Banescale looked back and forth at the raptors, "No, I cant say I've ever even fought an oviraptor, why..?"

[Pyronychus]

Sylicora had silently lowered her gaze to the ground, the sincerity in the raptor leader's voice making her eyes start to cloud again. She heard the conversation and saw movement out of the corner of her eye, but still didn't look up, afraid if she said any more, it would bring on another wave of anguish...

[Hopeflower]

"You see, there's this pack of Oviraptors who have been pressing at our borders," Inculta went on smoothly, taking a few steps away from the other raptors and indicating that Banescale should follow him. "They're becoming a real nuisance. We've been meaning to teach them a lesson for a while now...show them they can't push us around. Your skills might come in handy."

Siri reached out and laid a hand on the younger female's shoulder. "I'm sorry you had to go through something like that," Siri growled quietly, putting the new stranger out of her mind for now. Her motherly side had taken control, urging her to comfort Sylicora as much as she could.

[SniperSaurus]

Banescale was a little confused at the moment, so instead of thinking clearly, he started off, following the raptors.

[Hopeflower]

"We're not aiming to slaughter them," Inculta growled, glancing at the newcomer. "No. We want to get our point across. So instead of killing them...we crush their future. Make it clear that this is our territory, and their pack can't settle here."

[C S]

"Would you be happy if we just...stayed like this?" Aircrest growled. "Just us...maybe a few friends and aquaintances occasionally, but for the most part just...us" Aircrest asked, resting his head on his wrists

[SniperSaurus]

Bloodscale cocked his head sideways and looked at the raptor "How in the world do we do that?"

[Hopeflower]

"Raid their nest," Inculta growled. "Destroy their eggs...and any young they may already have. We've been watching them for some time, so we know when there will be the fewest adults around to fight."

[SniperSaurus]

"Sounds simple enough, but will you be joining me?" Banescale asked with his head on a pivot looking for the Oviraptors.

[Hopeflower]

"A few of the pack will be," Inculta growled. "You're not the only newcomer we've had lately..."


Selena looked away for a moment. She knew she'd never make a good mother. With her restless nature, hating the thought of settling down with any amount of time, if they had hatchlings she'd likely end up accidentally abandoning them. "Yeah," she growled, looking back at her mate. "I'd be fine with that."

[SniperSaurus]

Banescale bared his teeth in excitment "Just tell me when," He hissed, ready to kill for the chance to join a new pack.

[C S]

Aircrest let out a sigh of relief, his major worry now put to rest. The subject of hatchlings was something he'd debated with himself for a while now, and he was glad that he could finally stop. Now he could finally rest easy, knowing that he had all the time in the world to be with his love alone. It might have been a selfish desire, but he couldnt see living his life any other way. What else could be expected from two loners? At least his past wouldnt repeat itself, as he had feared. The irony in that being, if he had kept his troubles to himself as he had in the past, he would have lost his mind and left his mate for the second time in his life. Did this mean that he had grown a bit, like what Ripper had told him? He put the thought out of his mind. "I really do love you" Aircrest growled to his mate, before sneezing again.

[Hopeflower]

Inculta nodded. "Soon," he promised. "We can't attack in the middle of the night. The whole pack will be in their little 'camp.' We'll strike at dawn. I'll wake you and the others and let them know the plan then."


Selena couldn't hep but smile. "And I love you."

[SniperSaurus]

"Fine, I'll be around their camp preparing." And with that Banescale slunk off to study the area so he could have the perfect spot, where they couldnt see him, but he could see them.

[C S]

"I'd nuzzle you, but I dont want to get you sick" Aircrest growled as he stood up. "Sorry for waking you" He added sheepishly. "Ill go find somewhere else to rest, so my sneezes dont keep you up" He barked

[The Kingpin]

".....Well that was interesting" growled Fatalis with a quirk of his brow as he eyed the raptors...

[Hopeflower]

"Don't worry about it," Selena growled with a chuckle, yawning right after she spoke. "You just focus on resting and getting better. We want you to recover, not to get the rest of us sick."


Inculta watched the newcomer go before letting out a bark to tell Astus and Siri that he was heading back to the cave. He turned in that direction and started off, wanting to make sure Viridis and Mwuaji weren't giving Silver and her hatchlings too much trouble.

"You're telling me," Astus muttered. "Predators of all sizes are just stepping over the scent markers tonight. It's not usually like this," he added, half to himself. "Spinosaurs normally don't live or hunt around here. So...why would they start all of a sudden?"

[The Kingpin]

"It's because alot of the island's creatures have just returned from a human island. My pack and i are among them. we were left on the shores nearby, so any creature heading for their own territories elsewhere on the island would end up crossing others' territories. in this case, yours" hissed Fatalis in response...

[Hopeflower]

"A human island?" Astus growled, surprised, cocking his head. He exchanged a glance with Siri, who looked just as startled as he felt. "Why would humans take us from our home?"

[C S]

"Ill try my best to...do nothing for a while" Aircrest growled, scratching his lower jaw as he turned away from his mate, heading towards the beach. "That was weird to say" He mumbled to himself as he started to walk off
