"hm" grunted Blade in thought, agreeing. "Thing is...it's been years since i last had a dream like that" he growled...

"I like to think that I make it clear where my boarder lies, raptor!" The Tyrannosaur rumbled irritabley, revealing itself to be an old female. Numerous scars run across her body from a life time of fighting and protecting her territory. "Tearing down trees..." Aircrest barked inbetween breaths. "...I took it as a cry for attention"
"Stop and take a look at these marks across my flank and its blatantly obvious I get my fair share of 'attention'." The Tyrannosaur snorted. "No thanks!" Aircrest growled, jumping over a fallen log. "I rather like living!"
"Tempting fate like this is a plea for death, raptor!" The elder Rex boomed. "Not so damn loud!" Aircrest screeched in response, looking back for a split second to see his pursuer's face. The Tyrannosaur had deep brown eyes that made Aircrest think of Hazel, suprisingly. He didnt expect to pull a likeness of his sister from something that wanted to kill him. But then again, he hasnt expected most things in his lifetime. "And the fact of the matter is, sh*t like this is a part of my life" He added a short moment later, pushing the thoughts out of his head. "Oh? Is that so? Well, perhaps this is where that life ends" The dark gray Rex growled, lowering herself and swinging her massive head about, jaws open. Aircrest saw the giant's head coming from the corner of his eye and instinctively turned away, speeding off at a diagonal and hearing the Rex's jaws snap shut behind him. "Looks like you were wrong, there!" Aircrest barked. "Care for another try!?" He continued looking back at the T-rex. He then let his mouth hang open, flapping his tongue at the giant. She glared at him and snarled "You know not how serious this is, do you?!" Aircrest hissed "Ive been doing this for years, Tyrannosaur, I know all too well what the risks are. And, damn it, its what makes this fun!" He turned his head about. The branches in this area were still intact. Aircrest smirked and sprung up onto one, before shooting off onto another and another, heading high into the canopy and out of the Rex's reach. The tremors slowed until it was clear the Rex was simply standing below, looking up into the leaves. She let out a frustrated roar before ramming the tree bark. The tree shuddered and leaves rained down. The impact almost dislodged Aircrest from his perch high above, his claws dug into the timber. Though the branches higher up werent as thick and strong as the lower ones, they were the branches out of range of the Tyrannosaur's jaws. Stealthily, Aircrest shifted through the leaves, careful as to not make any noise, slipping into another tree while the giant's attention was fixed on the other one. He then made a hasty retreat, his heart still pumping from the encounter...

"Knowing him, he's pissed off a big carnivore or two," Selena growled, snapping another young fern's stalk at the base. "But he's more than likely fine."

Alira shifted, her hand falling from the young male's shoulder. "Maybe the stress of being taken to that...place, then being brought back here triggered something," she growled, cocking her head.

"Maybe" growled Blade with a faint nod. "Maybe...I guess this is a sign i'm not as much at peace with my past as i thought i was" he growled thoughtfully. after several moments of silent thought, he sighed. "I'm glad you're here" he growled lowly, a relieved smile on the Allosaur's features...

Hazel shot Selena a confused look before turning to look at the ferns. "You say that like its an everyday thing for you!" She growled, but there was a short silence after when she took a second to think about what she had said. Things like that probably was the norm for the old female, after what she had saw happen earlier that day, even before the humans. "You really are alright with his habits?" She asked before blinking a few times

Aircrest finished climbing down a tree once he was sure he was out of the Tyrannosaur's territory. The stream continued a long ways off from the boarder though. The raptor walked over to the edge and dipped his snout into the water, quenching a thirst built up from the run. His head bobbed up and down as he lapped up the cool water. When he raised his head, water ran down his maw and dripped onto the grassy floor. "Hazel's gonna give me so much crap for that..." He grumbled as he looked around the visably less dense jungle around him. "This is one story Im not gonna tell her...Selena too for that matter" He snorted as he thought of where to go now. He decided to contine following the river, and with that started to trot along its bank. There werent much bushes around him, which Aircrest was happy for. He didnt like the feeling of the branches scraping across his hide

Resting in the shade of a large monkey puzzle tree, Blackscale opened up a single eye. She had dazed off without knowing it, and now the Gorgonops that had followed her wasn't to be seen. the tiniest traces of a smile could be seen on the Rex's face as she fell back to sleep. The area here was filled with grassland, which meant there lere loads of herbivores around, though they tended to be mainly at the watering hole. If he had goen off to find prey, he would have had to follow the smell of water...

Lurker flattened his body against the ground, the hunter crept forward, eyeing his quarry. about 400 yards infront of him, a small herd of Scutosaurus, the heavily built beasts grunting in unison as they made their way on down to the edge of a large pond. As Lurker watched, his eyes drifted off abit, showing him just how many animals there were at the watering hole. A trio of Anatotitan were drinking at the far end, while a lone Stegosaurus watched on from behind them. the trees to their right parted as a small group of Camarosaurs emerged from a groove of Cycads, they too heading to the watering hole. Now Lurker realized why the female T-rex had made her territory here... with all the prey coming to one main area, the hunting was rather easy here...

