a white beam of atomic energy slammed into Aeonus' side, Bane trying to break the flow of the enemy's attack long enough for Bantha to escape, as he mentally contacted the others, asking them to help, hoping to overwhelm the alien beast with the joint firepower of them all while it's shield was down...

As Placentra shifted across the pavement in his skating, he slammed a ball bearing foot into a man hole cover, making it flip into the air. He then caught it as he skated on, launching the sewer cover like a frisbee into the incoming robot before leaping into the air, firing a rocket from his launcher...

Aeonus' head seemed to twist around to face the Zilla, maw opening as its own beam was sent rocketing back to it, the energy spraying forth just as long as the zilla itself kept up the attack...

Bane maintained his beam, using it to hold off the deflected beam as well as amplifying it's power, making it harder and harder for the alien beast to hold it back, the part deflected being like a drop of water against a torrent regardless of how much was deflected...

The redirected energy suddenly took on a darker red color, before a new blueish substance was added into the mix, the redirected beam now several times larger then the original. More energy was poured into it, mixing together various raw energies into a volatile weapon, which, upon receiving its final source of energy a few seconds after the process had started, engulfed the entire area around the Zilla in a massive explosion. The explosion, rather then being made up of mostly heat energy, now expanded outward like nuclear explosion, chaotic energies eating away anything it came in contact with, completely unearthing the Zilla in the process, creating a gargantuan crater which appeared to be completely drained of life, the area around the blast, even the soil, was deadened. The blast itself could be seen for several miles...

a booming roar of pain tore out of the center of the explosion, the Zilla crouching low and curving so his head and underside were shielded from the beam, his heavily armoured back glowing white from the heat generated by the alien's beam, the armour holding out for now but steadily being damaged, the explosion surrounding him tearing at his flanks painfully. he hoped the others had something in mind or else things would go down hill very fast for him...he couldn't hold up forever...

2 green missiles curled up to the alien monster, smashing into it's sides, Rothgar having come out into the open momentarily, breaching the ground with his hump to launch the missiles before submerging once more

A-mec fired more rounds from his plasma and bio casters, chambering one of his own missiles to add to the barrage. Slypher moved around Aeonus in an arc, moving above the alien while keeping the distance between them constant.

The Bantha managed to escape underground, still un-aware of what damage had been done by the assault.

Setsus simply dodged to the side, jumping and landing into a slide, the manhole cover and rocket missing. He pushed into a sprint, kicking off of a car and leaping towards Placentra....

As Setsus soared towards him, Placentra aimed the launcher arm dead on the Duvan'Rah, cyan marking along his arm glowing as he fired another rocket into the oncomming robot, blowing it off balance as he fell back to the ground, his spring loaded legs dispersing the force of the landing, which allowed Placentra to shoot down the street before swerving about to look back at the enemy machine...

Releasing a low growl, Setsus landed onto the ground in a roll, rising out if it in a run, his chest glowing orange where the missile hit. Before Placentra could get away, he swung his hand down and ankle tapped him, causing the robot to trip and cartwheel over, the mechanical monkey tackling the stumbling machine and smashing him through a bus in the middle of the street...

Aeonus' dark form seemed to radiate a cyan light for a moment, before all that it could see slowed to a grinding halt. Even in places far from the battle had stopped completely. The shadowy form floated through the still air, even inanimate objects stopped dead, various projectiles now hung unnaturally in mid-motion, intending to strike the alien being, no doubt. Aeonus stopped overhead of one of the attackers, who had hidden itself throughout the battle. "You cannot hide from death." the alien being boomed, shadowy tendrils snaking out of its form, wrapping around the neck, arms, and legs of the raptor-like mech. Just as everything seemed to return to normal, many organic beings effected would feel a sudden surge of dejavu, while the alien being itself would have appeared to teleport moving at such speeds, yanking each tendrils in different directions, actually hoisting the mech into the air...

A wild sparkled low screech emitted from A-mec, the machine convulsing, the cracking and thumping of buckling metal echoing around him. The machine's fields flashed wildly. His plasma caster swiveled around, firing a shot into one of the tendrils, the bio caster doing the same, trying to free himself. his tail also swung around, it's blade flashing through the wispy tendrils with no effect.

Slypher held it's fire, circling above. It couldn't risk hitting A-mec. It broke off, moving towards the city at a relatively low speed.

Rothgar and the Bantha had already broken off, retreating underground in secret.

Placentra's wrist blade slid out of his palm, his tree fingers locking in around its base. He stabbed it into one of Setsus' arms holding him before slamming his feet down on the ground. His spring loaded legs sent the robot into the air and out of Setsus' grip, though unbalanced. He twisted as he found himself tilting in mid air, aiming his launcher at the ground infront of the monkey-mech and firing, the explosion should throw Setsus off while he came in for a hard landing no doubt...

