"Hmm..." Thorn growled. "Do you think you can help her get on my back?" he asked Switchblade. "I'm pretty sure I can carry her, until whatever those humans stuck you with wears off at least."

"My niece's mate's son," Selena growled thoughtfully. "Zheja. So he got caught up in all this too...dunno about running, but I can probably walk without falling on my face." Zheja... Rose thought. That name's...familiar.

The pack had since met up and carried what little food Mwuaji and Viridis had managed to salvage back to their home. Siri and Inculta were now resting side by side. Viridis had sprawled out in the cave entrance, taking a relaxed but still vigilant approach to sentry duty. Astus was still chewing on the last of his share, and Mwuaji had closed his eyes, almost dozing off. It was then that Astus decided to inform them casually, "I saw a mother raptor and her hatchlings just inside our territory today." Siri's soft violet eyes narrowed; Viridis lifted her head. "She looks exhausted, so I didn't chase her off. I watched her for a while; she was feeding herself and her young with fish when I left." "Our fish?" Inculta snarled. He looked just like Astus, but with darker coloring, a black stripe where his brother had a white stripe, golden eyes, and a tail ringed with white and tipped with black. "You should have driven them out, Astus." "It was a mother and her hatchlings!" Siri protested, turning a shocked gaze on her mate. "No one could drive them away in good conscience." "Maybe we should speak with them," Astus growled. "Four more pack members would be a welcome addition," Viridis put in. Mwuaji thought she put too much emphasis on the word welcome. Alright, he got it already; he was a stranger and a mutant. But he was trying to fit in! If only they'd give him a chance to prove himself...an idea suddenly struck him. "I'll go and talk to them," he growled, breaking into the discussion. He got to his feet, walking past Viridis, who looked startled. He looked over his shoulder. "Give me a couple of hours to find and convince her," he growled in farewell, before he slipped out of the cave. He'd heard something about the border closest to the coast...their Western border. He'd start there and keep looking until he found these strangers.

Howler followed his packmates and Dragonfly, who scampered between the legs of the raptors, he tried to get into step alongside Sylicora, though he had to trot for a second to catch up. "So, uh, Sy," he hissed, "Now that we're finally out of that hellhole, you mind if I ask you something?"

"So thats who he is" The green raptor said, nodding. "And about the running..." He growled "...Does someone need another ride-" Aircrest began to say, only to remember that when he was darted, he fell onto the mutant look alike. He blinked a few times before growling "Uh...sorry about...you know...passing out on you before..."

Hazel shook her head and growled "Never mind what I said before. My brother, as you already saw, would never be able to lay down in one spot for long. Unless he was sleeping, of course"

The giga continues to follow his nose until he catches the scent of Triceratops. There was one..... maybe two... that had wandered into this area. They were prime targets for an ambush. The giga began to lumber to a better position, where he could see the trikes as well...

BLackscale kept here eyes locked onto the Allo's, the tyrannosaur ready to spring into action incase the Allo decided to attack. Lurker began to back up until he realized that hehad a massive bodyguard here to "protect" him... Granted, the T-rex probably didn't think of it as such, but to Lurker, had the Rex not been there, he wouldn't feel as secure and would have bolted by now...

Old One Eye grunts before heading back into the jungle, uninterested with the two creatures..... well, maybe the gorgonopsid, but she was not willing to fight a rex over it...

As Flamejaw led her mate and the pack further into the jungle, she suddenly slowed to a stop near a nice area with multiple herbivores and a nice river nearby for a good water source for the group. "Chopper, why not have our territory here?" Flame growled, asking her mate on his thoughts of this area being their territory.

