Godzilla E-War

Where good and bad RPGs and E-wars go to die.

Bane nodded, backing away a bit so that he was better concealed by the hill, before diving underground, using a subtle flow of atomic energy to melt away the rock to reduce the amount of disturbance he caused, directing himself to one side of the fight, keeping a steady distance from them to give room for combat. once he'd found a good position, he'd stop, and wait for a transmission from A-mec...

by now, the flames and sparks on Horus' torso had stopped, and twisted metal panels on the inside had been returned to their previous positions as the reactor within his chest modified the structures of the metals he had consumed to turn them into more effective armour material and adhesives as the space titanium armour was repaired internally. the Life Support systems had by this point isolated the parts being repaired from the organic injuries, Horus closing his eyes as golden streaks streamed along the grooves in his armour. he had consumed enough material to fuel the repairs for now, but he knew he would need more....the repair process was long and costly in resources. more than 35% of common steel was unusable for armour repair. that 35% would be channeled into armory replenishment, but that still left Horus needing to consume nearly ten times as much as he would were it pure space titanium he was consuming...for now the Dragon stood silently to let the cybernetic equipment within him repair the damage from the battle...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"

The unnatural speed allowed Aeonus to avoid most of the rocks, while the others were simply obliterated by both the shield and the force in which it was moving, minimizing damage. The otherworldly being stopped to the side of the machine, before rocketing over its head, part of its head being overlapped by the shield, the metal being blackened by the energy burn, even though it was only exposed for a few seconds, Aeonus stopping on the machine's opposite side...

The Bantha suddenly slung one of it's arms out, it's chain mounted saw blade swinging out, flashing through the air and slicing by the monster's shield, the energy held around the blade lashing out into the invisible shield... The Bantha turning with the movement to face it.

The machine would find its blade mangled and burnt, the violent, protective energies of the shield bombarding any foreign objects, unless Aeonus himself held it back. Aeonus, now stationary, stared endlessly at the machine, its eyes beginning to glow brighter...

The damaged blade locked back into place and the Bantha stepped back, bracing itself and firing a spray of hornet missiles, the AGM sized rockets pelting the being above....

Daedulus replied "A day or two ago. We believe something is launching an attack on the planet. "

MKG was thoughtful of what Deadulus had informed him about the current situation on the planet. Something was making itself a menace and it was currently unidentifiable, which would make it all the more dangerous. He responded to Deadulus:"What was one of the indications you saw that this unknown foe is attacking the planet?"

Daedulus replied gravely "Massive energy bursts all over the globe, followed by mass reaction by GDF. From what information we've managed to scrape up, a lone aggressor is popping up repeatedly in short strikes, and is mostly reconning resistence

MKG, who had now reached the coast of Tanzania, thought over what Deadulus had told him about the signs of the unknown agressor. He now realized that this enemy was more cunning than he had thought at first if it was recruiting monsters to aid it's cause. This was something that made him realize that convincing another monster to aid him was not only important for aiding him in missions given to him, but also to keep at least one monster from being convinced to side with the cause of the new enemy. The dragon replied:"I see. I have reached the coast of Tanzinia and am currently heading toward the location a monster that is at the eastern edge of Zambia. I see the importance of convincing this monster to be my ally and not an ally of this unknown attacker.*

A creaking could be heard as the blue scorpian like robot scittered back to Osiris' fallen form. His tail was wrapped about a peice of metal, welded onto a rusty red sheet of zinc that was bent at four corners to make a container. Inside there was an asorted pile of metalic debris, supported by two large, vaguely circular metal parts that served as wheels, a rod penetrating them at roughly central points and a small bit of metal welded onto both sides of the rod via the laser like weapon in the Duvan'Rah's tail. Reaching his fallen comrade, the scorpian put the make shift wagon's handle on the ground. His tail arced back over his head, taking its normal stance. Then he parted his pincers, the multi-barrelled guns sliding into place. The scorpian pointed them to the sky and fired off a few shots, the loud bangs announcing his pressence.

Without replying, both Mekku and Rekku's idol's began to glow, dark shadows sneaking out towards the pile of debris. After a few moments of silence, the scrap suddenly flashed and rose up out of the container, random strips zipping out and slamming into Placentra without warning, flashes of sparks and beam's shining from the two 'Cogs' welding and bolting. Within moments, rough gauntlets had been worked onto the scorpion's pincers, hanging beneath the claws. More thin purple beams lanced into the crude device, the Duvan'rah builders quickly converting and morphing the metal into whatever they needed. When they finished, the gauntlet's ends had been replaced with dull orange dome's pulsing rings of energy glowing up around them.

