More Droid Starfighters emerged from the Frigates, swarming towards the arrow ship and literally making a wall of metal to block and overwhelm the point defense systems, while the destroyers continued attacking the ship's flank and the Frigates continued to batter the barge, threatening to bring it down...

The landing craft settled down on the pad, its single, pillar-like landing strut opening sideways to let out a small column of B1s, and a single Droid Commando at their head. The commando rested his rifle on his shoulder casually, saying, "Well? Where are the slaves?"

The arrow ship's shield held fast against the bombardment, its own allied fighters still engaging the TGDA counterparts, while its point defenses made short work of the fighters in front of it, moving around to face one of the destroyers, as the other barge continued to take evasive action...

"The others will be here shortly." the man said, smiling widely. "May I take a seat inside your craft? My legs are very sore from all this walking. We had to cross the entire city to get here." he continued, his voice shifting pitch with each sentence.

Sassk's ship, meanwhile, had moved around behind the enemy ships once it had retreated into its own ranks, and immediately attack the Barge from behind, pounding its weakened shields with close-range turbolaser fire, even while the Frigates still pounded it from the front. The destroyers split, each one arcing around one side of the arrow ship, still firing incessantly, their shields protecting them from the enemy fighters and the arrow ship's point defense systems...

The commando stared at the man for a moment, thinking. Something didn't add up in the intelligent droid's electronic brain. This so-called human slave didn't seem to speak like a human, and it was certainly clean for a slave. However, he doubted this alien could do anything to try and escape. There was only one droid able to pilot the ship, who could be remotely shut down from the flagship or the commando himself, and security cameras inside the landing craft itself recorded everything that went on. Eventually, the commando nodded. "Go ahead inside, but I'll keep an eye on you, so no funny business." The B1s outside would stand guard until the rest of the slaves arrived, if they did at all...

The main weapon of the arrow ship fired once more, the three-stage weapon smashing into the tail end of one of the Destroyer's in a desperate attempt to attack, the combination of the EMP and explosive waves forcing its shield to drop, while the cutting red energy almost completely carved the craft in two.

As the barge was overwhelmed, the arrow ship sent one last message to the TGDA: "You...have doomed this galaxy. Soon, you will realize your mistake..."

The man nodded to the machine, still smiling, as he walked into the landing craft...

A small metal form floated through the air above the blackened ground, moving toward the landing pad. The small machine began yelling toward the TGDA personnel. "NO! Don't let them in! STOP!"

The cruiser descended to just 100 feet off the ground, the wind left in its wake blowing sand about from under it. There were dark forms on the horizon. Unatrual structures that contrasted with th surrounding dunes. Buildings. The craft continued on towards the sun drenched city. It was a known spot for refugees and criminals alike. Still, the ship's pilot expected to have been contacted by airway officials... the fact that he wasnt added to the sense of lawlessness this place had to offer. Though, lawless was far from what he wanted.

It was a while ago, back on the DepthCharge. The craft had landed on another backwater world on the edge of the universe it seemed. The planet was dead, a dusty crator riddled surface. Its reddish soil was uncanny to mars, though a sickley green atmosphere was a stark difference. A small settlement of space farers was where Kystion's ship docked. The pirates aboard the craft lived secretly. They sold their stolen goods in the black market, taking advantage of the desperation of their patrons. Other pirates had set up shop on the planet, and they regarded it as their territory. They drew up their plans against the newcommers, and struck while they didnt expect it. The violent pirates not only plunder the depth charge when it was preparing a jump to hyper drive, they captured the crew, using strange constraints. Deactivated, the devices seemed to be nothing but a large metal ring, but once activated, the ring formed some sort of energy beam that rendered the restrained limbs numb and unable to move. Only Kystion and his first mate were able to escape being caught- for a few moments. In the pod bay of the DepthCharge, Kystion was activating the escape pods, his silver scaled friend guarding the entrance to the room. "Escape pod ready- common!" The Ascatian pirate growled to his friend, just as dents began to appear in the locked door, thuds resonating through out the room from the impacts. "They're trying to ram their way in!" Kystion's first mate yelled. "Go!" He barked to Kystion. "Im the captain here- now come on!"
"They can easilly break down the door at this rate! By time we get in they could break in and jam the launch sequence before it can deploy!"
"So how the hell are you going to get off this ship!?" Kystion snarled. There was a moment of silence between him and his silver counterpart, only the thuds breaking the quiet. "Go on!" The silver alien yelled as a hole was blown in from the door. The silver alien, armed witha blaster, unloaded shots through the opening, hoping to keep the attackers at bay. Kystion, with a heavy heart got into the black capsule like pod, its door swinging closed behind him. It went down a conveyer until is locked into a hole. Not long after, the pod was jettisoned into space, the capsule breaking apart around the ship's cruiser. It twisted about in the blackness. "Kystion!" his first mate yelled over the ship's communicator system. "I activated the self destruct! Get far away-"
"You what?!" The Ascatian yelled as the ship's autopilot innitiated, blasting off and away from the ship, the sounds of blasters firing about in the room being replaced by static. There was no hearing the explosion in the vaccum of space. Just feeling the pressure wave slam ino the small cruiser. And just like that, his crew- his only friends in the galaxy- in the universe...were gone. An electronic voice, speaking in the universal tongue said "State your race"
"Ascatian" Kystion replied. There was a beep, before the once dark displays lit up, showing different forms of data, one being the coordinates of the desert planet.