Kronos and Lehra awaken form their rest, claiming the small mangrove of trees as their own. There was little to hunt, so they would have to travel, but it was good to be able to have a palce to rest......

Gothmog lumbered along, exploring a bit before heading back towards his kill........

Selena sighed quietly. "It's not that I'm not worried that he'll bite off more than he can chew," she growled. "I am. But I understand that his habits are part of the way he is. I can't pick and choose which parts of him to accept and love and which parts to reject. If I can't love him and respect his decisions, even if I don't agree, then I have no right to love him at all."

Alira looked away, slightly embarrassed, not knowing what to say. She finally went with, "I'm glad I'm here too."

Blade smiled. "In the past there were things that i couldn't talk about regardless of who they were. but now...with you around, i don't feel that...limitation...anymore. having someone who understands what it's like to have a past like we've had...really makes coping with it when it comes back to haunt you, easier" he explained. even with Crusher and Darkness being equivelents of fathers to him, there were some things he just didn't feel comfortable speaking to them about. he couldn't say why. perhaps because he knew that their responses would be to crush those memories and put them behind him. something he knew was probably the right thing to do, but at the same time, not the thing that he needed to do. perhaps it was something to do with species. as if being an Allosaur changed much about how history effected him. it was a confusing thing...and something he didn't have the answer to yet...

"Enjoying being home again, Aircrest?" hissed a familiar voice in one of the trees ahead of him, the black and orange Deinonychus lounging leisurely in one large branch, obviously enjoying himself. his wasn't the only scent in the area though...there was at least one other Deinonychus in the area, if not more...

"It makes me all tingly on the inside" Aircrest growled, stopping to look up into the tree. Pinpointing the sound, he jumped up onto the tree trunk and hauled himself up it a few feet before kicking off onto a branch. From there he could see the flame hided Deinonychus. "I see your doing well. Friends of yours?" He barked, reffering to the other scents in the area.

"You love him enough to accept that part of him?" Hazel growled, raising a scaley eyebrow. She smiled a small smile and growled "Aircrest just may be the luckiest raptor alive. Just hope he stays...living"

"I think it's a lone Deinonychus. recently lost her pack. that, or it's a couple or so. not many. It's about time i started rebuilding my life. all i've done since i lost my family was go downhill. it's time i corrected that mistake" hissed the Deinonychus with a shrug...

"I see, I see" Aircrest growled nodding. "I had a hunch that was the case when your scent trail went off so far into the jungle. Didnt think I'd run into you here, though." He growled as he laid down on the branch. "So...your gonna try to start a new flame?" Aircrest growled with a smirk, purposely describing his friend getting a new mate as such

Fury continued to the circle the larger Rex, knowing he had to fight defensively, if he had even a microscopic chance of winning...

Selena rumbled an agreement as she broke off one last fern. "This should be enough to get started," she growled. "If we need more, there should be plenty left."

Alira's maw curved in a small smile. "True," she growled. She knew from experience that Blade was right. "Better to get things off your chest than to keep quiet and let your troubles eat away at you...that builds rage. Resentment. Even cruelty." She paused before adding a little more quietly, "I'm glad you trust me enough to talk about it."

Blade smiled. "I'm glad you're willing to hear it" he growled simply, giving Alira a brief, affectionate nuzzle...

"We'll have to see" growled Hellfire, ignoring the joke....

Crusher lunged forward suddenly, his jaws swinging down as the closed, intentionally falling short of the target as Crusher swung upwards as he advanced, his skull swinging up into Fury's neck, aiming to bludgeon the windpipe...

"Try not to burn her with your love" Aircrest growled, letting out a bit of hissing laughter. "I could go on like this for days...sadly Ive got other things that I need to do" Aircrest continued on, pretending to be saddened by the end. He let out a sigh and growled "Well, Im off. Good luck to you" As he hopped off the branch, though he did so in a way that let Hellfire get a breif glimpse of his reptillian smirk one last time before he hit the ground.

"Great" Hazel growled, standing up with some ferns in her clawed hands. "...If you dont mind me asking, though, does it ever get..hard to just look past the things Aircrest does?" she added, knowing that its only a matter of time until someone's limit is reached...

Fury pulls his head back like a snake waiting to strike, lunging forward as Crusher's head swings up, closing his jaws shut on the side of the larger Tyrannosaur's neck...

Surprised by the gesture, Alira blinked a few times. Her small smile grew a bit as her heart gave an odd flutter in response. Ignoring her reaction and what it might mean, she growled simply, "I'm always willing to listen when someone needs to talk."

the momentum of the upwards blow forced Fury's jaws to skid off in a trail of gashes, Crusher, freed from the bite, swinging his head back down over Fury's, dazing the Rex before ramming into him sideways, knocking him to the floor, the disorientation caused by the blow meaning Fury wasn't in a state to roll with the blow, leaving him to take the brunt of the fall full on. a rattling snarl came from the Patriarch as he eyed the younger Rex...

"I seem to remember you refused to talk to anyone" growled Blade with a smirk, remembering when they first met at that stream so long ago...

Alira snorted, looking away and giving him a gentle smack with her tail. "Well, I was hardly going to pour my heart out to the odd compy that crossed my path, or my next meal," she growled jokingly.
