[Iceking]

Hearing the shots hit the sky scrapper, the Tyrant darted away from it, hiding behind another building, but letting Pred-1 get a brief glimpse at him before he did so...

Pred-1 fired more charged shots as the Tyrant dove behind his new cover, trying to drive the beast into the open, before he was forced to land because of depleted fuel...

[Iceking]

The Tyrant Xeno felt one of the shots miss him by inches as he took cover again. Once he was behind cover, he began to wait. The mech's jets had to be fueled by some kind of energy source and nothing lasted permenently, that was something the best knew...

Pred-1 continued bombarding the Tyrant's cover, the powerful bolts of plasma literally plowing straight through the building...

The Tyrant darted from behind the building and out into the open, but rather than stopping, he kept running, soon getting underneath the shadow of Pred-1, where the should cannon shots would be unable to hit him...

Pred-1 suddenly deactivated his jets, timing his fall so that he slammed feet-first into the Tyrant as it passed under him. Using the collapsing Xeno as a springboard, Pred-1 leaped into the air, did a front flip, and landed with his wristblades and missile launcher extended, firing a cluster of missiles at the fallen Tyrant...

Rolling to the side, the Tyrant let the missles explode where he had been before suddenly charging as if he intended to ram, only to suddenly plant his heels into the ground and spit acid over Pred-1's head. The monster had seen the effects his acid was taking on the head part of the machine and the metal was getting weakened by the corrosive substance...

Pred-1 instinctively ducked under the acid, firing more missiles at the Tyrant to try and drive the beast off or get it closer. Hopefully, it would simply run out of acid at some point...

[Iceking]

Leaping to the side of the missles, the Tyrant suddenly spat acid low and high at Pred-1, intending to do this to minimize it's options of dodging...

Prd-1 sidestepped, pressing his back against a building and letting the pass by. One shot grazed him, but did little to his tempered armor. Getting back into a combat stance, he waited for the Tyrant to make another move...

The Tyrant Xeno, annoyed with Pred-1 being stubborn in not coming in too close, crouched down on all fours, his tail arching upward like that of a scorpion. Charging forward, he made it seem as though he were going to try and collide with Pred-1, but suddenly sprang into the air when he was close enough, spitting acid downward as he flew over the mech and grabbed onto the building with his hands before letting go, dropping down toward the machine...

Pred-1, satisfied that his tactic had worked and predicting the Tyrant's feint, the mech rolled forward, under the acid, and stood, spinning around as the Xeno hit the ground where he had been standing moments earlier. Taking a large step forward, Pred-1 lunged, aiming an uppercut combined with his wrist blades at the Tyrant's chin...

[Iceking]

The Tyrant, having seen the movent of the arms, slammed his right arm into the arm that was coming to uppercut him, knocking it off course. However, the Wristblades still found their mark, piercing into his lower jaw. A screech of pain came from the Xenomorph, but he raised his tail and within the blink of an eye, stabbed it into Pred-1's chest...

The tail blade pierced Pred-1's Sonic Cannon, but didn't go any deeper, protecting his vital areas. Knowing that he wouldn't be able to take much more, he pulled out his spear with his free hand and stabbed the Tyrant in his chest wound, simultaneously driving the wrist blades deeper into the Xeno's jaw...

[Iceking]

Shrieking in agony, the Tyrant managed to use his free hand to force the spear out of his wound, but even then, knew that he would eventually die from the injury. At the same time, he managed to raise his tail once more, stabbing the blade into Pred-1's damaged optic in an effort to force it to pull out it's wirst blades and leave...

Pred-1 staggered back again, pulling his wrist blades out and shaking his head, hitting it with the palm of his metal hand to try and clear the static...

[Iceking]

As the mech staggered back, the Tyrant took advantage of it shaking it's head to burrow underground, heading back for the hive. Though he had been unable to drive away or destroy Pred-1, he had caused it enough damage that would at least keep it away from the hive and most importantly, the queen, for some time...

Pred-1, hearing the rumbling of the Tyrant's burrowing fading as it retreated, activated his jets and took off, limping back to GDF HQ with the fuel he had left to warn them of the threat...

[Iceking]

This fight was...far longer than I expected and was getting boring. It was kind of similar to the Thundertooth vs Enigma battle, in which the Tyrant and Pred-1 were just trying to lure each other into a certain distance or in their elements where they would have the advantage.

Yeah, I was reading it and I got bored halfway through it.
