lol. this'll either be the most unusual thing you've ever heard, or the most normal thing you've ever heard, depending on how you use armours.

Ceantaur Helm Z, Ceantaur Mail Z, Silver Sol Vambraces Z, Ceantaur Tasset Z, Silver Sol Greaves Z. gemmed so that i have ESP and Sharpness +1. those two abilities are a staple in my armours...whatever i use, i make sure i have them...makes hunting much less annoying and much more effective...

KP:I don't find it that odd. I'm using a mixed armor set myself to have the Sharpness plues 1 skill.

good to know there are other mixed armour users around. aside from my friend here in Kuwait [he's the guy who got me into MH in the first place. he's recently moved onto Tri and i'm waiting patiently for MHF3 to come out so i'll have a hunting partner again :P ] and IIRC TT occasionally, i don't know anyone who uses mixed armour. seems people worry too much about looks to exploit uses... :\

...Usually, mixed armor means less skills, because not all armor gives the same skills.

Like, Rathalos armor has (Not really, just hypothetically) sharpness +2 for each pieces, attack + 2 for each piece, and hearing + 2 for each piece. Then another armor set has attack + 2 for each piece, but has two other skills that are completely different.

So ya. You have attack bonus, but you also have 6 or so points in a bunch of skills that you don't use.

Full set equals sharpness increase, attack increase, and hearing increase.

i do well with my new mixed set. granted, it's mostly made up of Yama armour [lots of good traits in it. i'd be an idiot not to make use of my new found fortune :P].

ESP
Sharpness +1 [told you they're a staple :P]
Quick Eating (that pleased me alot, seeing as i HAAAATE the corny, 4-5 second long animation for eating a gourmet steak, and the similarly time consuming animations on other stuff. here, it goes in, and the following animation is done in 1/4 the time or less. so it's like it's not there...much more time efficient...)

two so far. if played right, you can get ALOT of materials per quest. like....6-9 carves on the back [i forget. was too busy carving as much as i could before i was sent flying], in addition to the carves at the end of the quest, and the rewards. result is that 2-3 hunts are all you need to get a near complete set of armour. hunt a 4th time and it's almost guaranteed you can make one of the weapons too. but seeing as weapons are major supply munchers, that's where you lose the most materials...

I'm going to get around to making Yama's weapons once I do a check of what materials are needed besides Yama parts. BTW, do you have an Acidfang Proto type drawing for me to take a look at?

not at the moment, no. i'm actually searching the net for pics of Carchas to help strengthen the design i'm gonna sketch. i want him to turn out as good looking as possible. though, you'll forgive me for not colouring it, right? time restrictions and lack of good colouring techniques mean i'll only ruin it if i colour it...Ripper's going to be my first guineapig for that when i find time...or perhaps Crusher...he's already shaded...could experiment the effect of colours on pre-shaded pics that way...

i'll start working on it tomorrow...but be warned, mood may effect whether or not i actually do anything....things like this tend to depend heavily on whether you're in the mood to do something, so i can't make promises. i'll try my best though...

BEAST!!!! BEAST OF A WEAPON!!!!! Sentoryu Wolf was my beast weapon.

On another note, I watched Godzilla: Final Wars. It. was. AWESOME. Only problem: too little scenes with Godzilla, and maybe a little less focus on the people. The plot's...... decent, though.

I disagree. Most of the monsters, who had entire movies dedicated to them in the past, were killed in, at most, 5 minutes. Hell, Hedorah lasted all of 30 seconds or less.

True, very ture....

He takes them most down like flies. Like the cinemassacre guy said:

Actually, the vast majority of the FW Kaiju are very pathetic. Lat's take Gigan, for eample. Not only goes he get his head blown off by a minimum charged beam, one that did squat to a hillside, but also got blown to bits by a flamenig moth. Plus, Kaiser Ghidorah failed to do any damage to FWGoji, but lobbed off his own head with his gravity bolts. Frail as heck. Plus, FW Goji's less powerful that GMK Goji, whose average for a Godzilla. To date, G90's, Showa Goji, GxM Goji, and MDGoji own FwGoji in so many ways, it's not even funny...

See, in MY opinion, what they did is that Godzilla was supposed to be UBER POWERED UP, not that his foes were softened up. I saw it that he was unstoppable strong, like 90's godzilla.

By the way, GMK Godzilla is cool looking, but he's a push over. He loses to a drill missile to the chest. Showa Godzilla is interesting, but I don't think he's as strong as you want to believe. GXM Godzilla..... well, he's like Godzilla 2000, he's decent.

As for that hill thing......... I have no idea what you're talking about........
