[TyrannoTitan]

Free to support their brethren, the ranged Tyranids opened fire on the horde of Arachnids, a few Pyrovores moving to the forefront, spewing jets of fire at the insectoid creatures...

The rumbling reaching its loudest, a gargantuan creature, dwarfing the Burrower Bug in overall size, bursting from the dirt below, its limbs hacking into the tunnel the arachnid made, completely splitting the creature in two with its scythe-like limbs, before diving back into the earth, carrying part of the Burrower with it. The Viragon destroying their current obstacle, the battered Tyranid group moved back to the task at hand without delay...

Geero sighed in disappointment when he discovered that the ship was mostly empty. Understandable for a single-person craft, but--the Salarian's thoughts were cut off when he spotted something next to the control panel. Plucking the golden necklace from the console, he eyed it curiously, then grinned. "What do we have here? A little heirloom of hers? Well, it's certainly better than nothing." He walked back outside soon after, still holding the necklace, followed by his soldiers. "Well, she's obviously not Cerberus," he remarked. "Disappointing. I was hoping we actually got one this time. Oh well. At least she has something of value." He raised the necklace and dangled it in Jessica's face. "Thanks, by the way! Captain Morleon will get something out of this, I'm sure..."

The Arachnid wave was simply exhausted by this point, and once again, it trickled to a stop...

The Brain Bug rumbled in fury. This new arrival would certainly be a lot of trouble, and these beasts were doing nothing more than wasting all of its children. It needed a better plan...

Without hesitation, the main Tyranid host moved deeper into the hive...

The Viragon staying distance below them, the other group of Tyranids pushed further in their own route, their numbers barely a fraction of what they were...

Jessica saw what the man had taken. "Give that back, you worthless walking trash pile!" Jessica snarls. "That was a gift from my father!"

Dylan's merchant ship slowly floated through space, the crew moving around and making sure everything was in order. "Guys, seems like we're picking up some distress signal," a pilot soon called out, Dylan responding by saying, "lock onto it. We'll follow it and see if there is anything good to get from whatever is out there..."

Geero pulled away, and two Eclipse soldiers restrained Jessica. "Oh, you've got quite a mouth on you!" Turning back to Jessica's ship, he continued, "You know, it'll be child's play to override any lockdowns in your ship and take it for Morleon too..." He smirked and walked into the ship, his soldiers following, one of them throwing Jessica's weapon carelessly aside, letting it fall next to a nearby rock. "All of you, with me. You two," Geero pointed at the two humans holding Jessica, "Execute her, and bring the gunship back when you're done." With that, the Salarian stepped aboard the Heroine with his men, and soon enough, it took off, flying away, towards the mining facility. As the ship disappeared into the clouds, the two Eclipse mercs threw Jessica away and pulled out their Avenger assault rifles. "Just hold still," one said. "It'll make this much easier for you!"

Suddenly, in unison, two Burrower Bugs appeared, one passing over each tunnel the Tyranids were in. As the passed over, they let out subsonic rumbles from their wormlike bodies, powerful enough to cause both tunnels to suddenly collapse in front of the invaders, blocking their way with massive amounts of debris. The two Burrowers then fled, leaving the Tyranids to clean up their mess...

Meanwhile, in the Omega Nebula, a freighter drifted near the Omega 4 Relay, as if waiting patiently for something to appear...

Jessica grunts. The mercs had luckily forgotten to take her pistols while they had her under their control. She quickly draws her magums and fires at the two mercenaries...

The Tyranids stopped, a Trygon and Mawloc of the main host moving to dig out the collapsed tunnel, while the Viragon rumbled back to the level the Tyranids were on, clawing out a gargantuan tunnel of its own for them to use...

The Flaming Skulls' ship's engines begin roaring violently, the ship itself breaking into hyper-space towards the signal. "Anything draws a weapon and attacks us, kill it," Dylan simply stated, watching out of the main view port of the ship, the front of it, looking at the streams that were stars quickly pass by them...

Suddenly, the earth exploded as the two Burrowers reappeared, right on top of the Viragon. They clamped onto its back with their lamprey-like mouths, tearing out chunks of its flesh, before letting go and tunneling away again...

The Eclipse mercs didn't even have time to curse before the bullets hit them, penetrating their relatively thin armor and knocking them flat on their backs. One was dead from the shot in the chest, but the other was simply injured, clutching his wounded shoulder and groaning. "You... little b**ch..."

"Alright, get ready boys!" The Batarian named Balak shouted raucously. His fellow Batarian slavers all gathered around in the spacious cargo bay, several of them keeping their four eyes on the crowd of human slaves huddled near the center. Balak stood on a makeshift podium made out of a stack of small metal crates, and carried a Vindicator Battle Rifle in his hands. "Settle down, you idiots!" he growled angrily at the restless slavers. He knew his men were uncomfortable around so many humans, even helpless ones, but he needed everyone focused. Their buyers weren't big fans of sloppiness...

As the burrowers tried to escape, one of the scythe-like limbs impaled one's tail, trapping the arachnid in place, the Viragon pulling back, bringing it back out into the tunnel.

The struggling Burrower suddenly thrashed backward, the wormlike beast bending towards the Viragon's face and clamping its jaws on the Tyranid's head, trying to carve through its armored head...

[TyrannoTitan]

Raising its other limb, the Viragon stabbed the scythe through the worm-like creature's midsection, pulling it off the Viragon's head and pinning it to the wall. Pulling its limbs in opposite directions, the giant Tyranid ripped the Burrower in half, with each half still impaled on each of its weapons...

The second Burrower smashed into the side of the Viragon's head, stunning it with the force of the blow, before spinning around and smashing it in the face with its armored tail, before burrowing away yet again, relying on the hefty carcass of its fellow Burrower to slow the Viragon down for the moment...

Jessica holsters her pistols and walks over an takes her sniper rifle back from the rocks nearby. The then points "Buddy" at the mercenary. "Well, sometimes you've got to shoot the b*stard. Sorry about this." She fires her rifle at his head..........

With both mercs dead, Jessica stood alone in the clearing, the cold wind whipping through the area. The only thing of any real note is the mercs' Mantis Gunship, which was parked a short distance away, its hull well-camouflaged against the rocks for anyone not really looking for it...

Letting out a loud, rumbling growl, the Viragon lashed at the air with its limbs, hurling the two halves of the corpse at the point where the other Burrower disappeared...

The Burrower simply dug away, letting out a deep, rumbling bellow that vibrated through the earth, causing minor trembling beneath the feet of the Tyranids...

The mercenary ship soon broke through the hyper-space they were going through, reaching the signal. Dylan soon said to the two pilots and 7 other merchants, "land the ship on that planet, the rest of you get your weapons ready..."

Jessica begins wandering around the general area. "Hmm.... there HAS to be something here......." She begins to climb on some rocks to see if she can get a better scope of the landscape, still heartbroken that she lost her heirloom.......
