"Me has the usual supplies," Shezz replied, before asking, "what is it you need?"

Shezz nods, before opening up a particularly large cabinet and pulling out a somewhat finely crafted bow shaft, along with a few strings to go with it and put it down on the table-top. "That'll be one silver coin and 5 bronze ones, my friend," the goblin said as he pushed the items a bit closer to the youngling...

The goblin reaches in his pocket and pulls out a gold coin. "Will this be covering it?"

"It be too much, here, let me give you something in return aswell," Shezz says, before moving down into a few cabinets under the table, before plucking out 8 silver coins along with five bronze ones and soon gave them to the younger goblin along with the bow and strings...

as Septimus continued his low, deep murmuring, the glowing between the scales grew stronger, as his claws glowed white, his arm slowly being engulfed in white light, the scales themselves turning pale and glowing, reaching up to his elbows.suddenly, the glowing arms flared, finally fading back to normal, the runes on his arms glowing brightly, but not overly so, back to how he was before. closer inspection would reveal his pupils were glowing more vibrantly than before. closing his eyes, the Dragon let out a low sigh, resting after the spell...

The Dragon smirked, eyes still closed. "Do you want the Mage's answer, or the Hueilin's answer?" he growled...

As they neared the river, Aviva suddenly let out a surprised snort. Was that a Huelin's auma she'd just sensed? If so, best to stay clear; keep a reasonable distance. She angled slightly, aiming for the far bank. Arsenic frowned, puzzled by her actions, but not questioning her. The dragon angled downwards, Arseninc tensing, ready to jump. Her claw tips just barely skimmed the surface of the water, and as she reached the bank, the elf threw himself from her neck, falling into a graceful roll as his feet hit the pebbles. He was standing in another moment, watching her circle around to land beside him. 'Such open ground unnerves me, young one,' she commented quietly, her green gaze scanning the surrounding area. 'Let us drink and hunt quickly, and then be off.'

'I wish you would tell me what troubles you, my friend,' Arsenic said, resting a hand briefly against her neck. 'But I will respect your wishes. Let's see if there are any fish worth catching in this river, shall we?' Aviva's long neck snaked out over the water. She dipped her snout in, wanting to satisfy her thirst before they got down to catching fish Arsenic knelt to refill his waterskin and take a drink of his own, a trickle escaping his mouth and working its way down his jaw to his neck. He felt it touch his scarbefore he wiped it away with the back of his hand. 'There's nothing quite like a cold drink after a successful job, is there?' he asked.

Aviva hummed in agreement, partly listening, partly keeping alert. Suddenly she plunged her head beneath the river's surface. Her jaws snapped shut on the back of a reasonably-sized fish; she hauled it out of the water and dropped it beside Arsenic. It would feed him now, and there would be enough left over to dry and carry with him; it could last a while, provided he didn't eat too much now. For now, however, she breathed a steady stream of fire at her catch, turning it slowly with one claw to evenly cook it. Arsenic nodded gratefully when she finished, unsheathing his dagger to cut away managable strips of the meat. While he was doing that, she turned back to the river. Time to catch a meal for herself.

"Oh, me still scam, just not with own kind anymore!" Shezz thought to himself as he watched the youngster leave his home, before taking the golden coin and putting in in the compartment with a few other coins quite similiar to it...

As the horde of Ulfsarks closed with the city wall they started making animal like sounds and ancient chants to whip themselves into a frenzy to help them move faster and strike harder, they also started to throw grappling hooks up the wall. Then as another volley of stones slammed into the town wall and surrounding buildings some were making their mark, punching into the weak thin gate and weakening the structure. Lokar sat atop his Warhorse watching the scene unfold before him. Then with keen eyes he noticed that soldiers had mounted the wall and were well armed with bows and swords. "Ballistas, redirect your fire to the top of the walls with javelin casks. Pepper them with flying death and clear the way for our Ulfsarks!" ordered Lokar pointing to the walls. The Ballista crews were already swapping out stones for the the tied bundles of javelins tied in loose knots to hold them together that loosen and open as they fly through the air. It takes a great deal of practice to learn how to use this ammo properly, fortunetly Lokar had brought his veteran crews with him. With all preperations made the lead of the Ballista rank gave the "ready" signal, "FIRE," shouted Lokar with zeal. Soon the sound of deadly whisling javelins hung loudly on the air, their bundle ties released and they spread through the air their whisle growing in pitch into a startling screech as they rained down on the soldiers on the top of the walls, hundreds of thousands making a hail of screaming death.

Uriel folded his wings in slightly, increasing his speed, the dragon rocketing over the surface of the water. Reaching the middle of the river, Uriel spread his wings, drastically slowing his speed, staring down at the water, watching for signs of movement. Seeing a fish dart away as he approached, the dragon lunged down, teeth sinking into the creature's tail. Surprised by its size, Uriel found himself plunging into the water, the resistance made by the fish throwing off his balance. Mouth opening in surprise, the dragon flailed his limbs trying to pull himself back to the surface, and partially succeeded in doing so. Head above the water, Uriel slowly calmed down, dog-paddling toward shore, ignorant to the scents around him...

"Fair enough" rumbled the Dragon with a chuckle, amused at the answer he was given. "In simple terms, that was a...ritual, so to speak. maybe something less than that. It's more than your average spell. It's purpose is to circulate my power. to make it run smoothly and freely within. It's meant to enhance my endurance. You could compare it to how a faster blood circulation is paired with a better performing body. It's a ritual i practice whenever I think i may travel a long distance" he explained as he opened his eyes, his pupils revealing themselves to be glowing an almost dazzling white, though close inspection would show they were still tinted cyan. as he craned his neck, a stream of light seemed to trail behind his eyes, as if a luminescent vapour radiated from them...

Tetto'eko nodded, slicing a piece of flesh from the fish. "I see. Understandable, and quite useful in the right situations. Magical endurance is a valuable trait." He popped the slice of fish into his mouth and swiftly gulped it down, licking his lips. "Ah, cooked to perfection."

Uriel pulled himself onto the shore with a groan, shaking from nose to tail to rid himself of the water. Although he could swim, the dragon wasn't very fond of it. Turning his attention back to the river, Uriel walked along the bank, moving to an undisturbed spot to try and catch a meal again...

The soldiers stationed on the walls managed to raise up their shield, those that were too slow died with the horrific projectiles having killed them. By now, the main millitary forces had arrived at the walls. There was no need to explain what was going on to the reinforcments... The soldiers on the walls, drew out their knifes and threw the daggers right at some of the enemy. Thanks to their training, they knew that the knifes would either maim or kill those that they hit, and their accuracy was dead on. The archers raised up their bows, before firing them into the sky, the arrows soon began to rain down upon the horde...

Aviva soon caught a second, smaller fish. This one she tore in half and swallowed the tail end first. Her teeth were not designed for chewing, but for slicing through flesh to allow her venom to seep into the wound. Arsenic watched her for a moment, smiling faintly, before returning to his own meal.

As Septimus sat there, in thought, a scent reached him. no. not a scent. it was several......Dragons....and an elf. there was a part of it that was familiar. the black Dragon was nearby. though the other two were much, much closer. at the moment, the threat they posed was minimal, so he decided not to mention it...