Chopper replied with a bark, "it's perfect, as long as the nests are hidden in the trees and bushes, then we'll be fine." The alpha suddenly jerked his head down and caught a compsognathus walking infront of him, easily crushing the tiny predator's neck, and slammed it on the ground, leaving it for his pack to eat.

the jungle shook with the fight of the two predators, Crusher and Rockfang viciously swinging at eachother, each trying to gain the upper hand. Rockfang swung up at Crusher in an attempt to get a neck bite, Crusher raising his head out of reach and swinging down when the Rex's jaws snapped shut, hitting it over the snout, stunning Rockfang, Crusher moving his head to one side and swinging his head sideways, the blow resulting in a low crack and a groan of pain, Crusher ducking down as Rockjaw recovered and craned his head down, intending to hold Crusher down and break his neck, only for the Tyrannosaur to bring one foot forward almost directly under him, before pushing off, swinging his head up simultaniously, hitting Rockfang's lower jaw with immense force, a loud crack being heard, Rockfang roaring in pain as he stumbled back, thumping against a tree and using it for support, the malformed lower jaw shattered completely from Crusher's blow. he glanced up at the Rex hatefully. with a furious roar he lunged once more, blinded by rage, Crusher sidestepping the charge and slamming his head down on the Rex's back, the blow knocking Rockfang off balance and causing him to stumble forward, hitting the ground hard, skidding to a hault, Crusher walking towards the Rex, which now tried to push away weakly, attempting to get away. "Your time is over, Rex" growled Crusher, his tone chillingly calm for a creature fighting for his life. Rockfang's eyes widened, recognising the line as his own. he tried to speak, but the severe pain of his mangled lower jaw prevented him. Crusher walked forward, putting one foot on Rockfang's flank, before lifting it and kicking down, shattering several ribs, a roar of agony coming from the Rex, Crusher raking his toe claws along Rockfang's flank, finally leaning forward and biting onto one of the Rex's legs, biting down with full force, the lower leg bone shattered, Crusher's teeth connecting, thrashing slightly, the leg completely removed from the knee downwards. the roars of agony came from the crippled Rex for a while as Crusher turned away, his piercing gaze drifting around the area in search of any other challenger. when Rockfang finally ceased, too weak from bloodloss to cry out in pain, Crusher took a long breath, before unleashing a booming territorial roar, ringing out for miles in every direction, hearable all across the island. "Who else wants to claim dominance?! who else wants to try and take what is rightfully mine?!"...

before long, Fatalis walked up to a series of thick bushes. the roars of combat still rang powerfully in the distance. though now, only Crusher could be heard. the roars of agony from his opponents had, by now, ceased. though Crusher's challenge to every other superpredator on the island had Fatalis itching to sprint off and watch what would happen. Fatalis moved back and forth along the bushes as if searching for something, finding it. "Follow me" hissed the Raptor as he pushed into a small gap in the bushes that seemed too small for a raptor to fit, the bushes being pushed aside as the Raptor walked through, two massive boulders framing the little pathway behind it, being the only gap in the row of rocks and boulders that the bushes were growing against. easing through the gap and walking onto the top of the rocks further back, he leapt over them and into what looked like a small cave below him. carefully stepping on the rocks that formed a natural stairway into the cave, he glanced around. a shallow stream ran along the cave floor, and the remains of leaves formed a thick layer to one side of the cave. on the opposite end, a triceratops skeleton could be seen, long since stripped down, easily several years old, cast in light from a hole in the cave ceiling. a small group of compies had made their home in the skeleton, one poking it's head out of the Trike's eye socket, as the tail of another could be seen poking slightly out of the trike's beak, likely asleep...

