"Yeah, for now. But maybe we can take the are by the river as a territory. No predators like other lions own the area, and we have been there for a while," growled Red Claw, reminding Nightbane of the location they had been living at for the past few days. "And there is also a good amout of prey by the river, since those herbivores always seem to be coming back, even though larger rivers with lots of vegation are near the surrounding area over there. And the only real threat to us there are the crocodiles, yet their numbers have reduced lately, so we got a good chance of drinking in the river without getting caught by the reptiles that lie in wait there," Red continued, wanting to know if Nightbane wanted to take the area as their territory, by reminding him of the pros and cons of that area.

"a couple of wolves hardly have the size or strength to fight a fully grown lion" he growled. "Though admittedly, the older of the two was startled when a lion suddenly appeared in the cave she made her home" he added, chuckling at the memory...

"And the other one?" the lioness growled, fascinated.

Red slowly continued towards the river, so she could get a drink. Her trhoat was basically dry, with the exception of the blood in her mouth. "Wolves have been unpredictable for me the last time I saw any. Last one I met, he nearly got me killed by tricking me into attacking something by the river for him that wasn't even there, and I almost lost my head to a croc!" she growled, having a small grudge against wolves. "Maybe we should alreat all the animals living in this part of the northern area of the reserve about what happened to Manderius. I know they'd lose their fear of that coward, and finally live in peace around her," Red Claw added, remembering how Manderius owned the part of the northern area of the reserve.

OOC: in this RPG, the reserve is easily the size of Africa in real life. it contains every species of creature on the planet aside from those in arctic regions. so Manderius ruling the entire 'northern area' is ridiculous. that'd be like saying he owned Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Morroco...etc. COUNTRIES. as far as we're conscerned, he owned a large area of that patch of savannah. that way it's fairer. those patches are massive and it was unusual for a lion pride to own that much


"The other one was fascinated by me....she was a pup though. a young one. she enjoyed losing herself in my mane, come to think of it" growled Nightbane with a smile. glancing over at Redclaw, he grunted. "They'll find out in due time. if Manderius was as bad as you say, they'll notice the change themselves very soon" he rumbled encouragingly...

"Probally, they might just notice the change after all, and besides, Manderius only controls about 7 miles of this place. Well, did," Red growled with a reply. She hated the fact that other animals had to fear being slaughtered by Manderius, but refused to leave their homes, so they just decided Manderius controlled their homes and lives. And since Red Claw's family respected other creatures rather than randomly murdering them all, she wanted to see them be happy of not being under the control of fear and terror, by killing Manderius.

OCC: I changed it, I just didn't know that the reserve was ALL of Africa at first.

"I wish I'd met that pup," Whitetip growled wistfully. "She sounds like a bundle of energy."

[UndeadRaptor]

"Yeah, me too," Red Claw grunted with a smirk, looking at Nightbane and White Tip before heading back towards the river.

[The Kingpin]

"Oh i'm sure they will" growled Nightbane as he got up and sat by where Redclaw had chosen to be, waiting for her to return, while the sun began to rise over the horizon. "Maybe sometime in the future i'll take you to meet them" he growled with a smile. "That is...if you intend to stick around"...

Titanis shook his head briefly, the thylacine trying not to fall asleep. All this talk bored him. All he wanted to do was leave his hiding place once the lions had gone and get himself some top class feline flesh... Now, if onl he could remain stealthy and undetected...

"I'm pretty sure White Tip will intend on staying with us, won't you?" Red Claw rumbled, wondering if her sister would stay with her and Nightbane.

Titanis looked more carefully around the dead lion, befor erealizing that the other three lions had left... he must ahve been imagining them still there.. oh well, FREE FOOD! The thylacine bolted from the bush, before haulting short of the kill. Titanis looked to his left and right before be began to rip into the dead lion, blood and bits of organs running down his mouth. To him, nothing tasted better than the flesh of an alpha predator...

"Well, I...I don't really have anywhere else to go," Whitetip growled, suddenly nervous. "You two don't mind?"

"If Redclaw hasn't got a problem, i don't either" growled Nightbane with a smile...

[UndeadRaptor]

"I don't, not at all, mainly because we're family, White Tip," Red Claw rumbled to her sister, trying to make her feel better. "As long as it's ok with Nightbane, it's ok with me, White Tip."

[The Kingpin]

"You're welcome to stay with us as long as you like, Whitetip" growled Nightbane with a smile...

[Hopeflower]

"Thank you both," Whitetip growled, grinning.

Nightbane glanced at the two as he started to groom Redclaw. "You know...you two are the first of my kind i could truely call friends" he growled. "It's been too long since i felt this much peace...with anyone, to be honest" he added as he continued to groom Redclaw...

Whitetip gave her shoulder a self-conscious lick, embarrassed yet warmed by the male's words.

"I feel excited that I know some of our kind is still alive. The reduction in our species made me worried that I was the only one of our kind left, until I met you, Nightbane, then we found White Tip, still alive and well," Red Claw rumbled, continuing to chat with Nightbane and White Tip as she drank. Getting that taste of blood out of her throat made her feel relaxed without that metallic taste in her mouth. "I also feel glad that Manderius is dead. No more misery or suffering taking me over," the lioness added on, taking a big gulp of water in shortly after.
