In the town of Susano, all the livestock there were feeding peacefully, until a large goat with only one horn jerked it's head up. The goat sniffed the air, before going into an all-out panic. in no time at all, all the animals in Susano went brezerk, almost as if afraid of the horde coming to take them away. However, their fear was from something else...
High up in the sky above Susano, the sounds of horrid screaching and gnashing of teeth rang out as several figures flew down from up high. They were brown in color, and their faces were like those of deformed, hairless rabbits. The bat-like fiends had come, smelling death and decay from their nearby nest site. These were Gandiors, foul bat-like denizens that would sraid the farms, killing whatever they wanted, wherever it be cattle, humans, or anything else... Behind the flock of 13 flew a massive blue Gandior, several times larger than the males infront of her...
The pope rode on through the marshy road, careful to avoid straying from the middle. As he rounded a corner, he saw what looked like a large log streaching across the road, one far too high for his horse to jump over. He pulled on the reigns, to try and slow it down. The horse skidded to a stop, before it's eyes grew wide in terror. The horse reared onto it's hind legs, sending the pope toppling into the mud with a splash. With that, the horsetook off the way it came, leaving the bewildered Pope to simply stare in shock at the beast having run away. With his back turned to the "Log", he was unaware as it slowly slithered off into the swamp, the last thing visible of it to anyone that might have been watching was the 6 inch spike on the end of the emerald green tail of the thing...
Meanwhile, Emperor Trajan had finally gotten up and was at the breakfast table with Dione and alll the servants. This time, breakfast was cereal, Hashbrowns, Strawberries, and Scrambled eggs. After taking a small bite of one of the hashbrowns, Trajan looked over at Dione, whose hair was still a massive tangled mess. Her eyes wer half-open, and what could be seen of them was glazed over. She was certainly not ready to give a sermon today... Trajan sighed as he put his head on his right hand. He would have to cancelthe church service today here in Tristan... If news of this were to reach the other towns in Germania, he'd have to think of a very good excuse...

All hail the glory that is Tenshi, the Sunkern!