"Forget it, it's mine! i found it!" hissed one dromeosaur. "WHAT?! oh no no no no. you're forgetting i'm the oldest of us. And i say it's mine. besides, you still owe me for that Compy i caught you last week" responded another, a darker shade of brown than the first. "A COMPY?! A COMPY isn't worth this! It's mine!" hissed the first, shaking what looked like car keys in one clawed hand. "Over my dead body!" responded the first, a third interrupting with "What about me?! I'm the one always standing watch! i get less sleep than any of you! i deserve it for the trouble!". the trio dove at eachother, squabbling and fighting and tumbling into a corner, the keys dropped to the ground, a single claw hooking around the key ring, lifting it up, the jingle of the keys making the dromeosaurs freeze, looking up at who had touched the 'valuable' object. before them was an elderly looking greyish orange raptor, quills extending from his head and neck, as well as his tail. "Actually" hissed the Raptor as he eyed the three with an accusing gaze. "....these are mine. as is this whole structure" finished the Raptor, the Dromeosaurs barely hearing him, instead gazing at the shining necklace around the Raptor's neck, it's sparkling making them completely forget the keys. the three began to split, trying to surround Ripper, the Raptor suddenly leaping, leaving the light that was cast through the window of the structure, disappearing from their sight. "Where'd he go?!" snarled the elder of the three. "I dunno...he jumped and disappeared!" responded the young one. "you idiots. he jumped up through that hole" hissed the third as he pointed up at the ceiling, a fair sized hole visible. "Oh" responded the other two in response. "Needle, Stone, you two go up and chase him down. i'll catch him when he comes" hissed the elder of the three. "So you can grab that shiney thing?! forget it Hook!" responded Needle, the younger of the two. "Besides, that raptor could be anywhere!" added Stone, the Scout. "Alright alright fine. we'll split up and find him that way" argued Hook. "The way i see it, these little...artifacts i've gathered simply split you three up. and you're supposedly a group. so i'll just keep them with me so you three can learn to work together" hissed Ripper as he walked out of a corridor, the three immediately turning at him, Needle lunging, though swiftly knocked out as Ripper sidestepped and swung his tail into the back of the dromeosaur's head as it passed, the light brown dromeosaur skidding to a hault on the floor. "Needle!" screeched Hook as he charged, Stone with him, the two running at Ripper, only to be knocked back almost simultaniously, hit in the chest and knocked to the floor, Ripper snarling lowly at the two. "Now, be good little dromeosaurs, Take your friend and leave. I want my home back...no need for you three to lose your lives over things you're too young to even comprehend" hissed the Elder as he looked down at the two. they looked at eachother, quickly grabbing Needle and scuffling outside, only to see a family of Rexes leering down at them. Hunter smirked, licking his fangs as he eyed them, having overheard the incident inside. Hook and Stone's eyes widened in sheer terror the bolting, running as fast as they could without dropping Needle, disappearing into the undergrowth. Ripper sighed. "Ignorant whelps" he hissed irritably, before walking towards the entrance. "Ah. Hunter. Rampage. Lightning....and Serena too" he growled with a smirk. "To what do i owe the pleasure?" he hissed. "Crusher wanted us to stay here while he cleaned out the territory. he said this would be the safest place for us if Nightshade were to plan anything" growled Lightning. "You let him go?!" barked Ripper in surprise, worried for the Rex. "We didn't have much of a choice. Crusher's surprisingly hard to convince when he's in that kind of mood" explained Rampage with a sigh. Ripper grunted, understanding. "Well, It'd probably be a good idea for Serena to come inside. Carnotaurs are everywhere in this particular part of the island. last thing we want is for her to accidentally get in one's range" growled Ripper, earning a scared look from Serena, who squeezed evermore tightly against her mother's leg, afraid after her last encounter with a Carnotaur. "Leave her here and go get yourselves something to eat. i'm sure you're as hungry as i am after that little debacle with the humans" he added. Rampage looked down at Serena. "You don't mind keeping an eye on her?" growled Rampage. "Of course not. i used to watch Crusher like this all the time when he was her age....mind you....Crusher tried to eat my tail repeatedly back then. but that ws the only trouble i ever got" responded Ripper with a chuckle. Rampage sighed, chuckling at the mental image of a hatchling Crusher nibbling on Ripper's tail. "Alright then. Serena, behave while you're here. we'll be right back" growled Rampage, Serena nodding, running up to Ripper, trying to keep as little distance between her and the Raptor as possible, fearful of the Carnotaurs. "We'll be back as soon as possible" growled Hunter as he turned to leave, Ripper nodding. "Take your time. We'll be waiting" growled the Raptor, before turning back into the lab, Serena in tow, as Hunter, Rampage and Lightning headed for the nearest hunting ground...