In the time it took to reach...Kystion had decided to swear off a life of piracey... to find something more... he just didnt know what that something was...

The B1s milled about, confused at this sudden change of events. Knowing something was wrong at the start, however, the commando reacted swiftly. Grabbing the back of the man's neck, the commando threw him roughly back out of the landing craft, the landing strut closing immediately after. Raising his rifle, the commando barked, "Both of you, halt and identify yourselves!" The rest of the droids raised their weapons as well, while the landing craft prepared a self-destruct code if necessary...

The destroyer was torn apart, the two halves of the relatively thin ship floating dead in space. Sassk sent a furious message to the arrow ship: "Would you just explain what's going on?! You don't want to doom the galaxy, and neither do we. Instead of trying to blow us to pieces, how about peaceful negotiations for once? It'd be a nice change of pace to what we've dealt with in the past."

"We are Erratic Adaptive Transformation Entity Reavers numbers 373 through 1,274! And that is not a human!" the small floating machine made its way to the landing pad, small areas around its central "eye" red with panic. As the man hit the ground, it reached over with one arm, completely tearing its own limb off, before hurling it onto the top of the landing craft. "You are too late TRAITOR!" it growled, its voice suddenly very mechanical and unnatural...

"There is...no negotiation. What is held on this planet must never leave...it must never be exposed to space-faring vessels...or the entire galaxy will suffer." the arrow-ship responded, its voice very weak, considering the voice was of the actual ship itself, rather then any pilot...

The commando opened fire on the machine, pounding it with blasterfire, as did the B1s, the sheer amount of blasterfire shredding its metal body...

Sassk was about to respond when he got news of the fight below. "I'm guessing whatever's down there is what my troops are currently shooting at?" he asked.

The ship soared into the city limits, slowing down as it entered, metal panels underneath it sliding apart, revealing hover thrusters that fired up, the craft descending to the ground below slowly, sand blowing around from underneath it, the wings segmenting again and contracting. Metal rods descended from the three corners of the triangular ship. The prods dug into the ground, sand sifting around them. The hover thrusters cut out with one final puff of flames. There was then a mechanical hum. A section of the hull lowered, the panel forming a ramp. Looking up, one could see a dull red glow eminating from within the craft. The thumps of footsteps soon followed as someone walked down the craft and stepped onto the ramp. Walking into the light of day, was Kystion, the former pirate in a dark blue suit. It was custom made for him, as it had slits to accomodate his dorsal fin, and the fins on the back of his limbs. He had a black helmet on, the visor being orange tinted. His hands were gloved in black leather, and his feet protected by large, black boots, which sank into the sand once he stepped onto the ground...

As the blaster bolts ripped the machine apart, its disguise was dropped, now an exact replica of the human skeleton, though made of metal. The small orb-like machine sighed. "Oh dear..." it sighed, just as the metal parts of the humanoid machine began to break down before their eyes, its dismembered limb on the roof of the craft having disappeared already...

"You have troops down there? How did they get to the planet?!" the craft replied hastily...

Kystion surveyed his surroundings. The sun was bright, he could tell that despite the visor. The beings around him were diverse. Some were tall, some were short, some had...four legs..maybe more. Distinct features were hidden by raggy robes to protect against sand storms. His suit seemed to be royal Ascatian robes compared to these creatures. It wasnt good to be set apart, not amongst possible desperados. He raised an arm to look at a watch like device on his wrist, an all purpose remote craft access point and data keeper. He punched in a command, the ship's ramp closing up with a hiss of air, and the ship's cloaking device activate. The ship's form rippled out into invisability. Kystion let his arms hang to his side and he walked off into the city... he literally had to build his life again... finding a place to start would prove difficult...

