decided to toss some colour in here.

Image

This is a pic i did a few years ago for an art class. the teachers subsequently hijacked the design and used it in countless other pics all through the school. which would've pissed me off, were it not for the fact that everyone knew i was the guy behind the design. my fame skyrocketed thanks to that.

Credit for the original design goes to RG751 on deviantArt. i modified the design slightly to be easier to work with, then proceeded to do the colour work.

It's one of the pics i'm happier with.

about 45-50 minutes. give another 10 minutes to dry, and about an hour or two of preparation beforehand to make the template i for the dragon itself.

Great piece of art, KP. Are you going to do more like this in the future?

He should, considering how awesome this looks. XP I remember you showed me this a while back KP. Asked me to find you another design to do this with IIRC.

takes alot of materials and preparation to do this sort of thing though. If i ever find myself free to go through the effort required, sure, i will.

and yes, HF. I did. I still have the designs you sent me too. stored away for future use...

@ HF: Pfft. That's nothin'. I've managed to misplace whole essays and projects. Very depressing when I have to do it again. :P

i wouldn't remember either. only reason i do is that everything i received from friends via internet was saved in a file when i moved to my new PC. so they're all still there.

yesterday I decided to take a shot at drawing a werewolf version of my character Andruil. but, we all know I suck epicly at everything mammalian and humanoid. so this was a nightmare. HF offered to draw it for me. HF being brilliant at this sort of thing, i was happy to accept. gave her a reference of the design i had in mind. she did an amazing job of it, but there were a few things that i wanted just a tiny bit different. so i asked if she would mind me using hers as a base. then i got to work. this is the result. I was originally not even gonna try colouring it, since i, in all honestly, am terrible with colours. but HF going ahead spurred me on, and this is the result.

credit for this pic goes to HF primarily for drawing it from scratch, and to sugarpoultry of Deviant Art for this werewolf anatomy design and for the reference pic. taken with permission. Character is mine, and the differences between this, and HF's, are mine. but that's about it. everything else is HF's and SP's work, and they deserve credit for it.

Nyeeh, you'll make me blush. D:

lawl. XP In all seriousness I was happy to take a stab at it. I needed the practice with wolf head anatomy, and with werewolves in general. And of course the drawing looked so plain without color, so I was eager to finish what I had started. What kind of artist would I be if I wasn't? XP

Impressive werewolf drawing. However, I think that the whiskers on the snout look a little like those from a tiger, though maybe it's just me having not taken a look at wolf whiskers.

I've finally decided to begin work on my first Fanfic. No story is complete without some cover art, so I decided to go ahead and make a pic to match.