As Spike and co. treked into the swamplands, the challenge of Crusher boomed thruought the area. Spiek himself cringed upon hearing the blast of the great predator. No doubt in his absence some poor fool had taken dominance, and Crusher had just dealt with him or her... The last thing Spike wanted was to get involved in a fight with the true ruler of the island...

Blackscale kept watching as the female Allo left, the massive booming roar of Crusher shook through the clearing. The local Brachiosaurs began to move off away from the challengeing roar's origin, scared spiteless of whatever caused it... Lurker himself was shaking in fright... As he tried to pretend that roar didn't happen, he noticed that Blackscale seemed relativly calm, the female T-rex actually looking in the direction of where the roar came from... To Blackscale, that roar came from the direction where her territory was located... Her curoisity now arisen, the black T-rex rose up onto her feet and began to head off in the direction of the roar, Lurker following her. For the gorgonopsid, this large T-rex was his own shelter from other carnivores...

Chopper nearly barked in pain as the sound from the rex's roar pierced his ear holes, making him hiss is surprise from the booming roar made by it. A annoying buzz rang out in his ears as he barked out towards his brother, "Brute! take those two juveniles with you and investigate what's going on!" as he glanced over towards the two omegas of the pack, not even hearing himself speaking to his sibling.

As the juveniles themselfs followed behind Brute, the male growled sarcastically, "why must we always get the fun stuff around here?" "Quiet, you don't want to get in trouble like last time!" the female juvenile hissed in a whisper, nipping the male next to her, the juvenile stopped shortly after getting nipped, releasing a little squeak, before the two continued behind Brute, as the trio went to search for the source of the terrifying roar that they heard only moments ago.

Selena snorted. "Do you have any idea how heavy you are?" she growled jokingly, giving him a nudge. "And you slept like the dead, so I couldn't move you."

Mwuaji was in a bad mood all the way to the border, where he picked up the scent of the female Astus had found...and hatchlings. He slowed his pace and barked to announce himself. The stupidest move he could make in this situation would be blindly charging in. There was a female here; exhausted, Astus had said. And she had hatchlings. Tired or not, any mother would fight ferociously to protect her little ones.

Silver looked up at the strange raptor's call, moving to the cave entrance. it was a male mutant; bigger than her. She let out a warning growl, arching her back in a catlike manner to try and make herself look bigger than she was. As he made to take another step, she let out a snarl, and he froze. He was too close to her new den already. Behind her, Thistle, Carus and Steelclaw were huddled, eyes very wide. "Come any closer and I'll stain the earth with your guts," she growled in a low, serious voice. "State your business, stranger."

"Calm down. My name is Mwuaji," the mutant growled. "I'm not here to fight. You're obviously exhausted, and you're on my pack's territory. I'll give you fair warning; if you're looking for a place to stay, you'll have to find somewhere else...unless you join us."

Silver bared her teeth. "Why should I believe you?" she hissed. Words spoken long ago, by the one she'd considered a father, came back to her. Trust should never be given freely. "Maybe it's a trap...taking me back to your pack, if you even have one, only to be led into an ambush."

"Or maybe it's not a trap, and I'm telling the truth," he growled. "We can provide food for you and your hatchlings. We can give you better shelter than this den. Our cave won't flood when the water rises." His lips twisted wryly. "Or maybe you'd rather scramble about trying to save your little ones when it does flood. Your choice."

Flooding...why hadn't she thought of the risk of flooding? The den, though ideal now, would almost certainly turn into a mud puddle when it rained. And the stream would be prone to bursting its banks too. Silver heaved a sigh. "Okay, okay. Fine. We'll come with you to your pack. But if this is a trap...if my little ones get hurt..." Her own lips pulled back, baring sharp, curved teeth. "I'll hunt you down and make you suffer for a long time before you die, Mwuaji. This, I promise."

