Tiffany: Pikachu can be quite powerful.... if you have it equip a Light Ball, which doubles it's special attack. Even then, it's a glass cannon, and can't survive many hits. Raichu's better, but he can't benefit from the Light Ball boost. Ash's Pikachu is overpowered, and breaks many of the rules set in the games...

The anime Pikachu is not overpowered, just an awesome pokemon. All of Ashes pokemon are awesome, cause they have a good trainer. That's why you use Double Team, to avoid hits, and then use your Light ball and Thunderbolt them into ashes.
