Suddenly, the Tyrant Xeno leaped out from behind his cover, but did not attack. Having seen the spear, he decided to let Pred-1 make the move, crouching down and keeping himself ready to leap...

Seeing as the Tyrant was ready to fight, but didn't charge forward, Pred-1 was content to lure the beast toward him, firing his maser cannon at the mutant...

Leaping to the side of the Maser, the Tyrant Xeno spat a stream of acid at Pred-1's right shoulder cannon. He wasn't foolish enough to come in too close to the mech while the spear was extended, although if the stalemate didn't end soon, he would get closer, but would advance with caution...

Again, Pred-1 expertly twisted his body so that the acid zipped past, waiting with a patience only a machine could be capable of for the Tyrant to draw nearer...

Still unwilling to come to close to Pred-1, the Tyrant Xeno suddenly charged forward, only to suddenly plants his heals on the ground and stop himself before he got too close to the mech, spitting a stream of acid onto it's head...

Pred-1 spun his spear in front of him at high speed, scattering the acid before it could hit anything potentially damaging. Now that the Tyrant was closer, the mech retaliated with his shoulder cannons again, peppering the Xeno with rapid-fire plasma shots...

Hissing in anger from the shots, the Tyrant Xeno charged forward on all fours. Once he was at the distance he wanted, he planted the heels of his hands and feet into the ground, stopping himself while his tail whipped forward, knocking one of Pred-1's feet out from under him...

Pred-1 stumbled backwards, nearly toppling backwards, before suddenly stabbing his spear into the ground, using it as a pole to vault through the air, landing on his feet a short distance away, spear in hand. He fired his shoulder cannons again, this time shooting charged shots, though at this range they would still be difficult to dodge...

The Tyrant Xeno was unable to dodge the charged shots, but he wasn't finished yet. Having been following Pred-1 with his head when he saw the mech leap into the air, the monster released a particularly long stream of acid when the mech landed, much of it getting onto Pred-1's shoulders while the Tyrant crouched down, seemingly getting ready to charge again...

Pred-1 immediately shook himself like a dog, powerfully scattering the acid before it could damage his tough armor too much. Seeing the Tyrant crouch, Pred-1 charged forward, thrusting his spear at the Xeno's crested head...

[Iceking]

Seeing Pred-1 charge at him, the Tyrant Xeno side stepped the stab before he grabbed onto the spear with his hands and pulled, bringing Pred-1's head and main body close to him. Opening his jaws, the monster's inner jaws shot out, hitting the metallic being in the head...

Pred-1 staggered back, sparks flying from the hit. The mech's vision went static for a moment before he recovered. Stepping back, he fired his shoulder cannons' charged shots yet again, trying to damage the monster as much as possible from a safe distance...

[Iceking]

The Tyrant Xeno was hit by some of the shots, 3 of his head spikes being blown from the ones that hit his head. Snarling, he quickly leapt to the side of the rest of the shots spat a stream of acid onto Pred-1 again, moving in closer after he had spat...

Pred-1 rolled forward, under the incoming acid, and in one deft move stood back up, thrusting his spear at the Tyrant Xeno's shoulder...

[Iceking]

The Tyrant Xeno, having expected that the spear would eventually be used, side stepped most of the weapon, but it still grazed his shoulder, cutting the exo skeleton. With an angry hiss, the monster suddenly darted forward, swinging his tail at Pred-1...

OOC: he didn't throw the spear. He just stabbed with it.

Pred-1 reared back and swatted the tail to the side with his spear before stepping forward again, aiming for the Xeno's other shoulder this time...

Side stepping the second attempt to stab him completley this time, the Tyrant took advantage of the close range, spitting acid onto Pred-1's head...

At this range, Pred-1 had no chance of dodging the acid, but he did manage to shake it off. He spun around, now at point-blank range, passing his spear to his left hand and simultaneously slashing the Tyrant across the chest with his wrist blades again. The mech stepped back as he made the slash, spinning the spear in preparation for a counterattack...

[Iceking]

The Tyrant snarled from the slash to his chest, but it wasn't life threatining yet. Crouching down on all fours to keep the wound safe from attacks, the Xeno hissed as if daring the mech to make it's move...

Pred-1 stood where he was, still spinning the spear, but his right shoulder cannon suddenly fired, peppering the Tyrant with plasma...
