Senior technician bowed his head slightly, his dark blue helmet glinting in the light, the helmet's eye pieces flipped up, revealing the technicians eyes, behind a transparent mask. He replied "Greetings! Senior technican Matamata of SC customs station 1. This is junior technican Drekel" Drekel waved "Hi!"
He kept his visor closed, relying on the helmet's sensors rather than his own.

Matamata unclipped a large metal suit case from his back, walking forward and setting it down on the ground. He looked to Isna "We wouldn't dare think you intend to bring anything dangerous to Ka'roll, however, it's as they say. One species hair dryer is another species Cardio venomous synarma extract." He chuckled and knelt down infront of the suit case, checking it.

Drekel almost immediately begun to wander off. He plonked his load down on the floor, a large crate, before moving for a closer look at the engineers. A small antennea perked up from the suit control unit on his back, as began passively taking readings of the surroundings. The small backpack like extrusion was the 'brain' of his suit, and also generated it's power.

'Nosolee glanced at Drekel suspiciously, but said nothing. His Fleet Master assured him that the Koults weren't going to cause them any trouble. How much he trusted 'Taralumee's judgement, however, was a different matter entirely. Confident that the several Minors overseeing the lower-ranking Covenant could keep Drekel from wandering somewhere he didn't belong, 'Nosolee turned to Matamata. "What are these for?" he asked, motioning towards the suitcase and crate...

Matamata opened the case, revealing a control panel embedded into the lid and about 15 small metallic discs inside it. He replied proudly "These are our assistants!"

He twisted a nob on the control panel, the LCD screen next to it lighting up and beginning to boot. One of the discs began to hum, before rising into the air slowly, held by four small jets arranged in a square around it's rim.

He explained further "We use these little guys to help us cover ground quickly. They'll zip around collecting data and searching for anything suspicious."

Drekel pointed his arm up at the various craft held in storage above the spacious hanger, his wrist scanner activating and shining it's beam around the room. He pointed it at a few of the aliens scurrying around as well, recording everything he observed.

'Nosolee shrugged. "Very well. Are they armed in any way?" he asked. An Engineer floated down from the ceiling of the hangar, stretching a tentacle towards Drekel's wrist scanner. The biomechanical creature's tendril split into many, almost microscopic cilia at its tip, probing the scanner with intense curiosity...

Matamata replied idely "No but if they crash into ya it can give you an awful bruise. Watch your head."
After keying in a few more parameters, the rest of the drones activated and hovered up, running through various tests before being released.
Drekel waved the Engineer away before heading off to explore further, heading for a door chosen at random.

One of the Minor Sangheili noticed Drekel wander off, and followed him, growling, "Hey! No leaving without an escort! 'Fleet Master 'Taralumee's orders."

'Nosolee ducked under the drones as they buzzed by, and said, "What exactly are you looking for, anyway? If it's weapons, you might as well call those things back now. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that this is a warship."

Matamata replied without looking up from his work "We're mostly collecting data on your species actually. By mapping out the ship and identifying objets of creature comfort and so forth we can make pretty accurate guesses as to your basic needs. They're observing your crew and its movements as well, collecting more social info, to make communication easier.
Of course, they're also doing a basic inventory of the ship's chemical composition, which would be invaluable if your ship were to suddenly explode in our upper atmosphere, scattering god knows what kind of radioactive goop all over our planet." He shuddered some what "The clean up would be horrible."

"We're also scanning for any signs that your ship was tampered with or if it has any stow aways. We're currently at war with some robots, so procedure and what not."

Drekel looked back at the sanghelli, red eye pieces glowing errily. He replied in a friendly manner "Oh right, it's fine, you can join me if you want. Very interesting ship."
He went back to looking around idely going through the door and marveling at the structure of the ship, the way the metal was formed, the archeticture.

The Imperial Fleet that had invaded GCM space dispersed itself throughout space. They had gathered the data needed and soon enough... they would return. They had taken heavy casualties but they had also inflicted heavy casualties as well. Surely enough the enemy now knew who they were facing and that retaliation was imminent...

The Minor groaned inwardly, but followed nonetheless, saying, "Try not to go too far. The Fleet Master wants you to leave as soon as inspection is done. He's eager to get back underway."

'Nosolee nodded understandably. "I suppose that's harder than merely asking Fleet Master 'Taralumee, but beggars can't be choosers..."

Matamata shrugged "What can I say? Orders are orders. The brass wants primary research, things we've seen and observed ourselves. It shouldn't take too long, about an hour tops but probably less."
The small drones had already dispersed, mapping the ship and taking various readings.

Drekel flicked through the filters in his helmet's eye pieces, studying the interior of the walls, how the ship was wired electrically, he chose another junction at random, intending to do a short loop back to the hanger.
Searching the entire ship was impractical, so they had to collect as much data as they could from the small space they had time to inspect.

The Minor followed Drekel in silence, avoiding patrolling Grunts and Jackals that passed them through the hallways. A pair of massive Hunters appeared as well, rounding the corner and nearly running right into Drekel. The worms inside their armored bodies vibrated, creating a deep rumble of irritation that was felt more than it was heard, their armored spines quivering at the intruder. The Minor stepped forward, barked something at the Mgalekgolo, and they settled down. Nonetheless, what passed for their heads continued to watch Drekel warily...

'Nosolee sighed and looked around, deciding to keep an eye on the business he was really assigned to watch: the work in the hangar area. He was confident that Matamata wasn't going anywhere...

Drekel glanced at the towering creature and said "Hi guys!" before continuing on. He eventually found what he'd be looking for. A force field door. He stopped, examining it intently for a while, before reaching into a pouch on his waist and taking out a slender probe, spending a moment to adjust the tip of it...

The shield covered the front of a hatch leading into the corridor that connected to the bridge, as an extra security measure. The Elite narrowed his eyes. "What are you doing?" he asked warily...

Drekel replied, still setting up the probe "Just checking out your fielding tech" With that, he jabbed the probe into the field. There wasn't really any need to be worried about repurcussions, his suit would protect him against any defensive mechanism.

The Minor simply grunted and watched silently. He didn't like these aliens probing a Covenant ship for everything, but he didn't have much say in the matter...

Krythnriin and his friends enter the room with the ship, fully clothed. Kluyr turns to the queen.

Chuk-Runuk looks down, almost saddened at the point, as she hisses for two workers to lead her guests to their ship. "I hope to see you all again soon, if you can ever come back," the queen mother chirped, before moving out of the way as the two workers came to guide the Saurians...

The workers soon reach the Saurian ship, before bowing and offering to help move the ship somewhere on the surface for a better take off, one hissing, "We could carry your ship up to the surface so you could have a much easier time leaving here." The other just looked at her elder sister and waited to see if their guests wanted to move the ship out of the super colony to the heavily defended area in case of another attack, but still believed the defences would never hold against any real attack put up on the colony itself due to the little resistance...

Kluyr responds to the worker.

"That would be nice. The ship isn't meant to fly upwards unfortunately, so it will need a little bit more space to take off."

Krythnriin whispers something to Mhlrtr and the saurian chuckles at the statement.
