a barrier of sand came up in front of Gaara, the sand beginning to glow red, increasing in temperature from the flames, as two streams reached out to either side and poured in on Ridley's jaws, jamming the joint controlling the opening and closing, as a thick pillar of sand broke through the barrier and right into Meta-ridley's mouth, the sheer amount of sand too much to be melted...

Meta-Ridley growled between his jaws, the cyborg now completly unable to fight at all. There was no way he could win this at all now. All he could hope for was for this sand master to hopefully let him go... perhaps he could convince him to do so. "Uncle, UNCLE!" the cyborg hissed out even with his jaws shut by the sand. "I give up! You win this conflict..."

Gaara flicked a wrist, the sand swirling, ripping the surrounding concrete and steel apart to make more sand, encasing the cyborg in it and lifting the organic machine off it's feet, tightening to make movement completely impossible. "Oh, so now the animal decides to talk. this 'conflict' isn't about winning or losing....i want to know who you're working for, and why they persist on harassing me" said Gaara...

Meta-Ridley began to ponder the question in his mind. Should he tell this demon whom he worked for, or should he lie to him? Finally, he decided to tell the truth, noting that Gaara probably wouldn't believe him anyway.Afterall, he did have all the data he needed on the Sand Master. "I work for a young girl named Tiffany Mandatane, who lives in the second highest building in this pathetic escuse for a city. and as for why I was harrasing you earlier? curiosity, of course. I had seen you with an odd flying demon, so I decided to see what you were up to.." the dragon growled, a glimmer shining in his eyes..

Gaara's eyes narrowed at the information, skeptical. he tightened the sand around Ridley slightly, just enough to make the metal in it's cyborg body creak and bend a bit. "And how exactly does your curiosity explain your bretheren's harrassment of me?" he inquired...

The boy was just about to make a smart a*s remark about being stood up by an alien, when suddenly the leaves in the encircling trees began to flutter about. SpeedFreak jogged into the cover of the shrubs, avoiding dirt, dust and other leaf litter flying about as the ship seemed to land. Thats when the boy heard "Scanner alert. Our dog friend is back" Over the head set. He looked about the area, eyes dancing from the shrubs to the tree trunks and branches. "I dont see him..." the boy replied. The headset clicked. "Holograph time!" The boy said, standing up. The image that appeared was simply two dots, one red, one yellow against a green background. Red was the hero, yellow was the strange animal. The dots were right next to each other. "...The hell" The boy said as the image flickered out. The yellow dot was to the left of the red one... which couldnt be right. Then it dawned on the boy, and he called out "Yo ink pup! What'd Wolf girl call you...JoJo?" There was a growl from above. The boy stepped to the side and looked up as the tarry substance poured down from a low branch, slow moving like syrup. It pooled up on the ground, spiralling tendrils rising up and interweaving as the rest of the ink fell, the canine's body reforming before SpeedFreak's eyes. He sat down and barked. "....Hi" SpeedFreak said
By now, the alien's ship had touched down and its cloak dropped. "Reflection time, Earth-born" Vapor said. The iris entrance opened up with a faint mechanical hum, the column of light descending from within the craft. "...Im about to step into an alien star ship." SpeedFreak thought. He looked away from the ship, to the dog. "Uh...stay?" JoJo tilted his head, letting an ear flop. "Dont play dumb, wolf girl told me you were smart...then again, a lot of people think they're pets are smart-"
JoJo let out a sudden, short bark that sounded like 'Hoor" and a growl that sounded like "roo"
"What the-'hooroo'?" The hero asked. "The hell?" He stopped, remembering now. She said to call her Yoru. The dog just tried to articulate a word- more over, a name. "You trying to say Yoru?" SpeedFreak asked, getting a nod from the dog. It understood what he was saying! "Wow, you are smart. Tell Yoru that SpeedFreak said hi, K buddy?" The boy said, smiling under the mask. He petted the ink hound on the head before walking off towards the ship. Little did he know that the dog had part of his body cling to the boy's gloved hand, ink sliding into the suit, lying in wait. If the alien was still at his chair, he'd have noticed the scanners showing SpeedFreak approaching, the 'unidentified life form' that JoJo was labeled as suddenly becoming two, with one over lapping the boy...

