"Let me at your king with my knives," Vix said, pulling one from a sheathe in her boot and tossing it into the air, catching it again by the handle. "Fifteen minutes, he'll be reduced to a sniveling, pleading, bleeding shell of a person." Arsenic chuckled. 'I don't doubt that, Vix.' He turned to Andruil. 'But I do fear what you describe is dangerously close to becoming a reality.'

"Yes, I did. Though i Don't think they noticed me. I was more of a bystander than anything" he answered. "I believe the best way to deal with this man is to....sabotage his campaign. Warn his neighbours of his plans" he explained...

the servant syas, "It is worse than that, though.... I overheard a conversation he had with them, and they spoke of a being named 'Zazikel'. After the king was murdered, they came to him again, and two other beings psoke to him. One called itself Deka, and I can assume it was seperate from them. The other, however, spoke of plans to conquer all of Aster..."

A sound resembling a hiss came from Vix as she sheathed her knife. "If they want to conquer Aster, they really are arrogant fools who know nothing beyond their own egos."

[The Kingpin]

"So they...assisted Draco in assassinating his father, in order to recruit him and all his forces for their plan....unsettling news. In that case, the warning needs to be spread, soon" said Andruil...

The servant says to Vix, "Don't be so sure. If the one named Zazikel was this clever, who knows who else he may be planning to recruit to his cause...." He then turns to Andruil. "Exactly. The news must get out before anyone else falls into this or anyone is killed...."

As Tetto'eko watched, he looked up at the towering statue a short distance away. It was fashioned in the form of a serpent, its eyes made of pure ruby, and its body inlaid of gold plating and thin emerald and ruby shards, making it look almost bloodstained. "The totem of Sotek," Tetto'eko explained, glancing over his shoulder at Septimus. Around the base of the 30-foot-tall statue was a crowd of Skinks, all with unusual, blood-red crests. They all watched a single, larger Skink with a ragged crest and a wicked-looking knife, as he screeched and chittered in the Lizardmen's language. Beneath him, pitifully curled into a ball was a single, ragged-looking human...

The crow was now perched atop the inn, having followed the servant to the location after his meeting with the King. Silent and still up to this point, the avian creature fluttered down to the ground to the side of the inn, and, in an instant, an orange and white cat stood in its place. The feline approached the inn from the side, its transformed concealed by the structure itself, clawing the door with its paws and meowing loudly. The cat hoped that those inside would take pity on it and allow it entrance...

Vix strode over to the door, opening it and looking down, puzzled. Her expression softened as she caught sight of the cat. She knelt and extended her hand. "Hey there little guy...where'd you come from?" she murmured, half to herself.

"What are they doing?" hissed Septimus quietly as he eyed the event before him, remaining completely still to avoid attracting unnecessary attention...


Andruil's eyes narrowed as he considered their options. "Do you have any idea if the roads connected to this village are being monitored?" inquired the man as he eyed the servant...

[TyrannoTitan]

The cat meowed in response, rubbing itself against the outstretched hand while purring loudly. This was not the first time it had to act like the animal in question to achieve its own ends...

Vix gave the cat a scratch behind the ears. "I might have some food," she murmured as she stood. Stray cats were a common sight, and she usually welcomed them for as long as they wanted to stay. She took a step back to see if the cat would come in.

Showing mock caution, the feline took a few tenative steps inside, glancing around nervously as it entered.

"I believe that this is a sacrifice to Sotek," Tetto'eko hissed. "And that Skink," he added, pointing at the talking Skink, "is Tehenhauin, Sotek's main Priest..."

Eziok inhaled deeply. "I've got this, I'm not weak" , he thought to himself. He lifted himself from the bed and began walking twoards the table very slowoy, pain shooting up his leg after every step.

"You should really stay in that bed," a doctor had soon said to the marksman as he went towards the table he was facing, but didn't move to stop him at all...

"I'm fine!", roared Eziok as he stumbled around looking for his weapon.

"I got a feeling this won't end too well," Matt thought after a moment, sitting up as he watched Eziok stumble around, searching for something, obviously...

The servant said, "Patrols occasionally come from the kingdom, but they are focused mostly on Freyr-Lunge. Some of the villages are left to fend for themselves and have their own militia, but I know not if they have patrols as well."

"Then I'll warn Valenhad first thing in the morning. the Regent...or King, if they've received him, can then proceed to spread the information to other Kingdoms allied to them. Can you tell me any more about Zazikel?" inquired Andruil...


"What about the human? Any idea what kind of background he might have?" hissed Septimus, somewhat uncomfortable. he disliked the sight of sentient beings being killed when they were helpless. there was no honour in such a death...
