

(Yeah I know about the only OOC post thing. I got a warning for it.)

OOC: Okay. Just wanted to tell you.

The Berserker makes it to the source of the noice. About 100 feet from where the berserker was standing 2 zombies (the slasher and the leader) fighting for what seemed over nothing. Hungry, the berserker lets out a loud screech and charges towards the two of them, planning to make a meal out of one.......

Faced with another enemy, The Leader gets up to his feet and bellows angrilly, the members of his hive near the area storming back to the site. Without a thought to the new commer, the Leader lunges over the Slasher, grabbing an arm and wrenching it, a snap sounding soon after. The leader hit the ground in a roll and quickly spun about to see the arm he grabbed hanging awkwardly, broken. If the Slasher didnt retreat, it would be surely killed...