Mekku said simply, transmitting to the other machine "Grav guns. Enjoy. Bring us a bus, ASAP."

Daedulus replied "Good. Report back when you have completed your objective."

Placentra raised his arms up, his pitch black eye twisting slightly to look at the devices that hung from them. A buldge of Placentra's bioarmor formed behind the guns, pushing them forward as his gatling guns retracted back into his limbs, the grav guns replacing them in the center of his claws. His pincers slammed into the sides of the guns, bioarmor stretching out about them. The orange glow suddenly became bright blue. "I think...super gravgun would be more appropriate..." Placentra said, turning to his container and firing a thin blue- white beam into it, lifting it up and droppng it. The scorpian turned back towards the city, looking for a city bus- if he couldnt find one..he'd...improvise...

The projectiles slammed into the invisible shielding, Aeonus becoming a blur as he circled around the machine, lashing out at it from behind, stabbing one tendril into its metallic hide, siphoning energy out of its body, the limb extending just past the shield, though signs of singeing could be see on the metal...

The Bantha held fast, the tendril caught in it's tough spines, not having reached it's actual hull which was hidden beneath. The compact machine twisted around, pivoting on one foot before grabbing the tendril with one hand, holding for a moment before forcefully yanking it down towards the ground with both hands, trying to either down the monster or rip the limb off, taking extra care to avoid the shield.

A-mec, watching the scene, broadcast to the rest of the squadron "Open fire."

Rothgar emerged from the ground, bursting out of the rock far away from the Bantha and readying it's weapons. Slypher flashing out of the clouds in the distance, preparing to release the energy it had been building up...

Flying onward and now in Zambia, MKG spotted a moving shape in the distance with the vision of his mechanical head. Zooming in on what he could see, he saw that it was in fact a massive centipede, with four insectoid arms on it's body. Checking the data base he had of monsters encountered, he eventually found a match on the creature and inwardly, felt a surge of suprise. The creature he saw matched the apperance of Megapede, who was also a PWNT creation similair to him. However, the multi legged beast and it's brother had apperantly perished when the ship being used to transport them had sunk. Yet the dragon could see for himself that this was clearly Megapede, very much alive and far larger than at the time the ship had sunk. Deciding that this creature would be a good ally, the cyborg began to move closer, never taking his eyes away from where he knew it was...

Placentra scittered through the desolate streets. The side walk and road had cracks abound, grass poking up through them. Cars were over turned and debris was abundant. The robotic scorpian moved over a pile of concrete and down the road, quickly coming to a ravine. A large chunk was missing from the street...and part of a building. Underlying pipes were exposed and were long broken, a pool of rancid water filling in the gap. Placentra turned to his right. A telephone pole stood tall. The wires had been snapped and the pole its self had been worn over time, but it was opportune. The scorpian's tail began to morph as his laser moved into place. He fired into the concrete at the pole's base. He moved his tail about as he cut a circle in the sidewalk, careful not to ignite the wood with the weapon. Using the grav guns now, Placentra lifted the pole out of the incision and released, the pole teetering precariously. The scorpian fired the thin beam from his right arm mounted gun, tilting the pole over the ditch and letting it fall forward. There was a loud bang when the pole slammed onto parked car, pancaking the roof and blowing out the windows. The scorpian stepped onto the make shift bridge and move across, careful as to not make it roll over...

Megapede was moving through the jungle when out of the corner of his left eye, he saw something in the air and it seemed to be coming closer to him. Bringing his head and the sections behind it to face in the direction of what he had seen, he saw a cybernetic, three headed dragon in the sky. Once the dragon was several meters away, it stopped flying and let itself drop to the jungle floor. The centipede reared up and let out a warning hiss at this newcomer, knowing that something like this could only have been the result of human work. The bipedal creature let out a chuckle and hissed:"Don't be afraid of me. If I were here to harm you, I would have done so before you had a chance to realize I was here." Megapede looked into the organic eyes of the dragon's other two heads and he couldn't see any sign of agression in them. Even so, he didn't intend to let his guard down. The mandibled giant hissed:"If you're not here to try and kill me, then what is your purpose for locating me?" The dragon growled:"I'm here to make an agreement that will allow both of us to benefit, Megapede." At the mention of his name by this stranger, Megapede felt a surge of suprise. Careful to keep a limited amount of suprise to his voice, he hissed:"What kind of deal would a cyborg that is most likely serving humans make with me and how do you know my name?" The cyborg growled:"In answer to your first question, while it is true that I am serving humans, they have shown me that they don't seem to want to kill all monsters. Prior to my arrival here, I could have easily been ordered to kill several monsters, yet I only was commanded to attack a monster that was attacking a city. As for your second question, I know your name because we were both created by a group of humans and they had information both about your creation and what they seemed to think was your death." Megapede hadn't forgotten about his creation or the day in which he managed to escape from his creators and had begun to live his own life, free to make his own choices. He hissed:"I admit that I was indeed created by humans. However, they seem to have underestimated my if they think that I perished when that vehicle of theirs used to transport me sank into the ocean."

