Snowstar mewed "Im afraid we wont be able to see what you do" Snowstar mewed. "But we've brought someone who might" He added as he motioned to Cloudhaze with his striped tail. He swung it towards another outcrop, and Cloudhaze nodded, making her way towards it...

"And us you, Ulthwe. again, my gratitude for your support. had Alaitoc and the warriors with him not arrived, i doubt we'd've managed to leave so easily, if at all, considering Earthclan seemed to have an endless supply of clanmates" growled Wraith as he moved forward, climbing onto one of the rocky outcroppings...

"It was foolish to bring so few of your clan to the meeting, Shadowsoul...but also incredibly brave. It is admirable how dedicated you are to the peace amongst the clans." Ulthwé meowed with a smile, though she continued to face the water. Upon hearing Snowstar, she raised a brow. "Is that so? And who might this be?" she questioned, curious.

"Our medicene cat, Cloudhaze" Snowstar mewed, having moved over to an out crop as well. He and the she-cat leapt onto their rocky perches. Cloudhaze mimicked Ulthwé's stance, staring into the pool...

"In all honesty, i had underestimated how aggressive Earthclan would be....i never dreamed they'd be so swift to fight a clan whose intentions they didn't know" responded Wraith. "If only i knew what had driven them to it...what made what they went through different to what we saw, to make them lose faith in our ancestors" he added, saddened slightly at the fact such information would likely never be known to him in any measure of detail...

"Their leader is partially to blame..." Ulthwé explained with a nod. "As you know, Afrostar was once the deputy of one of the old clans. According to our contacts amongst the natives, their clan was almost as paranoid as Earthclan is now. What happened here made it far worse, it seems." she continued, frowning at the mention of what occurred to destroy the old clans. Although the loners that existed in the unclaimed territory were not keen on joining Novaclan, they aided them greatly by telling them of the region and its history. Ulthwé turned her attention to the other she-cat, staring at her with sightless eyes, smiling. "Tell me what you see, child..." she meowed gently, looking back toward the pool.

"The dead laying on their ground, mouth agape...as if about to yowl but got cut down before they could...blood...staining the ground" Cloudhaze mewed, closing her eyes and looking away from the water. She stepped back on her perch. "Horrible things" She mewed, answering the farseer's question. Snowstar lowered his gaze to his paw, thinking. Thats how many of those close to him looked after they were felled. He had a solemn look on his face. The pains of the past were about to find place in the future...

Ulthwé frowned once more, but nodded. "Which is why I requested your audience, leaders of Stormclan." she meowed, slightly impressed by the she-cats abilities. The Farseer herself could see much more gruesome images...but then again, this Stormclan cat would need to endure much, should she choose to embrace her gift...

Swift sat half-hidden in the shadows, ice blue eyes glowing faintly. The things Cloudhaze described, he'd seen with his own eyes. He'd seenthat and worse, but he hadn't made that known. And now wasn't the time to open his mouth and share. He turned his head slightly, hiding his expression. His thoughts became troubled as they turned to the rogues who were becoming steadily more murderous.

Wraith lowered his head, disturbed by what was being revealed. it indeed sounded like the events he had seen in the past. Bloodclan, aggressive rogues, wars....and twolegs....but twolegs didn't cut cats. they crushed them, or captured them, imprisoned them, and took them away. Twolegs were an unlikely possibility judging by what was said. what twolegs unleashed upon cats was a fate frequently far worse than death. "Can you see the cause of those atrocities, Ulthwe?" he inquired solemnly, a worried look on the tom's face which undoubtedly made itself at least vaguely known in his voice...

AdderFang watched as the clan cats go about there business, beside him honey lay purring at the enterence of the nursery as the kits rolled in the leaves flame had gotten for them but the black toms mind was on something else " the patrol has been gone for quite a while" he meowed but then returned his attention back to the kits.

Ignore this post until it has been corrected...

Ulthwé shook her head. "No...but it is more then just foresight that calls us to action." she meowed, sighing. "I'm sure you're well aware that the rogues have been growing more aggressive as of late..." she continued, tail wrapping around her paws as she continued to stare at the pool. "We've taken measures to ensure the safety of the forest, however. Through our loner allies, we've been able to identify any rogues that have tried to unite their savage brethren. When such a cat is identified...we eliminate them, thus keeping the rogues leaderless and, in theory, harmless." Ulthwé explained carefully. "Lately...our loner allies have seen many slain rogues, and even their own kind, turning up in the unclaimed territory near the mountains. We've investigated several times, and only found horribly mutilated bodies at the scene." the farseer meowed, eyes closing for a few moments as she recalled the scent of death.

