As Lokar walked the streets in amusment watching his horde of Ulfsarks, Hurskarls, and dismounted Raiding Cavalrymen tear the town apart he felt a strange sensation, one of fear. "You ever get the feeling that something really bad is about to happen," asked Lokar to one of his following hurskarl guard. Just then a large pig ran by squeeling it's head off even going so far as to knock another hurskarl over before stumbling over onto it's side in tiredness. Lokar immedetly turned around and noticed the flood of animals rampaging his way. "STOP THOSE ANIMALS BEFORE THEY GET THIN AND FIT!" ordered Lokar in a fit of surprise and anger(and a bit of strange logic). His horde of minions though slightly confused by his order proceeded to stop as many of the animals as they could causing an uproar and flooding their systems with adrenalin.

The small group of dark figures were near invisible in the hall, as they made their way through the complex underground network of New Immortalis, made up of multiple rooms and buildings, all connected by a maze of tunnels and paths. The pitch black darkness of the hallway did not daunt them; they weren't truly physical beings of matter, only in a rugged and tacky imitation of them, as they had to be, to dig the tunnels. They're extra-sensory perception within the shadow guided them through, with their knowledge of the underground labyrinth preventing them from getting lost, for they had built many of the tunnels themselves. The group of Shades, as they were commonly referred to, were out to expand their city, by tunneling further in D quadrant, and to eventually connect with the other small cities under Mt. Ambrose...

Sarah looks around their surroundings, taking in all the majesty of the mountains.....

Khorne begisn to slow down a bit, possibly so he does not use up too much energy or grow cold. The basilisk sniffs the air before he pauses and turns his head to the left....

Hraesvelgr continued watching the surrounding area, before glancing over in the direction Khorne was facing.

The mountains seemed to grow smaller as Ikargu flew over some plains, tilting himself a bit so Sarah could see the animals grazing their and those hunting them...

Khorne watches the bushes, but nothing seems to come out. "Just keep moving..... if it comes out, we'll be ready...."

Sarah looks down on the field at the numerous creatures before she notices one that looks like a wingless dragon. "Hey! Look, Ikargu, it's a drake!"

Ikargu turns his head until he could see the drake, but kept flying in the same direction despite the sight. "Thankfully it can't fly, otherwise we'd probally be done for already," he said jokingly, considering the drake was easily smaller than the ice dragon.

Hraesvelgr nodded and continued along, moving slightly faster to get by Khorne's side...

Sarah says, "I heard from a very kind man back in Freyr-Lunge that Drakes and Wyverns are the oldest of the dragon species. Neither have the ability to breathe fire, though."

Khorne waits a while for the being to come out before he turns to continue on. "I think we're being followed. I've heard rustling at least two other times before this."

"Let's just ignore it," Hraesvelgr soon said after a moment, "it's probally something too small to bother us, anyways."

"Well, than atleast I may have a better fighting advantage than both species, but not if they're larger than myself, so we'll have to be careful if any ever pass by," Ikargu replied to Sarah after a moment...

Khorne nods before he continues onward...

Sarah says, "So do you breathe fire or ice?"

"Ice," Ikargu soon replied to Sarah, before asking the child, "Sarah... would it be ok, if I called oyu my... my child?"

Hraesvelgr follows close behind Khorne, still watching the surroundings for any potential predators...

"I'd love that!" Sarah says as she holds tightly to Ikargu's spines....

Khorne turns to Hraesvelgr and hisses, "Whatever's following us, it seems to be rather intelligent. Most forest creatures wouldn't bother us unless they are in groups. I think it might be a quester or monster slayer that think we're a threat."

Ikargu seemed a bit stunned by the response, before saying, "well, would you like to go home now? Maybe get some more rest for the day, my child?"

Hraesvelgr soon replied, "either that, or maybe it's just a really curious animal." She turned her head for a moment to look back, not seeing anything behind the two, but could tell something was there...

"Hopefully, you're the one who's correct," Khorne says in a rather serious manner.

"Sure, uh.... dad," Sarah replies.

Ikargu nodded, before turning around and was soon flying back to the mountain range, which was some distance away now.

Hraesvelgr nodded, before saying, "we should just stay cautious, just in case I'm wrong..."

Sarah holds onto Ikargu's spines, watching as the drake catches one of the hippogryphs and snaps its neck with its maw......

Khorne nods, and continues along....

Ikargu flaps his wings a bit hard to ascend higher up, but kept going at the same rate he currently was.

Hraesvelgr glances around a couple more times, before continuing to focus on finding the new home she and Khorne were looking for...

Khorne emerges from the forest, realizing they were nearing the edge of their realm. He looks at what appears to be the ruins of a village or town may about a thousand feet from their current location. "Should we go and check it out?"

Sarah waits for Ikargu to return the two of them home, watching out in case somethnig decided to follow them... which was unlikely, but possible.

Ikargu slightly picked his pace up, now going a bit faster than what he did before with Sarah on his back, but still didn't go too fast.

"We should just continue on with our search, but we could probally come back and check later," Hraesvelgr replied after a short moment of thinking about it...

Khorne grunts before he continues on. "There should be a cave around here somewhere..... it seems liek the terrain is correct....."

Sarah looks around a bit more before she says, "Ikar- uh, I mean, dad- are there any other... big creatures up here, other then you?"

"Other than those griffons and the other dragon of my kind, nothing, my child," Ikargu replied as the two neared the mountain range, before they finally landed on the cliffhanger hanging out from his home.

Hraesvelgr nodded, but said nothing as she began looking around for somewhere suitable for both her and Khorne to live at...
