"We didn't ask for your damn envoy, nor did we ask for those other fanatics to come. We tried to isolate ourselves, but evidently none of you can take the hint!" the cat growled, fur bristling once more, growing more agitated. Behind him, a scolding hiss was heard. "Enough!" it snapped, as the cat from before stepped out of the foliage. The first cat fell back into a sitting position, calming itself gradually. Around them, five more warriors appeared, pelts showing a vast variety in the Earthclan ranks. Amongst them strode Afrostar, the leader noticeably taller then his clanmates, and the extended head fur made this fact even more apparent. Although he was calm, his uneasiness was visible in his stare, watching the intruders carefully. "You have my attention, leaders of Stormclan. I suggest you make this worthwhile..." he growled, the cats around him visibly preparing themselves...

Swift felt his shoulders tense at the appearance of more EarthClan cats. The StormClan patrol was outnumbered to the point of things looking grim if it turned to a fight. Sure they had their leaders from them, two cats who shouldn't be taken lightly. But those extra lives they had would be easily lost if Shadowsoul or Snowstar were injured badly enough.

"Evidently this is not going to be a pleasant conversation...but very well" started Wraith as he glanced around at the Earthclan cats. "The former clans fell, the so called 'colour clans' were crushed not long afterwards. Now there are three clans in this forest. Earthclan, Stormclan and Novaclan. It's already clear to me that anything more than neutrality would be next to impossible with the attitude i've seen here, though i'm bewildered as to the reason behind the hostility. regardless, all things considered, i'd settle for neutrality. Too many lives have been lost in the past moons. I don't know if anything of the Warriors' values i used to know amongst you even exists anymore, but i'm sure you'll agree losing so many is something we can't afford to let happen again" he growled, keeping his voice clear enough for everyone present to hear, his eyes then shifting back on Afrostar. "I won't ask for much. obviously Earthclan only wants it's peace and isolation. As such, i think we can come to an agreement. So long as we aren't given reason to retaliate, you won't have to worry about Stormclan's presence in your territory, or even close to it. you get your isolation, Stormclan and Novaclan get peace. I believe that's a fair enough deal...what say you?" he stated finally, eying the Earthclan Leader...

"What bewilders me is that you pursued this mission of peace so vigorously...yet we have not given your clan a reason to seek peace...until now, we were content in the ignorance." Afrostar explained, tail curling around his paws as he sat. "Perhaps you really didn't know about us...so your discovery was spurred on by...another source." he continued, eyes narrowing. "And I can only assume it was those other fanatics...Novaclan, as you said..." he concluded calmly. "This, of course, means there's more to this then simply a mission of peace..."

"Prevention is the best cure. Why wait for something to happen when we can stop it from happening in the first place?" growled Wraith simply. "The only other issue i had was to invite you to attend a Gathering...it's mostly to settle the minds of the Clan cats. a subtle sense of peace and stability, like there was prior to the collapse of the Old Clans...but seeing as your Clan is so heavily against our beliefs, for whatever reason you may have, i decided not to mention it....I could hardly expect you to attend something whose origin lies amidst the very thing you seemingly hate" he explained...

Snowstar's lips parted as he formally entered the negotiations. "Ah, Afrostar" He mewed. "Your scrutinizing eyes are as iconic as the fur upon your head." He said with a smile. "But those eyes over look the blaring truth. Our clans are just getting strong, the last thing we need are enemies. We either leave as kindred spirits, or stay oblivious to each other. Either outcome would be fine as long as no blood is shed. With the word of a former Thunderclan cat turned Stormclan leader, I guaruntee that peace is our first priority"

Afrostar continued to stare, eyes narrowed. "I see it now...you intend for us to attend this 'gathering', despite what you say you know about us. And yet you still mention, despite knowing the answer!" he growled, getting into a standing position. "Its a trap! They want to destroy Earthclan when all its leadership is together!" one cat yowled, the others yowling their agreement. Soon, every Earthclan cat was standing, fangs bared...

Swift got to his paws and meowed, "Use your brain. The last thing our Clans need now are more enemies. The rogues threaten all of us. Why waste our energy pointlessly fighting each other when we should be focusing on the real threat?" He started to pace back and forth, glancing up at the hostile EarthClan cats, still speaking. "Think, will you? If you force a war between us, you not only create hostility between us that serves no purpose, but you also leave yourself weak to attack from behind, from cats who know no code of honor. They would rip your throat out without a second thought. We are no such savages that we would murder without reason."

Wraith sighed in frustration at the reaction. "Did i not just say i intended to shrug off that part of the discussion after i saw how obviously hostile you were to the old beliefs? It was by your request i mentioned it anyway. do not insult your own intelligence and accuse us of laying a trap. If you don't want to attend, I won't ask you to. go back to your camp and guard your territory. soak in the paranoia that has obviously gripped you all. I won't stop you. So long as it doesn't lead to our borders, you will see nothing of us" growled the black leader...

