Parting the bushes and shrubs in his way, the armored being could've barely heard a call of some animal somewhere in the forest. It sounded like it came from some distance away, but what exactly was it? He expected the answer to reveal itself, as was the norm by now, but nothing happened. There wasnt even the slightest glistening of his eyes. He ran the noise through his head as he continued on through the brush. It felt like it belong with something. Something he already knew- or "learned"- recently. He glanced down to the pelt strap that hung off to his side, and suddenly it clicked. "Horse" He thought. "Without the bird features. Why would it announce its pressence like that? Is it begging to get killed?" He stopped for a moment, acknowledging the fact that another bit of knowledge had revealed itself. Survival was the driving force of the wild. The game of predator and prey only had one rule: Do what you can to ensure you arent prey. The "horse" would undoubtly be the target of some hungry creature lurking amongst the foliage. Desrium shook his head and continued on his way.

"Nothing here would really seem to suite me if I bought anything in the first place. Let's continue on," Ikargu soon replied, not feeling too safe in the town square at the moment.

Shezz doesn't hear what the chief had said, and replied, "me just hope chief doesn't choose to stay..."

The child nods and continues on her way, before she turns around, pointing to the palace. "That is king Drakun II's palace. He rules over us, and decides on numerous issues. Just don't bother him or his son, draco......."

Kubba says, "If the cartel send troops, safer it should be... if not, wise it would be for cheif to say nay."

"Safer, yes, but if troll population grows more than it should, danger camp will be in," Shezz replied while nodding in partial agreement.

"I had been there a few moments ago, and yesterday, well, to the roof atleast," Ikargu replied mentally...

The child says, "It's certainly beautiful though, is it not?"

Kubba nods solemnly. "Hope luck on our side it is, my friend...."

Shezz nodded in agreement, not having anything else to say at the moment.

Ikargu soon replied, "indeed, it is. But when guards encountered me yesterday, they seemed like they were going to kill me, but I couldn't tell..."

The child replies, "Well, dragons have not been seen in this region commonly for nearly three hudnred years. Now we just have griffons."

The creature folded its wings in front of itself, and the fireball exploded against the membranes, doing surprisingly little damage. The beast snarled back at Uriel, but didn't attack...

The second of the two draconic creatures had followed the chase from a safe distance, and took a burst of speed through the clouds and emerged a few meters above Uriel. Taking advantage of the distraction, the much larger beast lunged at Uriel, its snakelike neck whipping out to snap at the smaller dragon's neck...

With one flap of his wings, Uriel was pushed to the side, the dragon's maw snapping just in front of him. Claws extending, Uriel slashed down the creature's face, aiming for its eye, before pushing himself further away with another flap...

"Of course. We'll turn this place into a fort if we need to." the goblin said with a smirk, taking another puff of his pipe. Because of the extreme locations of some of their cities, the Cartel valued lumber where ever they found it...

Uriel's claws did almost nothing to the beast's shockingly thick scales, about as effective as scratching plate armor. The claw barely missed its eye, and the creature hissed in a fury, then turned and flew after the small dragon, followed by its compatriot...

Uriel dove back toward the clouds, not about to fight two of the beasts head on, but rather on his terms...

"And there i would've thought that the differing situations during an assassination mission would act as constant change" he growled, just as he heared the distant whinny of a horse....or something. "Did you hear that?" he growled as he looked at Aviva and Arsenic...

Arsenic said, 'Different situations, yes. But the scenario is usually roughly the same. Get a target, hunt him down.' He turned his head at the inquiry, a slight frown creasing his brow. 'Sounded like a horse...maybe a bit off. It's too far away to really be sure.' He shrugged.

The chief says, "Alright. I guess we can stay." The chief turns around and shouts, "Goblins!" Everyone stops what they are doing and return to before the chief. "False alarm." Various goblins curses can be heard as the others go back to replace their items and get back to work.

Kubba says, "Hope I do that help us they do......"

The child says, "Yes, very-" suddenly a horn is heard from the castle, as a carriage comes out, sitting in it is the prince and the king, pulled by horses and guarded by the royal guards. Behind them is a man being dragged out towards the town square by the royal guards, the man clearly uncomfortable and frightened. "Looks like there's going to be an execution....." the child says.......

Ikargu nodded before saying telepathically, "not too many of my kind are left. We're spread out in areas that are only cold from time to time, and it's not too common to find any of us sitting around somewhere."

Shezz nodded in agreement before turning and going to his home to put up all the items he had taken out from it.

In a somewhat different section of the mountain range Ikargu lived in, another Zarthu dragon, or ice dragon as most had called his kind, flew through the cold clouds and dove down towards her home. Once the dragon had reached it, she landed on the perch outside of it and walked into the cave that was her den...

"In case you haven't figured it out yet, I'm Wrench, your liaison to the Cartel. If you need anything, I'm the goblin to talk to." Wrench explained with another puff of his pipe.

"I should really start keeping a tally on the creatures we run into if this keeps up," Tetto'eko added. "And here I thought Lustria was the only place abundant in potentially hostile life..."

The two creatures, debating whether to pursue, suddenly stopped, as if called by something. They quickly turned and flew away, revealing a pair of hooded, cloaked figures on their backs as they headed back towards the forest below...

Pulling out of his dive, Uriel shot himself back upward, once again emerging from the clouds. Spotting the dragons beginning to descend, Uriel soared after them, the high-pitched noise once again echoing through the air. He had no intention of letting them go so easily...

The two beasts heard the high-pitched screech and spun around as Uriel flew at them. The creatures hissed threateningly, ready to dodge the imminent fireball...
