Amani, not sure if Nguvu had heard her, replied by speaking up more clearly, grunting, "I just feel like living alone for a while. I'll be back though," glancing back towards the trio, still waiting for them to respond to her...
"What's the plan?!" - random soldier, Mud and Blood 2.

Nguvu's eyes moved conscernedly towards Uzuri, worried about how she'd take the lioness' decision...

Uzuri's eyes widened slightly. "But...why?" she growled, confused and a little hurt.

"Uzuri, don't worry. I'll be living nearby, just not exactly living with you for a while. Don't worry, I'll be fine," Amani growled, hoping to cheer up her sister. "I just don't really feel like living with anyone for a while, I'll still be nearby in the jungle Uzuri," the lioness rumbled, continuing from where she left off after a short pause.
"What's the plan?!" - random soldier, Mud and Blood 2.

Uzuri stared at her sister for several long moments, her jaw working as she tried to find the words to protest. But in the end she just let out a long sigh and rested her chin on Amani's head. "Just...promise me you'll be careful," she growled. "Don't take stupid risks. If you haven't shown up in a month, I...I'll tear that jungle apart looking for you."

"I promise, Uzuri," Amani growled, looking back towards her sister, beofre glancing over to Nguvu, waiting for his opinion on what she was about to do...

"And then you'll be the one we blame the destruction of all the animals' homes when we find you" added Nguvu to Amani with a smile, trying to lighten Uzuri's mood. Kubwa smiled in the background, though kept silent, still not feeling he was in a position to be personal with the group, even after a month...

Uzuri let out a soft chuckle, letting Nguvu ease the tension that had settled on her shoulders.

A small smile spread across Amani's face, along with a short lived chuckle, as she looked at Nguvu, listening to his joke that had actually cheered up her sister. she then glanced over towards her sister, growling "Well then, I'll have to be the one cleaning up that mess afterwards. Then the animals will be another problem that I'll have to fix."

"Easier solution. Come find us before a month goes by" growled Nguvu with a chuckle. "We should be near a waterfall regardless" he added with a smile...

"Shall we get going then?" Uzuri asked, directing her question at no one in particular, her paws beginning to work in the grass again.

"Or, when a month comes along, we could just all meet up at Night and Lusa's den, and just stay there for about a day or so," Amani growled, before looking down at the ground, not noticing until now that she had been clawing at the soil, creating deep slash marks in the ground below her paws. As Amani looked down, she suddenly thought, "How come I didn't notice this before? I should have been able to feel my claws digging into this dirt."

"Fair enough" growled Nguvu, before looking at Uzuri. "Let's go" he growled, before beginning his walk towards the jungle, giving Amani a nod farewell as he passed, Kubwa repeating the gesture as he began to move...

Amani kept close behind the group until they reached the edge of the jungle, where she turned left and split from the group. "I'll see you guys in a month!" the lioness called out with a growl, before continuing into the dense jungle, looking for a cave or den to use as a home for a few months. She glanced back every now and then, wanting to go back with them, but already wandered too far off into the trees and bushes anyways, and just kept moving to find a ditch or something to sleep in for the rest of the day.

Uzuri called a farewell over her shoulder, padding at Nguvu's side. She looked back more than once, as if the separation pained her more than she let on.

After a while of walking, Amani found a nice little ditch under a tree to rest in, just like the one she had found before, only larger. It appeared abandoned to the lioness, but something else already owned it. She just walked into it and quickly laid down to sleep, passing out shortly after.

As Sharp Claw continued back towards his home, he noticed a new scent in it, a lion's scent. He knew he was no match for a fully grown lion without a pack, and decided to head back to Night and Lusa's new home, and see if he could stay with them until he could get his home back. "If they don't allow me to live with them until that lion moves out, I'll have to find a new home, and finding that ditch was already hard enough," Sharp growled to himself as he trotted off to the cliff he was on almost a month ago...

Nguvu kept walking through the jungle, checking the air and looking at his surroundings. the smell of water and the roar of the waterfall not far from them told him he was on the right track. Nguvu smiled to Uzuri, growling "Hear that?"...

Sharp Claw had finally reached the cliff soon after abandoning his home, and retraced his steps to Night's new cave. "Night? Lusa? Anyone here at all?" the wolf suddenly barked, before continuing along the cliff's top. He the rumbled loudly, "hello? Is anyone here?" just before stopping, to sniff the air for their scents...

A low growl was Sharpclaw's reply, a pair of blue eyes gleaming from the back of the cave before disappearing as their owner turned back to the black pup.

Uzuri pricked her ears, hearing the sound of crashing water. "Is that it?" she asked, unable to keep her excitement from creeping into her voice.

"mhm" growled Nguvu with a smile. as he pushed through the bushes and between the trees, the roar of the crashing falls grew louder, the trees clearing to reveal the shore of a fairly large pool. before them was a waterfall, easily 30 feet high. all around them the calls of birds rang out, the howls of primates in the trees and the chittering of large numbers of insects forming a natural orchestra. Nguvu stepped aside to let Uzuri see for herself, the waterfall ahead crashing down like liquid silver, thick wisps of water vapour rolling over the surface of the water from the waterfall, clouding the surrounding area in a faint mist, the sunlight cast at such an angle that a rainbow was visible across the water's surface. on the rocky cliff face were long hanging vines descending from above, as well as growing up from below, moss and lichen growing in abundance all around the waterfall, Nguvu noting that the falls had what looked like a rocky path arching in behind it, the path wet from the water, but easily wide enough for something his size to pass through. on the other side of the pool, a young deer lowered it's head to drink, not considering the lions a threat because of the distance between them. parrots and macaws of various types flocked in the trees, clustered in groups, split up occasionally by the occasional song bird. the croaks of frogs were audible, Nguvu catching sight of one leaping from the shore of the pool into the water, a bird swooping down from one of the trees and into the water, emerging moments later with the frog in it's beak, fluttering back into a tree to feed on it's prize. "What do you think?"...