Aircrest gave Selena another nuzzle, though this one was an apology. "Dont hold it against me" He growled with a smirk, though he really did feel sorry for what happened. If he hadnt decided to move her, that wouldnt have happened. But then there was the chance they wouldnt have been recaptured. They would still be stuck in the urban jungle while the others would have been brought back. At the mention of the others, he wondered what happened to Ripper, Hellfire, Blade and his friend. He'd have to look for them too and make sure they were alright as well. He was almost certain where Ripper was. He'd be reclaiming the lab. Blade...would be a challenge to find, but not as challenging as finding Hellfire. Putting off the thought for now, Aircrest growled "Lets go meet up with the others. We'll figure out what to do after that..." He looked to Rose and knelt down. "Its gonna be hard following sound at the beach...why dont you just hop on my back and Ill take you there?"

Sylicora blinked. "Sure, what is it?" She slowed down slightly so she could fall into line behind Howler to fit through the rock pathway, Rhojis doing the same behind her. The olive raptor's balance was still off, but her legs at least seemed able to hold her weight as she negotiated the rocky route Fatalis had taken, though a bit more slowly than their leader...

Switchblade nodded once. "Alright. I think I can do that..." She stepped up to the smaller Lili's side and crouched down, noticing how prominent her ribs were on closer inspection. The gray Lili tilted one light blue eye up at her, her gaze now looking less empty and confused, but more... pained...

Renegade had found it, after a few hours of searching. A very old, large tree, with a wide trunk, and a spaced out, roomy hollow up in the branched, standing out easily from the other trees. He whirled up the tree in his unique manner, spiraling around the trunk, and entered the hole, making sure there wasn't anyone there already. Seeing no others, he shambled in, leaning against the side to rest...

Pulsar tipped through the rock pathway, following behind Rhojis, the feeling returning to his legs for the most part, letting him walk fairly normally, without the severe dizziness he was feeling before...

Thorn crouched down as low as he could get to make the job easier on Switchblade and the other of their kind, also noting how painfully thin the gray Lili was. She really wasn't in good condition. Just how long had it been since she'd eaten? "Think you can make it?" he asked her, concerned.

Razorwing spotted Renegade disappear into the tree, and landed on a nearby branch near the hole. "Hey, guess who?" the pterosaur chirped.

After taking in his surroundings for a moment, Howler turned to Sylicora as she entered the cave. "Well, I just wanted to know if you had trouble... getting used to that human forest at first?"

Feeling his legs again, Rainbow scale rose to his feet. He no longer felt sleepy and now confident in walking, took several steps forward. Now more confident, he began walking again and felt perfectly fine, any worry about his legs possibly feeling weak now vanishing. With a grunt, he set off into the jungle, intending to get back to the territory he had missed so long while trapped in the urban jungle on the strange island...

"Welcome to our home" growled Fatalis with a smile as he eyed the others. "Whether we stay here permanently or continue to roam in the future is up to you" he added, before walking to the stream running through the cave. checking it's scent, he found it was clean. he then took a few mouthfuls to be sure, sighing in relief once he had confirmed it...

Crusher unleashed another booming roar, repeating his question to all on the island...

And another traitor bites the dust thought Nightshade with a smirk. Rockfang had been the second most dominant predator on the island after Nightshade, and the Rex knew it was only a matter of time before he was betrayed by the odd-jawed predator. now, that problem resolved itself...How better to rule the island than from the shadows? he pulled the strings, and Crusher took the brunt of the strain of fighting off rivals. It'd give him the perfect opportunity to raise his son Talos, and turn him into an heir that would be a perfect candidate for Crusher's, and his son's, replacement...

As Blackscale headed onward, yet another booming roar blasted into her. No doubt some arrogant T-rex was proclaimin git's dominance upon the island. Blackscale snorted, before responding back with a massive roar of her own, one almost rivaling that of Crusher's. If this T-rex was what used to be her territory... she'd take it down personally. As the black female T-rex headed on toward the source of the challenge, Lurker followed her some feet behind...

Renegade opened his eyes as the voice chirped, vaguely noting that his injured eye had healed over fully, a long scar still visible slashed across his neck and side.
He warily crept up to the entrance to see who it was...

"Hopefully others aren't thinking along the same lines," remarked Pulsar as he made his way in...
