"More or less, yes" responded Andruil simply. "That and enjoying the many, many beauties of Aster" he added, raising his hands to his sides as if gesturing to everything around him, within and beyond the inn...

"Beauty is found where you least expect it," Vix said, inclining her head. "In nature. In life." Arsenic hefted the bucket full of water and carried it into the kitchen, catching Vix's nod of gratitude.

"It's everywhere. Before us. Behind us. Above us. Below us" he said, gesturing towards each direction in turn. "It can be right in front of you and never be noticed. Leaving the Order for a life outside my nation's borders...gives me a chance to really look around and appreciate what i've missed, as well as what i had" he explained. "So I've decided...with your permission, of course...to join the guild"...

Vix smiled, reaching back to pull her braid back over her shoulder. "We'll be glad to have you. We're a bit short-handed at the moment around here, with jobs coming in as fast as they are. It usually pays to at least check out where the requests come from, so a lot of our assassins are out doing just that." She sucked her lower lip into her mouth thoughtfully for a moment. "Rooms are upstairs. Pick any of the unlocked ones and I'll give you the key. If you need anything, just ask."

"What, no ceremony? No fancy words? I'm disappointed already" responded Andruil with a smirk as he eyed Vix for a moment, before heading for the stairs...

The young woman let out a laugh. "I'm sure you'll live," she said, turning and walking into the kitchen to let Arsenic know what she wanted the water for.

By this time the Northmen had nearly finished loading their ox carts with all they could carry and were already preparing to leave for home. Meanwhile watching from the shadows, a group of wildmen waited for their chance to sneak in and take what was left. Lokar was aware of their presance since passing out of the "Gates of Midgard" the icy pass that leads into the complex network of passes that flows into "Midgard Superiour" the actual land that is capable of sustaining life. Wildmen were exiles, deserters, runaway slaves, and other misfits in Northmen society. They live off of the weak and remains of raids. With the last of the supplies stowed away Lokar ordered the Soldiers into their positions along the coloumn and with that done ordered the return home. As they left the wildmen crept into the remains of the Germainian town of Susano they would be all that would meet the approching Germainian Army.

The servant continued down the winding road out of the city. He could see a bit of the great forest from his location. "I'm getting close," the servant says before trotting a bit farther along with his horse.....

Khorne awakens from his slumber, and decides to go look outside.....

Hraesvelgr was still outside guarding her's and Khorne's territory, her eyes seeming to shut a couple of times from her being tired. She tried staying awake the best she could, but it was tough from the exhausting day...

Khorne slithers out of the cave and gives his mate a quick nudge with his nose. "You can rest. I'm naturally nocturnal anyways, and you look exhausted."

Hraesvelgr nodded, yawning and growled back to her mate, "ok. Just be careful, though." Soon, she slithered into the cave and laid down, slowly closing her eyes and soon began to rest at that moment...

Khorne watches the night cautiously, swinging his spiked tail back and forth..... back and forth....... whilst scanning for potential foes. He wouldn't let anything escape his eyes.......

"So, Ikargu, when did you find Sarah?" Saurgu asked telepathically to the ice dragon only, with the latter responding, "I was exploring a kingdom some distance from this mountain range, and she found me first, offering to be my guide for the capital city. Once I learned of her being homeless, I had decided to take her in..."

"Yeah," Sarah says. "The guards could be pretty harsh if they caught you stealing, if you know what I mean."

"Well, you're just lucky Ikargu took you in, Sarah, he'll manage to give you a better life," Saurgu replied with a slight reptillian smile, while Ikargu decided to let the two talk to each other for the time being, not having much to do other than speak when he felt he should've...

"Yup, I'm certainly glad. I get to see the world now, too. In Draxon, all I knew was the chaotic city life. It's very different form calm, quiet life in the wilderness."

"It's probably even safer in this region alone than that old kingdom, because if large-scaled fighting broke out, no where in that general area would be safe for anyone," Saurgu replied, with Ikargu nodding in agreement, before turning his head and watched the clouds roll by with somewhat wide eyes...

Tetto'eko sighed inwardly, glad that there was no blood in the water that would spur the beasts of the Lustrian swamps to attack. The only downside was, if one was hungry enough to go after them, it would be much more cautious...

Unbeknownst to Septimus and Tetto'eko, a tiny ripple, almost invisible, disturbed the water's surface behind and to the right of the two. As it vanished, a massive, dark shape, around three-quarters the size of Septimus drifted through the water towards them, completely silent...

Septimus continued onwards, wary of his surroundings, glancing around every few moments to check for threats, catching a glimpse of a ripple behind him, the Dragon stopping to check if it really was what he thought, the runes on his face branching out like veins, as his eyes were engulfed in whitish blue energy...

Andruil walked up the stairs, chuckling lightly as he ascended. He was barely here a few minutes and he was loving it already. To hell with noble bloodlines. So long as my actions are noble, tis all that matters he thought as he reached the second floor landing, walking along the halls and finding the nearest unlocked door, pushing it open and looking around...

The servant continues down the road, and sees a building. He knew he was close. The servant rides over to a nearby stable to put his horse there.....