The dog had left the house not too long ago when the chopper lost sight of the alien craft. If the ship landed here to begin with, it must've been for a reason. The ink hound thought that it might return, and so ran back into the woods, the speedy mutant having already shot through most of the forest from the opposite direction by then. By time the boy got to the clearing, the suprised canine sling shotted his body into a tree, where he stayed until now...

Meta-Ridley began to choke, the cyborg trying to get some air. "W-what do you-" the dragon began to stammer, before a thought kicked into his head. He remembered now that, a few weeks beforehand, his maker had told him that she had made him from the blood of a large, reptilian monster that had terrorized the city beforehand. "I have no connection to whatever had harrased you before." Meta-Ridley growled. "You have the wrong dragon. I was simply cloned from the blood of one of the beasts that attacked you, and that's all I know..."

"I see" answered Gaara, skeptical. "Where is your master?. details this time" he asked, almost done with his questions but needing just a bit more information...

"Didn't I already tell you?" Meta-Ridley grunted, running out of things to say. "My master lives in the penthouse of the second tallest building in this city."

"Then you are of no more use to me" responded Gaara, balling his hand into a fist, the sand compressing on the limbs, flattening them completely, and causing severe distortions in the torso and vital areas, though not enough to kill the cyborg. he then turned away, dissipating in a cloud of sand, the sand encasing Meta-Ridley leaving with him, Zero levitating as a lump of sand after him, Meta-Ridley no longer in any condition to move, let alone pursue. Gaara had made sure to get sand in every crack in the mechanical parts, destroying the Spider-Bot in the process, leaving the cyborg dragon to depend on it's organic parts for survival...

Meta-Ridley coughed, the cyborg tried to move it's limbs, but to no avail. Just great. thankfully, he had thought that Gaara might do something like that, so he had uploaded all the video footage that the Spider-bot had taken into his processing ceurons in his brain. Plus, his wings were completly organic, just abit battered up. Using what strength he had in him, the dragon flew off toward his master's location, to inform her of what ahs happened...

a short while later, sand swirled into the garden of Ira's house, the sand collecting, Gaara appearing before them, a large lump of sand, Zero contained within, next to him. holding a hand out, a hawk formed, made of sand, the raptor taking flight and circling the house, landing outside Ira's window and pecking it trying to get Ira's attention, the words 'Meet me in the back yard' scrawled on the sand hawk's chest...

Meanwhile, in the middle of the day, Meta-Ridley flew toward the old, abandoned hotel, which towered above every otherbuilding in the city, except the Kingpin's own tower. As he neared the building, a section of the roof lowered, allowing the dragon to dly on in, the roof popped back into place once Meta-Ridley entered. The dragon landed on a large red X on the ground, a massive set of computer screens off in one corner of the otherwise empty room. Thankfully, he could now walk again, though running or jumping was out of the question...

Yoruichi and Ira had retreated to their respective rooms after Jojo had wandered off. Ira had sprawled out on her bed, one of her books in front of her as she cradled her chin in the palm of one hand, turning the pages with the other. As she heard the tapping, she glanced almost absently at the window, pausing halfway through a page. Seeing the sand hawk and the message, she pushed herself upright and swung her legs down to stand up. The teen crossed to the window and opened it as wide as it would go, not hesitating to climb onto the windowsill. There she perched for a second, balanced in a crouch, before she jumped. As she fell, her body automatically braced for impact. She landed with a heavy thud in the grass, dropping into a low crouch as the shock of the hit traveled up her legs. The height would probably have broken a human's shins. She stood when she felt able, which wasn't long after, and approached the fence, vaulting it with practiced ease. She glanced around the familiar yard curiously.