"Disfigured bodies amongst the savages isn't an uncommon thing, though." Alaitoc added, seated at the base of the rock structure. "The rogues are always forming grudges against each other...and when one finally gets the best of the other, they mutilate the remains as a show of dominance...but this..." he explained, shaking his head. "Far too many of died for this to be a natural occurrence. Something is killing the rogues...and its moving closer to clan territory each day." the Exarch concluded, frowning. "As you can see, this presents multiple problems..." Ulthwé meowed, shifting uncomfortably. "The most obvious is that whatever is killing the rogues will soon be upon the clans themselves...but soon the rogues will realize what is going on as well, and will be pushed into clan territory out of desperation."

"What?" growled the black tom in shock, Wraith's eyes widening suddenly. "The....the mountains?....Firestreak! we sent him there as a trial....." his voice trailed off, stunned. the realisation that he may have sent the a skilled warrior and a former deputy, a potentially vital ally, to his death, was horrifying. could it be that Firestreak's blood was now on his hands? that...that the tom lay dead amongst the other cats, a victim that could've been saved. snarling, the black leader's claws unsheathed, raking into the rocky ground beneath his feet, leaving marks where the rock was soft enough, 8 noticable scratches in the rocky ground at his feet...

"Dont worry, Wraith" Snowstar mewed. "Firestreak is a resourceful cat. He has survived much worse conditions. He will return to us." The white tom assured. Firestreak was a cat who has defied the odds numerous times...and still does

Ulthwé frowned, but shook her head nonetheless. "You wouldn't have known what was going on. No one could. I pray to the stars that your friend is well." she meowed softly, bowing her head. As the farseer finished speaking, a she-cat warrior stepped into the chamber, immediately approaching Alaitoc. "Exarch...there's been another killing.." the she-cat explained, obviously on-edge. "Where?" Alaitoc questioned, getting to his paws. "A few tail-lengths from the Stormclan border..." the she-cat reported, frowning. Alaitoc visibly grimaced. "This is a major change..." Ulthwé commented, shaking her head. "Could be a rogue trying to escape. It might not be as close as it appears..." Alaitoc retorted, trying to remain optimistic. They had hoped it would be a few days before the killings would get so close...

Fogcloud turned his head to the group of cats moving to and fro about the camp. Some of them were the patrol cats, as they had arrived some time ago. He smirked. No one had pestered him into working. He sighed as he went back to watching the clouds passing over head, oblivious to the icy blue eyes staring at him from the leader's den...

Wraith's eyes narrowed. "We need to get back there and warn the Clan. we can't let them be caught by surprise" he growled. he had persevered throguh the fall of the old clans and built Stormclan from the ground up. he would not see his work and his friends' lives lost so easily. the tom turned, leaping from the rocks and landing on the ground, heading for the exit. "My gratitude for the information, Ulthwe. Is there anything else you'd like to warn us about?"...

Nightclaw lay in what little heat the near leaf-bare sun could provide, in an attempt to warm his fur...he'd have to enjoy the heat as much as he could...soon, the weather would be too cold for the sun's rays to keep up...clouds rolled on the horizon. rain was undoubtedly on it's way...

Ulthwé shook her head, though Alaitoc quickly spoke up. "We're taking a few warriors to investigate the area. Can't be too careful...don't want whatever this thing is near the clans." the Exarch explained, following Wraith toward the exit...

"We bid you a pleasent farewell" Snowstar mewed as he hopped off his rocky perch. Cloudhaze mewed wordlessly, as if her mind was distant. She hopped down and walked after the leaders...

Swift was ight behind Shadowsoul., a frown creasing his brow. Lightstorm drew forward to walk at Swift's side. The sleek, scarred black tom seemed deeply troubled. "You think whatever's doing the killing is trying to scare us off?" the white tom asked his old friend. Swift shrugged. "I don't know, but it sure looks that way. Seems the rogues aren't our biggest problem after all." "When is anything ever so simple as that?" Lightstorm questioned dryly. Swift chuckled humorlessly. "If only she could have told us what was doing the killing..." he mewed. "The whole problem might be easier to tackle if we knew. But then, I get the feeling we'll find out sooner or later."
