Night's ears twitched with interest. Lusa, who had been enjoying a nuzzle from Uzuri, turned quickly. "A waterfall? No way! Can we go, Night? Please? Please please pleeeaaasee can we go?" the black pup yipped excitedly. Her eyes widened, giving off a cute, pleading expression as her tail wagged hopefully. Night took one long look at the pup and let out a long sigh. "One day, that look won't work," she growled, shooting a playful glare at Lusa. Lusa barked triumphantly and started running excited circles.

"When that day comes there'll be other ways to persuade her" whispered Nguvu with a smirk to Lusa as he turned around. "Alright then. let's get moving. your choice whether your 'friend' here comes with us or stays behind" he growled as he eyed Night over his shoulder...

Lusa barked a laugh and trotted to the lion's side. Night glanced over her shoulder at the male. He had been looking for a home, hadn't he? That didn't necessarily mean he was looking for a pack too. He'd probably be fine on his own. Unless he did something stupid, like pick a fight with a bear or fall down the cliff. "You were looking for a place to stay. The cave's yours if you want it." She turned to follow Nightbane, Lusa and Uzuri. "See you around, Sharpclaw."

Nguvu walked out of the cave, heading towards the rocky descent they climbed from, before suddenly pausing. "Night...is there an easier way down the cliff?" he growled...

"Maybe." Night stood just looking down at the cliff for a while, looking for an easy path down. Only the fact that her blue eyes flicked from side to side showed that she was actually scanning the rock wall and not zoning out. After a little while, she growled, "Got it. Follow me, and watch where you put your feet. Wouldn't want to end up caught in a rockslide." She picked Lusa up, ignoring the pup's complaint, and began a slow descent, using a rocky, zig-zagging path that led to the foot of the cliff.

Nguvu followed, making sure to be careful with his footing as they descended. despite his experience with unusual terrain, it didn't make things any more pleasant when moving on unstable ground...

As Sharp Claw continued close behind Night, Lusa, and their two friends, he growled, "it'd be just plain stupid if I continue staying alone out here. Way to much dangers when your on your own." He leapt onto a barely stable boulder on accident, quickly jumping off onto a part of the cliff that wasn't unstable, watching the giant rock tumble down the side of the cliff, still hurt from what the male lion had done to him earlier...

Night flinched as the boulder crashed noisily down the cliff face. She froze, ears pricked, every muscle tense, listening for the telltale signs of a rockslide-in-progress. When all she heard were the fading echoes of the boulder's descent, she slowly relaxed, though the fur on her shoulders bristled with annoyance. "Idiot," she snarled around her mouthful of black fur. "Are you trying to get us killed? Don't pull stupid stunts like that unless you've got a death wish." Uzuri gave a shiver as the white wolf moved on even more cautiously than before. She had no wish to be crushed to death by rocks.

"I was hoping for that rock to be pried into the side of this cliff," Sharp growled in annoyance and a little bit of fright, not wanting to be flattened out by rocks falling down the side of the cliff. "I'm NOT touching a single rock until we're off this thing now, it's way to dangerous and risky," the wolf rumbled, scolding himself for the mistake he made, just loud enough for everything nearby him to hear. "Why did I even do that! Am I that dumb?" soon he thought to himself, "if only I was still with my family..."

Nguvu eyed the wolf strangely. it was certainly unusual....strange. ignoring the seeming incompetence of the wolf, Nguvu continued onwards, descending to the bottom, before taking the lead towards the waterfall...

Kubwa meanwhile, did what he could to entertain himself by splashing a little puddle under his paws and watching it reform. the silence was killing him. he wasn't used to not being able to talk to someone. this was probably the first time in his life where he was forced into silence under such circumstances....he couldn't even socialise.....and with every passing minute, he dreaded living the rest of his life like this more and more. Nguvu....please come back soon thought the lion uncomfortably, watching the puddle reform and settle, showing him just how visibly miserable he was. anyone who looked at him would be able to tell that...

Night set Lusa down and the pup dashed ahead of her, clearly excited. Night and Uzuri padded along side by side. Uzuri was wondering how the male wolf could be so dim-witted. Night was thinking they were damn lucky that he hadn't started a rockslide. As it was, he'd probably just scared everything worth eating away from the area, and she was beginning to get hungry, adding to her annoyance with him.

Amani walked over towards Kubwa, and looked down at him, noticing how miserable he was. "Kubwa, is something wrong?" she soon growled, still watching him, waiting for his response. She soon looked down, a little miserable herself, thinking, "did I cause this to happen to him? Was I ignoring him to the point where he didn't even want to see me?"

Kubwa looked up, his eyes dull. "Oh...nothing. Just wishing i....wishing i was at least trusted enough to be....talked to" he grumbled. "But then....maybe that's just my fault...being hated....where i'm likely to spend the rest of my life" he added ponderingly, his tone as miserable as his face....

"What? You think I don't trust you? I just went out of the cave for a few minutes to get this blood off of my snout, and the reason I wanted to be alone was so I could be a little more free, not to be away from any of you," Amani suddenly growled, annoyed and less concerned about why Kubwa was so miserable in the first place. 'so, this is why he appears so miserable, just because he thought he wasn't trusted? Well, atleast he won't tell a lie," she soon thought to herself, looking a little angered at the lion nearby her...

"yeah...right" growled Kubwa sadly, not believing the lioness, the attitude that came with her words hinting that she was just trying to cover up the facts. "So you decide to get up at the first attempt of a conversation and rush out for a drink" he grumbled...

Amani started calming down, and continued with a rumble, "do you really think I can go on my whole life without water? I was going to finish our coversation when I came back into the cave, but it looked to me like you didn't even want to talk." She looked straight at Kubwa's face, still getting calmer and calmer each passing second, knowing that he would most likely not even believe her even though she spoke the truth...

"You could've at least said something before walking off....it looked like you didn't want to talk at all" growled Kubwa lowly, though somewhat less depressed now that at least something was being said...

"Yeah, I could've, but I guess I was being a little to myself when I went to gte a drink, sorry, Kubwa," Amani somewhat silently growled, her head lowering slightly. "Why couldn't I have told him I just needed a drink?" she soon thought to herself, raising her head quickly back up, hoping Kubwa hadn't noticed how mad she was at herself...

"It's ok" growled Kubwa, relieved to a degree at the apology. "It's just....I want to know more about who i'm living with...i've been so wrapped up in trying to prove myself to Nguvu that i haven't had the chance to get to know you or Uzuri...but seeing as i may well be with you three for the rest of my life...i figure now's a good time to start" he explained...

"Well, I do have enough time to speak with you for a while, anyways," Amani lowly growled, slightly cheering up, smacking a stone with her paw into the lake that was being filled with the waterfall just above them, the rock skips a few times across the watery surface, before sinking, as the lioness waits for some questionfr from Kubwa. She then walks closer to the roaring waterfall, and soaks her head with a large amount of water, lowering her head lower than it already was, her fur all lowered towards the rocky ground below, some droplets of the liquid drip onto the rocks...