"It was that way before this meeting! We did nothing to bring you here!" another warrior protested, its peers agreeing. "Call it paranoia...but the clan speaks for itself...too many things are based simply on good will...which we have a hard time believing you're capable of." Afrostar explained, still standing amongst the agitated group. "I think you underestimate Earthclan, kit..." Afrostar growled to the pacing Stormclan cat, chuckling. "The rogues will never pose a significant threat...besides...quite a few of our brothers and sisters were once rogues..." he explained with a shrug. Around him, the Earthclan cats began to surround the intruders, some slowly moving behind them to prevent an escape...

With that, Snowstar mewed in a strangely upbeat tone "Well, it would seem unifying the clans after 9 moons of peace was too much to ask" A glimmer of light flashed in his eyes as he bowed his head. "Do as you see fit" He growled to Afrostar

"Gladly." Afrostar growled simply. The cats that had moved behind the four launched themselves without pause, each colliding with the Stormclan cats as the rest began to swarm around them. Afrostar sat back down, smirking as he watched the brawl...

Snowstar dropped onto his side a split second after the cats pounced. He rolled onto his back, limbs extended. His forepaw claws stabbed into the attacker's chest and hooked onto its flesh, while the white tom kicked it in the stomach region, claws digging in there aswell..

Swift spat, "You truly are idiots." He sprang forward to meet their attackers, ears pressed flat against his head and jaws parted in a caterwauled challenge. His claws and teeth met in the fur of an EarthClan tom. Without hesitation he bit down as hard as he could, feeling his teeth break the skin and tasting the warm, salty tang of blood.

Lightstorm was no slower to react, ducking and rolling to one side to avoid his opponent's attack and turning swiftly to retaliate with a swipe aimed at the cat's muzzle.

Wraith snarled as he dropped to the floor, rolling onto his back and kicking up at the incoming cat, knocking it off him, notable gashes left in the attacker's chest and gut, the attacker's momentum sending it over him, as Wraith rolled to his feet to face the attacker...

A paw struck the white tom's forehead, claws digging into his flesh as well as dazing him. Taking advantage of its foes state, his original attacker yowled and pulled itself away, risking further injury.

Another cat collided with Swift, knocking him off his original target, a clump of fur in his mouth. The cat dug its claws into the younger cat's chest, trying to pin it to the ground.

The cat ducked under Lightstorm's swipe, charging forward in response, sending both falling to the ground in a tangle of limbs.

As Wraith's opponent got back to its feet, another cat landed on his back, pushing him to the ground, as his opponent slowly approached, claws unsheathed.

Swift hissed angrily and kicked up as hard as he could, connecting with the EarthClan cat's stomach, sending it flying off of him. Quick as a fish he flipped back onto his paws and charged after his fallen opponent, unsheathed claws glinting.

Lightstorm yowled and sunk his teeth into the cat's shoulder, battering its stomach with his hind paws. Clumps of fur were torn from the cat and drops of blood began to spatter the ground.

Snowstar shook his head, trying to clear his head. He felt the tug of the cat's fur on his claws, knowing it was trying to back off. Once semi-oriented, the white tom sent his rear paws into its bottom jaw, before rolling back onto his feet

Wraith snarled, reacting on impact to the second attacker, kicking at the attacker's legs, claws ripping through it's lower leg muscles as Wraith powered himself forward, ripping free of the attacker on his back and tackling the second, claws ripping into it's neck, jaws snapping at whatever he could get ahold of, ears and snout included...

As the two cats rolled, the Earthclan warrior kicked out with all four paws, propelling the Stormclan leader into a nearby bush.

The cat stumbled back from the blow, flexing its jaws to make sure everything worked...

Another warrior collided with Swift as he ran, sending him tumbling to the ground. The original attacker got up, joining the second as they approached their enemy. A white shape shot out of the undergrowth surrounding them, tackling one of the warriors, the other stunned by what had just happened. Another light gray cat launched out of a nearby bush, colliding with the second Earthclan warrior.

Soon all the Earthclan warriors were preoccupied, pristine cats darting out from the undergrowth, attacking their foes with immense speed and agility. Afrostar and his deputy had their backs to a particularly large tree, the Earthclan leader's surprise very clear in his eyes. "I thought you scouted the area for reinforcements?!" he snapped at his deputy, who shrunk back slightly. "W-we did! We found nothing!" the deputy responded fearfully.

"You brought this on yourself, fool!" a voice yowled to the leader's right, Afrostar turning soon enough to see the pouncing form of Novaclan's Exarch, smashing the larger cat against his companion. "I KNEW IT! This was all a trap!" the Earthclan leader snarled, pushing away his deputy as he got to his paws. "It does not take the gift of foresight to know your paranoia would get the better of you, whelp. Novaclan does not abandon its allies." Alaitoc snarled, his stance low to the ground, as if ready to move at a moment's notice...