The boy stood just outside the shining light, looking up it and into the craft. From where he stood, he saw the internal paneling, lit up with a dull red glow. "..And how exactly is this supposed to work..." The boy muttered. He heard his voice, distant in the craft. "Sweet!" He said a loud, getting a louder echo. When the alien said 'two way communications to the ship', he wasnt kidding. There were approaching footsteps, small thumps against the metal floor. Vapor stood at the very edge of the opening, looking down. "Whats the hold up, Earth-born. Its only a standard gravity manipulation field!" He said.
"You dont see flying cars around here do you? What makes you think we 'Earth-born' know what a gravity manipulator is?!" The boy shot back. "Well it wont kill you or anything. As you've seen, I use it a lot" The alien retorted. The boy shrugged. He stepped slowly into the beam of light, and after a few seconds, felt the ever present pull of gravity disappear. He looked up to what created the strange beam of light. The panel above the iris entrance had split into fours, revealing a strange generator with four blue lights spinning about one large orange one. Looking at it hurt his eyes and made him feel dizzy. He lowered his gaze as he floated into the craft, shaking his head. "I'd reccomend you not doing that again" Vapor said. "Trust me, I wont" The boy grumbled. By now, he was in the craft, the entrance sliding shut and the beam of light dessipated. With it, the weightlessness. Catching his senses back, the boy looked around the craft, and was taken back. The front of the craft had lights and moniters, symbols running across the screen, intricate systems running. SpeedFreak looked to Vapor, who had pressed his hand against the wall. Green glowing lines appeared in almost invisable seams in the metal, before the section of wall split away, revealing a rack, where he fitted his bolt gun onto. Tapping the side of the opening, the metal slid back into place. "So uh...I see the concept of doors isnt universal" The boy commented.
"Not on this ship, no" The alien replied, looking to the vigillante. He said something in his home language, a panel sliding out from the wall a little bit up the ship, forming a table. Above, a panel flipped open, a thin mechanical arm lowering, the very tip having three graspers. In those three graspers was a long vial, its content being the familiar red symbiote.
"What the f*ck!?" SpeedFreak yelled as he saw Galaak move over to the sample. "Language please" The alien said, taking the sample from the grappler. "Do you have any idea wh-" The boy began, Vapor interjecting "A dead symbiote sample taken from your....crude weapon"
"...Dead?"
"Yes, seperated parts of symbiotes die if they cant find a host. I thought you'd know that"
"Last time I faced a 'seperate part' of a symbiote, the damn thing bonded its self to me!" The boy shot back. There was a silence then.
"...Awkward" Vapor said, looking from the boy to his sample. "It was a long time ago" The boy replied, leaning against a wall. He braced himself, incase the wall opened up suddenly. "So why do you have dead Symbie skin anyway...? Your not gonna get Bio-sign data from that...seeing as its...dead"
"I already have the symbiote on record." Vapor replied. "When it latched onto the craft before I crashed. I have to give it a stand alone name though, so we dont confuse it with...Maelstrom was it?"
"How about Symbie. Ive been calling him that during the brawl, so why not?"
"...Symbie..." The alien said, handing the vial back to the graspers. The nano-tech suit split, revealing the wrist device, where the alien typed in the name as closely as he could in his symbol alphabet. "This job gets stressful...something to poke fun at could save your sanity" He said, not looking back up.
"Your telling me. Why do you think Im always cracking jokes? Does more harm than good sometimes..." The hero replied. "So, answer the question. Why do you have that thing?"
"Well..." Vapor began, putting his arm down. "I was planning to use its genetic structure to form some sort of...gene cleanser. Something that can target symbiote DNA and destroy it within a host. Effectively curing them of any mutation created when they bonded"
"...Gene cleanser...." The boy repeated. Maybe... with a few tweaks to the formula...could that 'Symbiote Antidote' cure mutation in general...? The boy was jarred from his thoughts. The ink squirmed, rising out of the boy's costume. "That damn dog!" SpeedFreak yelled as the ink shot out a tendril, sling shotting over to the iris entrance. It was planning to slip through a seam, but the entrance had none. It was air tight, which made sense. This WAS a space craft after all. The alien sighed, and tapped a few buttons on his gadget. The entrance opened, and the ink slipped out, heading back to the ink dog. "You really should've been more careful with your contact. Who knows what you could have taken away from its...unstable form?" He also brought up the alert related to the dog. He changed 'Unidentified Life Form' to 'JoJo'

