Run for the hills! It's not aliens; it's not Godzilla; it isn't even Superman; it's a hand-drawn picture! Le gasp! Is hell freezing over as we speak? Has the sun risen in the west? *falls over in hysteria*
Terribad quality, I know. >___< I took the pic with my camera since I have no scanner...and I know, I know, the raptor trying to kill the para is all discombobulated...
But! On the plus, this is my first time drawing a Parasaurolophus. I think it came out better than alright.

and you tell me you don't know how to draw by hand. this is arguably better than anything i've done, and i'm exclusively a traditional artist. pencil, pen and paper only...

KP: I didn't say I didn't know how...just that I sucked at it. XP I'd bet anything you like that if you learned to draw from a combination of front- and side-views, you'd be much better at realistic drawings than I am.

well. in all honesty, the last time i drew a scene like this was way back in....2006 i think. back when my Rexes had heads bigger than their torsos, and had skulls that warbled between big rocky bricks and needle thin beaks. so yeah. maybe i could manage it if i were to try it now....dunno about the patterns though. the best i did with that was that one Crusher vs. Thrasher pic i made way back when...
just a heads up though HF. shrink the pic's size a bit. it's stretching the page. you'll probably realise how much of a pain it is to have to scroll sideways to read by the time you've finished reading this post

I'll see what I can do about the size.
As for the patterns, my advice is creativity is key. Try a few designs out on another sheet of paper when you're ready to add one, and when you find one you like; go nuts!
Not too nuts though. XP Wouldn't want to end up ruining your drawing. I've done it enough times...lawl

One more pic. This one was drawn as a birthday gift for a very close friend of mine. I figured I'd better snap a picture of it before I give it to him this weekend.
My apologies for stretching the page but this was the smallest I could get the pic without sacrificing detail in an already bad-quality image. >___< Win some, lose some.

On a more serious note, quite impressive. How did you draw it? just sketched it?
I like its eyes, depth on the head could use some work though. a bit of shading wouldn't go a miss.

Quiet you.
I drew it from memory, with a set of graphite pencils I got for my birthday. Started with a sketch, and then built on it gradually. Scales were a pain in the ***.

It's Ira again. Obviously she's older here than she is in the RP, and she's changed a bit.
Her hair is longer and has no bangs; the black at the end is more obviously genetic (at least in my mind. XD), and she's got those scars.
Still working out how she got them. lolIfail.
I know there are some mistakes in anatomy, but I'm not perfect...and her boots, try as I might to make them epic, fell far short of that.

Not bad, not bad. The boots look kinda funny, though. I'd give it a 3.5/5, though.