The commando and B1s scattered as the landing craft triggered its self-destruct mechanism, exploding outward in a gigantic fireball, vaporizing its entire superstructure into nothing but ash. The fireball incinerated a few droids, but the rest were otherwise unharmed...

"A landing craft, which just self-destructed," Sassk replied. "Why? We made plenty of precautions to make sure the ship could not be captured by an enemy."

The small machine rocketed back and forth, shaking its head as best it could. "Its too late. You have left yourselves stranded on this hellhole, and have gained nothing!" it voiced urgently, the color of the panels near its "eye" turning to a sorrowful blue color...

"Pray to whatever god you worship that it was destroyed before any contact was made. Capturing the vessel would've been the least of their concerns." the ship messaged back...

Sassk replied back hotly, "Alright, enough of this! I want some answers, and I want them now! What the hell are you hiding down there, and why don't you want anyone to know?"

The Commando shrugged as he stared at where the landing craft once was. "We'll power down eventually until we can be salvaged. But before we do that, I would really appreciate an explanation." The droid raised his rifle slightly, pointed at the small machine...

"You have been deceived by our siblings! The beacon was meant to provide them with a way to leave...and you have given them just that." the small machine replied, still showing signs of sorrow, as it looked toward the smoldering remains of the landing craft, completely ignoring the weapon pointed at it.

"What almost caused the extinction of our entire order. Ask your leader...if our records are correct-which they are-he knows quite well what you have just unleashed onto the galaxy." the ship replied somewhat smugly...

"What do you mean? The ship is scrap now," the commando said.

"Our leader?" Sassk hissed. "What do you know about our leader?" At the same time, he sent all the information he and the stranded droids had collected to Grievous...

In the middle of the battle, a single, sleek ship had emerged from Slipspace, cloaked from sensors and even normal vision, and it was secretly listening in on the conversation, considering the entire thing was on an open channel...

Kystion walked down the sand covered streets. He had come to some sort of market place, merchant stands set up along both sides of the path, asorted items on sale from varying species of aliens. Some looked like pirates, while others seemed to be native to the planet. Or atleast, adapted to the arrid world. The streets were busting with beings walking up and down, buying and selling, Kystion tried his best to keep out of everyone's way, just passing through as a broken spirit waiting to be mended

"Our siblings, like us, can infiltrate and examine machines with ease. Which also means..." the small machine trailed off, as one of the B1 droids was sent clattering to the ground, its legs beginning to disintegrate before their eyes...

The ship laughed, a very monotone sound. "Do you not understand? We are those who took your precious cyborg from your very Flagship! You tread on the forgotten territory of Shadow Haven!"

The sands sifted away from Kystion's feet. The Ascatian was standing in the shadow of a building. It was just above two stories, with a balconey at the very top floor. There was a canvas like, red sign that hung down from above with alien symbols weaved into it. Kystion raised his arm, the watch like device making a few clicks before a small rod with an oval light mounted at the very top popped out. The light swiveled around to face the sign, then moved upwards, a thin beam of blue light moving across the canvas, scanning it. The rod then popped back into the device, the word "Pub" appearing on the gadget's display in the Ascatian language. The Ascatian wanderer lowered his arm and approached the door, pushing an light yellow wood door open, as it didnt have a watch. There were scratches on the door, from wind abrasion. Upon stepping into the building, the feeling of sand was replaced by a solid wooden floor. Kystion stomped his feet down, ridding his boots of sand on a worn mat before walking past the several occupied tables, moving towards the bar...

The rest of the droids spun around and backed away from the disintegrating B1, who managed to let out a cry of shock before being completely vaporized. The droids raised their rifles, and the commando said, "Alright, then how about you get us the hell out of here?"

Sassk arched a brow. He had witnessed the first attempted invasion of Shadow Haven a long time ago, but this planet... it didn't look like their homeworld at all. "What the hell happened?" was the only thing he sent back. At that time, the Malevolence had arrived out of Hyperspace, near the Frigates, currently captained by OOM-6 while Grievous was away...

Grievous slowed to a stop in the middle of the forest, Lissarkh nearly running right into him. "Grievous, what the he--" "Not now, Lissarkh," Grievous interrupted. "We've got some trouble." He immediately sent a command towards Sassk's ship...
