One of Zero's knives suddenly went flying at the young man as he attacked, the demon never breaking his stare from Seven's even for the pain as he readied himself to crush her attempts to hold him. Seven was struggling to keep him frozen, her breath coming more raggedly at the effort it took to hold Zero's power back.

Yoruichi had jumped as her phone suddenly vibrated, the teen fumbling in her pocket for a few seconds before she got a hold on the device and pulled it out. She flipped it open, the words 1 new message glaring at her from the screen. She pressed a few buttons, frowning as the message came up. "I've found Zero," she muttered, as if saying the words out loud would help her understand. At Ira's sudden intake of breath, Yoruichi looked up. The younger demon was staring at her with a strange mixture of hope and fear. "It's almost over," the redhead murmured. "The only question is...how did it happen so fast?" Yoruichi had to crack a small smile. "That's life," she said. "It throws things at you with little to no warning." Ira stared at her for a minute before she smiled back faintly. "I guess that's true," she said, looking back at the message Yoruichi had gotten and resolving to thank Gaara for everything when he got back.

Havoc ripped the roof off the car, the metal tearing as if it were mere paper, the symbiote now standing on the hood of the vehicle, holding the strip of metal in his clawed hands, the driver screaming and swerving dangerously close to various obstacles...

"No room for screw ups here, Speedy" The boy thought as he ran up to another street sign, ironically, it was a speed limit sign. With a strong tug, he wrenched the sign off its metal strut before running after the speeding car again, bending the sheet of metal into a scoop shape as he neared...

As the hero neared the car, Havoc hurled the piece of metal at him, the relative closeness of the attack making it unlikely that the hero would dodge the projectile easily...

The hero jumped as the sheet of metal flew at him, swinging his feet up as it neared. He held the speed limit sign in one hand as he gripped the top side of the car's roof with the other, which hit the ground at an angle. The boy let go as the metal hit the road, sliding across it with a metalic screech before he jumped off it, running after the car unhindered...

the knife stopped short, ground to dust against one of the streaks of sand in front of Gaara, as more closed around Zero's limbs, now going suddenly more aggressively, the hands being ground down, going further up the arms, everything from the elbow downwards now being ground rapidly to a paste, as Zero's feet were suddenly exposed to a violent churning of sands, shoes and the flesh of his feet shredded in seconds...

Zero was forced to break eye contact, turning his attention to the sand-wielder with a snarl of pain. He focused his power on the young man, forcing every muscle in his body to lock up as flames snaked over the floor towards him. While Zero fought back, he was also focusing a smaller part of his power on keeping Seven's attack on his own body at bay.

As the car neared an intersection, Havoc's arm suddenly lashed out at a nearby building, wrapping around a fire escape, the symbiote leaping off the car, swinging around the corner of the structure, releasing his grip at the end of the swing, launching himself through the air, smashing down on top of another car, caving in the roof of the vehicle, which began driving out of control. Havoc lept off once more, landing in yet another alley...

the sand suddenly tightened, pushing even harder, the sand acting free of Gaara's will now that he no longer regulated the power in it, the Demon's limbs suddenly crushed in an explosion of blood and ground flesh, the arms gone all the way to the shoulders, the legs gone up to the knees, causing the Demon to fall, pillars of sand tearing apart the surrounding room, as a large wave of sand formed in front of Gaara, slamming down on top of the flames, the sheer volume of it extinguishing it, Gaara trying to regain control...

The speed gifted mutant kept up with Havoc's pace, sign still in hand. By now, he had shaped it into a cone, which would amplify the sound of reverberations....

Zero let out an agonized snarl, the hold he had on the young man and the pressure he was putting on Seven to keep control of her body suddenly broken. Seven gasped, panting with an edge of relief. She'd never tried to hold her leader before - and she hadn't realized the strength of his will not to be held immobile like that.

the sands calmed as Gaara regained control, eying the assassin leader. bringing a hand forward, the scattered sands collected around Zero's broken and battered form, wrapping tightly around the man and compacting so that it became almost water tight, keeping the blood of the Demon from spilling while simultaniously immobilising him. "You brought this on yourself Zero. I would tell you to be more careful who you cross next time....but i don't believe in second chances for the likes of you" said the man, balling his outstretched hand into a fist, the sand encasing the man completely, though the area around the nose was kept thin enough to allow breathing. "Thanks for the help, Seven. It's nice to know that at least some of the assassins in this organisation weren't like Zero here" he said as he looked over his shoulder towards Seven, as a large torrent of sand began to swirl in front of him, ready to leave...

