Revan smirked lightly through his mask as he got off and proceeded to walk back towards his cell. He knew the drill, it was somewhat automatic. While he had grown used to the cell, it still irritated at him at times but it was nice for him to really stretch his legs...

Serephir's eyes narrowed at the geth, one hand leisurely placed on the grip of one of his swords, the General watching and waiting for a sign...

Both tasers slammed into the Sith's neck, pumping his body full of electricity, swiftly knocking him unconscious. "Oh yes..." Fox said as the Komodos dragged the Sith from the room. "We are done..." he concluded, dropping the cigar into a waste bin...

As the hormagaunts were ripped to pieces, the rest of the invaders were no where to be found within the creatures...

The Prowlers and Void Fiends, in their death throes, sent waves of spores down toward the planet, while the Hiveships did the same as they moved, throwing a much larger concentration down toward the planet, the sheer number of spores guaranteeing at least some would get to the surface...

The Sith's eyes widened from shock but he was not that surprised considering where he was. He watch as his head came in crashing towards the floor and that was it...blackness once again..

The Geth's eye briefly flicked to Serephir's hand, one eye flap raising, as if it was confused by the threat. Looking back at Serephir, the three lights in the slots between its head flaps (two on the left side, and one on the right) blinking, it spoke again: "Serephir-General."

Though many spores simply smashed right into plasma blasts, disintegrating instantly while the plasma pounded the Tyranid ships above, some made it through the bombardment, only to meet with the swarms of Ripplers that had been gathering over every sector of the planet controlled by the Arachnids, which was a significant portion for a minor colony. The vicious insects tore apart the incoming spores in showers of explosive spines, further reducing incoming numbers, before the spores finally touched down, meeting furious Warriors and Tiger Bugs that assaulted the spore capsules when they hit the surface...

The spores impacted with the ground with immense force, crushing those arachnids in the impact zone, while throwing others away that were nearby. A variety of creatures were spawned from the spores. In some cases, simple termagaunts and hormagaunts emerged, quickly overwhelmed by the larger insects. In others, immense Carnifex emerged from the impact zone, rampaging through the arachnid ranks as if they were but flies on its carapace. In one particular case, a group of spores landed in the mountainous regions of the planet, protected by the sheer numbers that were aimed at the planet. This group was, however, significant: It contained the fleet's active Hive Tyrant and a small army of Tyranid creatures.

From the spores, numerous warriors emerged, some armed with ranged deathspitters, while others possessed massive rending claws. Termagaunts and Hormagaunts quickly assembled, lead by the ranged and close combat warriors respectively. The Hive Tyrant carried with it a heavy venom cannon, but was by no means vulnerable at close range. Numerous Rippers were spawned by the spores as well, the mindless creatures immediately seeking out any organic matter they could find, spawning a few reclamation pools. A few warriors armed with deathspitters remained with the creatures, who were so basic that they would die if they were not controlled by the Hive Mind. Their first order of business was simple: find the rest of the Tyranid creatures that made it to the surface.

In space, the Tyranid ships, after unleashing as many spores as they could, began to disengage. Until the planetary defenses were brought down, they could do no more. Those Krakens still engaged kept fighting to the bitter end, buying time for the rest of the fleet to leave the planet. The other planets in the system were, as well, being invaded, biomass extracted fueling their efforts to make up for their losses.

"Hm....so i did hear correctly. talking Geth...interesting. Identify yourself" said the General as he eyed the Geth, his hand still resting on the grip of his blade, as if being used as a support, like a table would...

OOC: TT, the planet is completely arid, and the others in the system are inhospitable IIRC.
Ie: No biomass, except for the arachnids :P

The work on the drones small tunnel continued, beginning to level out and form a small cave some 12 meters underground...

The Geth cocked its head, as if confused. "We are Geth."

In response to the appearance of the Carnifexes, more powerful creatures emerged from the barren earth. Tank Bugs, which towered over even the largest Tyranid creature on the battlefield, exploded from underground, scattering smaller Tyranids as they did so. The massive beetles began spraying their deadly napalm, the liquid streams of fire melting through Carnifex carapaces and frying the creatures beneath. More and more Arachnids Warriors and Tiger Bugs continued to arrive, smashing through the lines of Gaunts like bowling pins, able to continue fighting long after the smaller, weaker creatures had fallen. Ripplers hovered above, raining explosive death down on concentrated pockets of Tyranid creatures, caring little for any collateral damage they might cause...

"...We?" said Serephir, somewhat surprised by the wording of it's answer...

"Yes, we," the Geth replied. "There is no individual. We are Geth. There are currently 1,183 programs in this mobile platform."

Blackfire skipped ahead, quiet and camoflauged, surveying the destruction with hungry eyes. The new aliens, the natives, all of them would feed her hive. She would have to capture more individuals, learn more about this world...

OOC: Hey, I never said they found a lot, I just said they found SOME :P

Those Tyranids that were in smaller groups were quickly overwhelmed. Soon, only those guided by the Hive Mind survived, retreating into the mountainous regions to reunite with the Hive Tyrant. Gaunts sacrificed themselves in the thousands to preserve the more valuable species, slowing down their aggressors with sheer numbers. Gargoyles did the same with the flying creatures, preoccupying them from the other Tyranid organisms...

The Arachnids continued slaughtering the Tyranid hordes, but did not move towards the mountains. Instead, they dragged the corpses of their foes back underground to feed on fresh meat, something they hadn't done in many years. Some were taken to the Brain Bugs living beneath the planet's crust, to find out more about these strange new enemies...

While the smaller organisms were left to be taken, the Carnifex that were slain exploded shortly after death, sending bioplasma in all directions.

Many different creatures made their way to the mountains. Some gaunts still remained, following small groups of warriors to reunite with the rest of the swarm. Raveners, which escaped the initial slaughter by burrowing underground, arrived in large quantities, though some were still dormant across the planet's surface, hiding until they were awaken by a synapse creature. Genestealers and lictors were able to escape the slaughter as well, making their way toward the mountains unseen. Some lictors were instructed by the Hive Mind to follow the natives...they would track them back to their hives, giving the Hive Mind an idea of where the central arachnid forces were located. The Tyranids lost many to their enemies already, but they still had just enough to make one full-sized army...

Any remaining Tyranids, including those lying dormant underground, were sniffed out and devoured with the rest of their kind. The Arachnids continued dragging their prey away underground, but in several different directions...

The Hive Mind was not willing to lose the subterranean battlefield so easily. The Raveners, designed to burrow very quickly, escaped any attempt the bulkier warrior arachnids made to chase them underground, more out of self preservation then under the influence of the Hive Mind. Some, however, slowed themselves to the point they could still get out of danger if need be, but were close enough to keep the creatures hunting, leading them away from the rest, while their complex sensory organs kept them from accidentally burrowing into the hive tunnels used by the natives...

The Arachnids continued their pursuit, though few Warriors kept the chase up. Most returned to their other duties: cleaning up the mess of the Tyranid invasion and devouring the corpses...

The Raveners kept moving, all burrowing toward the same area. From the sides of the tunnels, immense maws exploded forward, engulfing the warriors completely in a split second, before the serpentine creatures burrowed back into the dirt on the other side of the tunnel, leaving few pursuers alive. The Raveners, knowing the trap was sprung, turned back to the stragglers, chest-mounted devourers coating the warriors with acid from a distance...

The Warriors charged, screeching, straight through the acid, slamming bodily into the Raveners and tearing them apart in a frenzy, ignoring the pain even as their carapaces sizzled and melted...
