Rick walked up to one of the lockers that was open and looked inside, looking for something that would be useful. As he loocked at the highest area in the locker where objects could be stored, he noticed something covered in dust. Clearing the dust away with his hand, he saw that it was in fact a pile of papers, the first page having the title "Utahraptor research". Picking up the papers he walked over to Barnes and handed them to the commander, saying:"You might want to have a look at this, sir."

Barnes skimmed over the papers for a moment, then said, "Let's get back to Dodgson. He can give us the details on what we'll find out here."

"Nothing, but I diddn't check that one over there knocked over in the corner, Should I," asked Hiero uncaringly.

"Well, I know for a fact that it was hard work, but anyways, what was the purpose in bringing this dinos back from the dead, eh?" Riley soon asked Dodgson, wanting to know even more from him. Even though he was losing his hatred towards the man, his grudge against him didn't loosen up lightly...

"Perhaps... They revived them for a tourist attraction?" A voice yawned from behind Riley. The one who spoke out, a woman of Thirty with a backpack on her back, seemed to be very tired and read to get some sleep. She scratched the back of her neck, before yawning again. She didn't seemed to be very excited by what she had seen on this island so far, but behind her tired looks, she was very excited...

Riley turns around and looks at the woman for a moment, before speaking, "Oi! And WHY are tryin' to sleep on the job? We still got a mission to do here, and with those things lurking around, we got bigger problems on our hands than trying to get rest..."

"Because," Dodgson said rather loudly to stop a potential argument between the two mercs, "it would be the ultimate biological weapon. No one would expect to be attacked by dinosaurs. It would be the perfect surprise attack weapon..."

"Eh, don't bother," Barnes said with a shrug. "This place is derelict. We need to get to the research base now, before we're stuck out here in the middle of the night. Let's move."

Riley turned to Dodgson and asked, "well, how'd you even expect to control them? Seems your team failed to even do that, despite the fact they resurrected them!"

Persephone gave a slight smirk to Riley, then looked over at Dodson. "It makes sense in my mind. A dinosaur as a weapon? Who wouldn't want one of those... though controlling them would be abit of a problem..." Persephone responded, her voice having an odd... sweet tone to it. She knew she had a bad habit of always looking tired, and , truth be told, she was almost always tired. But ready for sleep? She was FAR from ready to sleep just yet... the Dinosaurs on this island fascinated her far too much for her to think of sleep...

"I'll have you know we had a number of safety protocols to keep the more dangerous dinosaurs from causing havoc," Dodgson replied hotly. "They were meant to be free on the island, for study of their behavior. But we had a military detachment to protect the staff. There was no way this could have been because of the dinosaurs..." Turning to Persephone, he added, "Like I said, we had safety protocols. Please, both of you, focus on your job, and I'll focus on mine. Too many questions is bad for your health."

Rick nodded to Barnes words as he then began to head back in the direction of the group. Since finding the research papers that had given some description of the Utahraptor, a dinosaur he hadn't even heard of before, he now had some more questions on his mind to ask Dodgson...

"I understand." Persephone replied. She lazilly reached into her left pocket, just to feel if er magnum was still there. Indeed, it was. She let out a tiny sigh of relief. Sure, she was fascinated by the dinosaurs here on this island, but she didn't want to become meat for a raptor...

Riley laughed sarcastically, before adding on, "yet, they still failed to even pen in those beasts as it seems! If anything, they had caused all the havoc and chaos on this island in the first place!" To Persephone, he said with an accent, "vell, anyvays, try to focus on keeping zose zings controlled vith zat gun you were given! I don't vant to be tore apart by zem vhile still alive, and I'd doubt you vould either!"

"You don't know that," Dodgson replied angrily. "These staff were the most competent men and women I could find! They wouldn't let themselves get killed by roaming animals! Someone else is the cause of this. Someone interfered with the project..."

Barnes headed down the trail, seeing Dodgson and the rest of the group pile into the center cart, which was surprisingly roomy. Dodgson moved into the cockpit, being the only one able to actually pilot the strange vehicle...

Riley waits for the others to go inside the cart before he attempts to go in himself, seeming to be a lookout for the moment as everyone came over to the monorail...

Getting to the monorail, Rick climbed into the cart that the rest of the group had gotten into. Finding himself a place to sit down, he began to wait for the machine to be started up so it would take them to the research lab...

Barnes and Jack climbed in as well, and Barnes said, "Jack, check on Stan. See if he can talk by now. I'd rather not have one of our guys catatonic if we can help it." "You got it, LT."

As she sat in the seat in the cart, Persephone's mind began to think about what she had heard. If indeed the Dinosaurs here were made to be bio-weapons, then no doubt they were made to be far more fierce and powerful than they had been during the Mesozoic Era. If that were the case, then it wouldn't have mattered if someone had intervened here... the scientists may have unknowingly been setting themselves up for failure...

Maxwell had simply stood guard whilst all this information had unravelled before him. As he entered the monorail, he honestly did not know what to say. There was somethnig about Utahraptors and the possibility of a disruption... but what could he do about it? Better if he simpyl stayed silent and helped protect the others.
