The serpent snaked around the blast, arching up into the air to follow Zazikel, the aura around Tzeentch shooting toward the demonic dragon, enveloping it, causing electrical-like shocks all over Zazikel's body...

Zazikel quickly stretched out his forelegs as the energy hit, keeping it from doing too much damage before it began to fly apart in random directions, crashing down into the village below in the form of energy bolts, causing further destruction to the buildings. Some of the energy was redirected back at Tzeentch, followed by Zazikel's aura returning, providing a shield against another attack...

The energy struck the serpent and was simply reabsorbed into its being, glowing eyes staring daggers at the demonic dragon. "You should feel honored..." Tzeentch hissed, the serpent's mouth actually moving as he spoke, while he silently prepared an attack...

"Don't you start, you silver-tongued changeling!" Zazikel snarled back, preparing his own attack, noticeable by the lessening of his aura...

"Its been years since I had to resort to such...desperate measures." Tzeentch continued, eyes glowing somewhat brighter, the serpent's face never changing...

Zazikel didn't bother responding, instead sending another beam of life-draining energy at Tzeentch...

Tzeentch twisted once again, the beam passing through the loop, while he unleashed his own attack: Another mental assault, causing the pain inflicted by the half-breed's previous attack to increase dramatically...

Zazikel's mental barrier was weaker this time, but it just barely managed to resist the attack from Tzeentch. "Enough of this!" he snarled, and his aura disappeared as he focused his energy into the mental assault, pushing back against Tzeentch, this time with significantly more strength than the last time...

Even without Arsenic's reinforcement, Tzeentch was able to hold back Zazikel's attack, forcing him to continue the mental duel or risk another attack...

Zazikel was mostly out of harm's way from most of the other combatants now that he was hovering in the air, so he continued to focus most of his power into the mental assault...

Arsenic quickly redoubled his efforts, feeling himself weakening from the effort it was taking him just to launch an attack that normally took almost nothing out of him. He could feel the mental barrier was weaker...if he could find another crack in it, maybe he could force the demon dragon to back off...

Zazikel's mental attack suddenly split in two, the one blocking Tzeentch's weaker now, but still holding against his opponent, while the Demon put the rest of his power into a brutal mental stab to Arsenic's mind in the same way as the Elf had done previously as cruel revenge, but this time it had the formidable power of an Archdemon behind it, easily cracking Arsenic's own protection...

Arsenic let out a shout of agony, clutching his head even as a high-pitched, keening telepathic shriek cut through the noise of the battle. Many assassins winced and covered their ears, though it did little good; the sound was present in their minds as well as the physical world. It was an automatic reaction, a defense to Arsenic's shields being breached. The majority of the counterattack was aimed at the demonic dragon, seeping through the cracks in its mental armor and causing as much pain as Arsenic himself was feeling.

Zazikel reeled back from the attack, swooping higher in the sky, releasing a shower of purple, life-draining flame from his maw as he roared, which fell towards the earth. He refocused his power again, however, and quickly raised a mental shield to prevent the same thing from happening again...

As the dragon recovered from the attack, a large arrowhead of ice smashed into its chest, shattering on contact, causing shrapnel to cut into a large part of the demon's body. Tzeentch retained his own mental shield, protecting him from the majority of Arsenic's defense and giving him time to prepare if Zazikel prepared another attack...

Zazikel was knocked further backwards in the air, snarling in pain. As he scraped away any ice that didn't turn to vapor on contact with his body, however, a fiendish idea formed in the dragon's Demonic mind. As he recovered, he fired another blast of energy. However, it wasn't aimed at Tzeentch, nor was it a concentrated beam. Instead, it was more of a cone, and it was aimed directly at the Guild building. Though the energy had little in the way of kinetic force behind it, it didn't matter when the energy washed over the building's roof. Anything the dark energy touched was affected by the life-draining aura if it was organic: flesh was decayed to the bone (which was disintegrated as well), and materials like wood and straw were simply rotted until they couldn't hold themselves together. Metal, however, was merely turned to brittle rust that fell apart almost instantly. In short, the building's roof was practically melted into nothingness, the purple energy washing over unprotected creatures still inside. If you want foul play, you'll get it, Zazikel thought as he sprayed the building with the lethal power...

Taking advantage of the dragon's distraction, Tzeentch once again viciously attacked his mind, again using the previous wound as a focal point, making the pain increase a thousandfold, almost to the point of collapse...

Zazikel had kept a small barrier up to block a mental attack, but the attack eventually broke through, and the dragon reeled again, the purple energy accidentally washing over Tzeentch as the Demon roared in pain and enveloping the shapeshifter. In a blind rage, Zazikel flew straight at Tzeentch, the energy blast being a good enough distraction to temporarily block Tzeentch's view of the berserking dragon. Zazikel blasted through the remnants of the energy (which the Demon was immune too), and bodily slammed into the serpent, sending both of them crashing down into the Guild building, Zazikel putting all his weight into the charge and trying to keep Tzeentch underneath them as they hit the ground...

Slithering around the dragon's body to put the demon below him through the use of his natural levitation abilities, Tzeentch was suddenly encased in thick ice, cementing himself to Zazikel and increasing the weight of their fall to the point that the dragon's wings could not stop them. Smashing Zazikel into the back of the inn, the ice protected Tzeentch from most of the damage, as well as from the dragon's aura, which took time to melt away the ice before reaching the serpent within...

The already-brittle building was crushed into nothingness by the sheer weight of both beasts hitting the ground. Stunned, but far from finished, Zazikel's aura intensified dramatically, quickly melting the ice, tendrils reaching out and sucking the life-force from just about anything they could reach, trying to quickly rejuvenate the Demon...