The spider bot finished videotaping the entire fiasco, then began to crawl up the wall and back u the hole, Meta-Ridley snatched the spiderbot out of the hole and put it back into his chest. Now that he knew just what he was up against, perhaps he could alert his master to this "Gaara" person...

Seven managed a half-smile and a nod, still trying to recover. "No problem." She straightened, glancing at what used to be her leader. "Not all demons are like him. It seems Ira's proven that to you." She met the man's gaze as light caught her pupils, once more reflecting with eyeshine like an animal's. "See you around, Sandman."

Gaara nodded, a pillar of sand blowing up through the ceiling, Gaara being lifted by sand soon after the hole was opened, the man turning once he was lifted over the building to stare right at the cyborg dragon that had been watching him all this time. "You just don't learn, do you?" he said in annoyance as he floated towards the Dragon, a smirk coming onto his face. since he sealed the hole in the ceiling back in the hallway he had been having sand enter the mech's joints. by now, all the limbs would be practically jammed stiff, completely immobile. "What damned obsession do you have for me to follow me wherever i go?" he asked as he neared, more sand slipping into the joints, the quantities now forcing the joints to reach critical pressure points, the bolts holding the joints in place threatening to shatter, the fact that the sand had worn them down tothe point they'd break with use meaning that the odds of the mechanical Dragon leaving here intact were slim to none...

Meta-Ridley snaled in pain as he tried in vain to get free of the sand, but to no avail. So he wantd to fight, eh? Then he'd give hima fight. Flaming embers began to stream out of the dragon's mouth as a stream of fire burst forth from Meta-Ridley's jaws at the sand user...

As Havoc turned a corner, the symbiote spotted an opening on the sidewalk: A drain that rain water would use to enter the sewer. The space was small, but the symbiote was able to contort his body enough to fit inside, slipping in effortlessly...

The boy skidded to a stop, crouching down by the grime covered grate that covered the storm drain. "God dammit!" SpeedFreak yelled, pounding down on the grate with the bent sign, the people around him giving him strange looks. "Symbie's gone into the sewers" SpeedFreak messaged.
"....Well atleast it wont be hurting anyone else, not for a while any way. Regroup back at the city limits. Vapor out" His alien ally replied, the ship doubling over in the air, soaring past the helicopter, heading back to the woods. SpeedFreak grumbled angrilly, bashing the grate one more time, hoping the echoes would do some damage to the pyschotic symbiote, before running off...

Seven let out a long sigh. "Thirteen and Eleven are dead, and Zero will be soon," she murmured, looking around as if seeing the destroyed room would help her come to grips with what had just happened. "Damn it. How the hell could Zero not see what a big mistake he was making?" She wound a lock of brown hair around her finger and tugged, not really aware of what she was doing. Her free hand clutched at her tattooed shoulder. The mark felt disgusting now, a permanent reminder of the horror she'd been made aware was her leader. No...her former leader. Zero was no more. This organization would have to be disbanded...and those who resisted would need to be told exactly what Zero had done to Ira. Seven would only use force if she had absolutely no other choice. "Time to end it all, Lisa..." the young woman sighed, her real name sounding foreign after using "Seven" for so long. She turned, stepped out into the hall and started walking. Her steps echoed thinly, and she couldn't help glancing back over her shoulder. She came to a halt about halfway down the hall from Zero's room. "Where do I go from here...?" she wondered out loud. She couldn't keep things the same as they had been, that was obvious...so where could she go?

The snapping of twigs sounded off as the boy shot through the undergrowth, a short while later. As he neared a line of wild hedges, the boy shot into the air, gripping onto an over head branch and swinging across on it. He let go soon after, flying down to the ground, landing in crouch. He looked up. The clearing. "SpeedFreak here. Waiting....waiting...." the hero said into the mouth peice
"Give me a second. Trying to lead this helicopter away from me...persistant pests..." Vapor replied, strafing about some buildings, trying to not only avoid the chopper, but the civillians below. Taking his chances, the alien tilted his ship so that one of the crescent wings was to the sky, the other to the ground, cutting through over an alley way, where the helicopter couldnt get to. As the craft cut through, it disappeared, light rippling down its length as it vanished, taking back to the air....