The seperated ink slithered back into the hound. It transfered what it heard to the dog. He shook his head dismissively. "Nothing interesting" he growled, disappointed. Maybe he'd tell Yoru what he found. Or...write it. What ever. He jogged back towards the house, tail wagging. If the dog had waited just a bit longer however....

The nano-tech suit started to disassemble. The orange visor split apart and slid into the helmet, revealing dead black eyes that glimmered wetly. The helmet its self split in two and moved apart, individual peicies continuing to break down as the bots made their way back to the wrist device, where they were stored. In seconds, the alien's suit had disappeared, revealing the being underneath. His 'skin' was dark blue with bands of black. He had a defined jaw. Long arms, with purplish fins at the back of them. He had a silver shirt on, two diagonal black stripes crossing each other on it. Dark gray pants held up by a black belt with a strange green clip covered his legs. Behind his shins were another set of fins. He had strange foot wear on, with light blue padded bottoms. A large, defined fin stuck out of his back. "This...is who Vapor really is. Without his space suit on"
"....Your a fish man, Vapor" SpeedFreak replied.
Vapor dawned a confused expression, before tapping into his implanted knowledge. Fish. Sea creatures. Harvested enmass as food. The corner of his mouth twitched, before he said in an annoyed growl "I...am an Ascatian...not a fish..."
"You look pretty damn fishy to me!"
The alien had a scowl on his face. He raised his wrist device, pressing buttons. The boy noticed the alien's fingers were webbed together with a fin like membrane in the spaces. Suddenly, a blue holographic sphere projected from the device. Inside the sphere, was the Milky Way Galaxy, slowly spinning. The alien pressed some more buttons, the holograph zooming in on one of the spiral arms. Clusters of stars flew past as one particular solar system appeared. A bright blue burning star with 5 planets orbitting it. "The Helina star system...light years away from this rock" Vapor snarled. The first planet to the sun was a green hue as a thick protoatmosphere covered its surface. The second was vaguely Earth like, a few million miles away from the first, with a thinner atmosphere, but a dry, brown surface. It was losing water, and with that, the prospect of life. The third however... was rippling. And it wasnt an effect of the holograph. Most of the surface was water, with a small continental island near the equator, covered with giant, thick trees. A single facillity existed on it- The Ascatian Interstellar Affairs building. Ground Zero for space travel. "The super powers on this planet, Amrillios, united eons ago, when we were able to see past petty differences. We excelled technologically and scientifically, where we made a name for the Ascatian race in the galaxy, with the galactic alliances. I will not stand for some insolent young one born in the back water recesses of our existance to compare me... to lowly fish"
"...Message recieved..." SpeedFreak said.
"Good. Now you know what I am. Theres the answer to your question earlier..."

The lump of sand levitating beside Gaara fell away at the top, revealing Zero's head, as Gaara waved a hand towards the man. "Merry Christmas" he said with a smirk...

" Hello, Meta-Ridley... I see you came back all battered and bruised... Your too injured to walk, aren't you?" A beautiful, feminine voice rang uot from the computer-lit corner of the room. Meta-Ridley at first tried to walk toward the voice, but pain shot thruought his entire body when he tried to. Damnit! he thought he could atleast walk, but he had underestimated the pain he could endure. Unable to take it anymore, the cyborg fell onto the ground, hurting far too much to get back up.