Bane snarled. this was getting ridiculous. against all that firepower and the creature was barely flinching. and now it was practically trying to rip A-Mec apart. snarling, the Beast leapt, unleashing his beam at the ground as he dove into the molten rock, using the beam to help speed his movement to a safer position. he needed to help free A-Mec...

"Your allies...have abandoned you. You are but only a pawn, controlled by forces unseen. This planet's demise is absolute; there is nothing you can do to stop it." Aeonus boomed to the machine it held in its grasp, speaking more to its masters then it. With a merciless pull, the alien being ripped off an arm and a leg of the mech, the lack of grip allowing it to crash back to the ground, while the limbs were hurled elsewhere like trash.

Bane surfaced a fair distance away to one side of the alien beast. he had made sure to be subtle in his resurfacing so as not to attract attention. what he saw, disturbed him. A-Mec lay on the ground, missing two limbs, the limbs tossed aside as if they were nothing, and all other PWNT agents were missing. Bantha and Rothgar were nowhere to be seen, most likely having burrowed, and Slypher was a mere speck in the distance above the city, undoubtedly heading for it. Bane silently cursed. without the others to support him there would be nothing to keep the alien from doing to him what it did to A-Mec. and him being organic, it'd be alot less survivable. after a few moments of chaotic thought, he finally made the difficult decision to wait rather than try and help A-Mec....at least until he knew where the other two had gone. he attempted contact, the question coming as a single word. "Location" came the message to the two subterranian PWNT weapons...

A-mec clattered to the ground, sparks and flame issuing out of the damaged areas. The machine raised it's head, visor crackling. It's field amplifiers flashed purple...

The dismembered limbs begun disintegrating, key parts flashing purple and being dragged back into the mechanical raptor, salvaging anything that wasn't too damaged and destroying the rest. It managed to utter out, buzzing in a drawn electronic voice "It is you who is abandoned, alien. If this world is to be our graves, then it shall be yours too."

Rothgar and the Bantha both remained silent, maintaining radio silence.

Dragonfly contacted MKG, her air ship high in the sky "MKG, getting side tracked here. What would you say to a little hunting? Something's come up, could be related to the creature we mentioned."

MKG responded:"I wouldn't mind hunting down what it is that is sidetracking you." He then growled to Megapede:"We may be in luck of finding out something about the unknown creature. The human in the vehicle doesn't know what it is we are going to locate, though." Megapede hissed:"Whatever it is we are to find may not know anything about the creature we're trying to find out about, but if the human wants us to locate whatever it is we are to find now, it might prove important to us."

"I have destroyed many races before yours, machine. And I will destroy many more when this is done." Aeonus boomed, a tendril, bulkier then the rest, smashing the mech's head with one swift blow, disabling many of its functions, including silencing the machine. "Let this be an example to you all. The destruction of this world is inevitable; those who do not embrace this greater path, will become victims of its passing. Accept your fate, and make peace with your god." the alien creature boomed, its voice audible for miles, before it completely disappeared in a flash of light. The creatures, as well, had vanished...

Bane emerged as soon as the creature disappeared, bolting towards the fallen mech, skidding to a hault. he looked down at his fallen friend and snarled. It's too damned strong...and the others just ran...when they could've helped free him at least he thought. it was the logical move considering nothing was working and there was no guarantee that attacking it wouldn't simply make them targets for the same treatment. it was, afterall, one reason he didn't attack himself after they left. but still....with their combined firepower they could've at least stopped it....what made them run? the beast's mind was in turmoil...

Dragonfly replied "A monster has popped up around the Cape of Good Hope, doesn't exist on any records and has been drawing quite a bit of attention. We'd like you to silence it. We've got facilities in that area and cannot risk the GDF or PWNT arriving and discovering them."

his sensors all out of commission, A-mec simply lay there, his back up systems deducing that it was safest to wait for repairs to come to him. There was nothing he could do without risking more harm.

With a chain of thundering sonic booms, Slypher suddenly jumped forward, crossing the huge distance with a few seconds before slowing to normal speeds a few hundred meters infront of A-mec and Bane. It dropped to the ground at A-mec's side, landing onto all fours, tail curling in the air behind it. Two lamp like sensors slid out from the side of it's head, red ray beams scanning A-mec's fallen form....

Carrying his momentum forward, Setsus fell through the explosion and rolled out the other side, fire licking his armour. He quickly pivoted around, keeping his centre of gravity low and recovering. His claws were glowing red hot from the friction generated in cutting into Placentra's armour as his foe leapt out of his grip, steam wafting off of them lazily.

The agile machine suddenly pounced like a cat, claws out stretched and soaring through the smoke of the explosion, towards the fallen Placentra...