Aeonus grunted, the shield shifting forward, engulfing the machine's arm, the bombardment of searing energy forcing it to release the tendril before any harm could be done, the strange being flexing the limb as if to inspect it. "You piles of scrap are quite persistent..." it murmured, rising higher, putting more distance between it and its current combatant. Head crest flaring with energy, Aeonus launched another attack at the machine, the chaotic energies aging anything they touched...

MKG growled to Megapede:"My offer to you is this:Aid me in my missions that i'm given and in exchange for that, I will assist you against any enemies you may have. If you accept, then you'll have an ally who is willing to assist you in these times in which monsters are often worried about the humans.* The centipede was silent for a few minutes, thinking over what he had been offered. Though he wasn't been one of the more aggressive monsters, he was still aware of the threat the the GDF posed and highly doubted another monster would aid him against that threat if he was attacked. This cyborg, though, offered to aid him in return for his aid to it. He hadn't seen any indication of a lie in the cyborg's organic eyes, which was enough for him to decide that he should accept. Megapede hissed:"I accept your offer. However, if I find any indication that you're planning to betray me, I won't hessitate to fight back.* The dragon nodded and growled:"Then I'll prove to you that I have no intentions of trying to double cross you." He then messaged Deadulus:"I have succesfully recruited a monster as an ally."

As the robot continued through the demolished city, eye looking for his target, a gruff snarl caught his attention. He stopped moving. His laser was still primed to fire when needed. The scorpian's legs scuttled about as he began to turn in place, doing a full circle to find what ever made the noise. Something caught his attention, moving about the wreckage strewn about the streets and into an alley way. There was a scratching noise behind, causing Placentra to snap his body about, catching a glimpse of black coarse fur and a tail that snapped about like a whip but resembled a worm, the creature disappearing into a building. The scorpian's eye stared after it. Then, a loud screech resonated from behind him. Placentra's tail quickly swung backwards, the cyan beam firing out from the weapon mounted on it. A pained yelp followed by a thud sounded. The scorpian turned around to see what could be best described as an abomination. It was about the size of a large dog, rat like fur and tail. It had four legs, but had strange tentacle like structures petruding from their feet. Probably an adaptation, as it had no eyes, in their place were large bumps, the bone underneath them especially thick. Their jaws were like a snake's, able to open to a large angle, but instead of teeth, there was a sharp black beak like structure at the very tip of the mouth. Its mouth was closed, so the scorpian couldnt tell if it had teeth. From behind a pile of rubble came another, this one with one, dark red eye. The other was replaced with the strange tentacles that were on the fallen creature's feet. This one's overall skull sturcture was that of a rat's. There were large fang like teeth that petruded from the bottom jaw, curving about the side of the mutant's face. "So...these creatures evolve independantly in the same enviroment and not as a whole species...extraordinary. Humans make their planet hell and while they fight their battles, the creatures spawned have evolutionary traits unseen before.." Placentra noted to himself. From what he had gathered, evolution of animals took millions of years or more, creatures branching off and becoming new, more adaptive animals to deal with the enviroment they lived. These creatures though, have probably been rappidly changing ever since their first generation got mutated, what caused said mutations, was beyond the robot's knowledge. The creature leapt into the air like a wolf, soaring at Placentra, who quickly fired his grav gun into it, blowing the creature back through the air. The scorpian's tail swung forward as the laser fired, slicing the creature in two when the beam passed over it. Having stored a picture of the creature, he ran a rappid search to see what documented animal resmbled it, natrually finding rats to be the most likely creature to have been what the creatures evolved from. It made sense- this was a city and rats are abundant in large populations. However, as Placentrea realized, rats live in large groups. The scorpian quickly sped off from the site, intending to leave before a hoarde of the mutants were drawn to the area...