SpeedFreak's breaths slowly became ragged as his addreniline drained out of his system. His legs ached from all the sudden stops, and the stab wounds stung. Even if he healed faster than ussual, the time after taking a beating was excruciating. "Here-" Galaak said, handing the boy a strange kit. It was a white metal box, with black alien symbols on the front. "Ill think you'll find this useful"
"...What is it?" The boy said, taking the box.
"Medical kit. Got it after visiting one of the Vardian colonies. Their medical advancements are staggering." The alien replied.
"...Vardians...?" SpeedFreak asked. "Eh...aliens..." He muttered. Almost on cue, the top of the kit split apart and swung out with a hiss. It contents were revealed. Some strange device with a strap, wrapped up inside. The Ascatian reached in and took out a blue cylinder with a black domed top. The alien slid the middle of it back, revealing an opening. He then pressed down on the top, spraying something on the gash on the boy's chest and the stab wounds. "Kills infection and speeds up cell division some, so the wounds heal faster" Vapor said, sliding the spray closed and putting it back into the kit. He then pulled out a gray, metalic object. Like a gun, though it was more rounded with a flat top. From the buldge was a short needle. The flat top had a slot. What it was for became apparent as he pulled out a vial with some green potion inside. He slid the vial into the tool and then jabbed it into the boy's chest, above the gash. "What the hell!?" The boy said, after a sharp gasp.
"Pain killer" Galaak replied simply, taking the drained vial out of the tool and popping off the needle. "Need to steralize it sometime" The alien muttered to himself.
"Yeah? How're you sure Im not gonna have some sort of allergic reaction to this stuff?" The boy said. It was weird, he could feel the dull throbbing across his body ease off. "Medication adapts to the genetic structure of the injured, directing the immune system and other biologic functions, and giving them to aid to do numerous things. Expell poisons, fix torn muscle, mend bones..." Galaak explained. He put everything back into the kit and took it from the boy. He placed it back into the newly formed opening in the wall, which then closed as the metal rearranged when the alien tapped the side of it. "...Thanks" The boy said.
"Why thank me?" Galaak asked. "Isnt helping a fellow being in need the...how do you humans say it...the 'right' thing to do? Thats what I was taught when I joined the Galactic alliances..."
The mask quivered slightly as the boy smiled. "Yeah, it is. So...why'd you drop your get up? Reveal your identity?"
"Reveal my identity? Im the only Alien on this planet as far as I know, Earth-born. There isnt an identity to hide. Just appearances." The Ascatian replied. "Besides, I think I can trust a mutant- no...hero... like you"
"Thanks" SpeedFreak replied. "Makes me all fuzzy and sentimental on the inside...so does this mean you want me to take the mask off...?"
"You dont have to if you dont want to. One face to know the 'SpeedFreak' by is good enough" Galaak said, his mouth curving into a grin.

The dog slowed down when he got to the fense, heading over to the gate. Through the chain links, he saw that Gaara had returned, a block of sand next to him. Ira was also with him. His wings rose from his back, flapping hard to raise JoJo into the air, where he soared over head, not keen on interupting. The dog soared through Ira's open window, rearing up and flapping furiously to slow down. His hind legs touched the floor and the rest of his body dropped, the wings folding up soon after as JoJo made his way to the door. As the wings disappeared under a layer of ink, a tendril shot out, turning the knob and opening the door, the ink slipping through, following his nose to his friend.

Ira felt her eyes widen, and she couldn't help the soft, excited hiss that she let out. Zero snarled back at her, his teeth snapping as if he wanted nothing more than to sink his fangs into her neck. "A little early, but I'm not complaining," she said, walking closer with a little caution in her step.

Meta-Ridley looked up as he saw the shadow of his master walk to the crumpled cyborg's side. What he saw was a girl in her late teens, though appearance-wise, she looked as if she was in her 20's due to her height. Her hair was very long and fair, reaching to her stomach, and was a silver color, the light coming in through a window shining off of it. "DO not worry Meta-Ridley", the girl wispered as she crouched down next to the battered dragon, Tiffany began to stroke the cyborg's head. "You'll be all fixed up in no time." she said as she grabbed Meta-RIdley's tail and began to pull him toward a large door, the words "Repair Shop" on the door...
