Razorjaw woke feeling both refreshed and full,as he was an active carnivore and a young one at that he wouldn't spend many hours sleeping, there would be plenty of time for that when we was older, besides he was thirsty. The thirsty carnivore sniffed the air, hoping to get the scent of nearby water and surely enough he picked up the smell of fresh water, and not too far from his current location either. His nose guided him too a small stream bank where,on a small waterfall he head the commotion of some nearby dinosaurs....

"Wow! For a minute there I thought you couldn't say anything at all" growled Crusher, head cocked to one side. "You could start with your name" he suggested with a light-hearted smirk...

The Elder Raptor's laugh slowly settled, the chuckling Velociraptor eyeing Aircrest, the look in his eyes considerably less menacing now. "Relax, child. I have no intention of killing you. If I had I could've killed when you were still in the stream outside, with that Carnotaur" he growled as he regained his composure...

Diablo took a moment to ponder the question. He didn't see how one could gain much from a name, but at the same time he was unsure of what to think of the rex. After a moment of thought he cautiously growled "D-Diablo... my name is Diablo"

"How the hell did you-" Aircrest hissed, fear, anger and confusion all welled up in his mind, the raptor vying for relief as if he were a hatchling, waiting for a mother that never was to come comfort him. It sickened him, and yet only made matters worse. He shook his head, deciding to force his attention to one thing: getting answers. "Just what the hell is this place, and how the hell did you get out of that...leaf...thing!?"

The young Rex smirked, pleased they were getting somewhere. "Crusher's mine" he growled, eying the predator curiously. "Are all your kind that bony?" he added, nodding towards the Rugops' skeletal appearance...

"Got bored of sitting in there so I climbed out" growled Ripper bluntly, his tone deceivingly serious, as if it were true...

Aircrest simply stared at the older raptor with wide eyes, quivering a few times because of the underlying fear he felt in his pressence. Was this all another part of his game? To shift the green raptor's attention away from his terror, only to kill him when he least expected it? Was the end just after this conversation? The black striped raptor started to back away slowly, horror starting to seize its hold on him...

Ripper smiled, chuckling lowly. "I'm sure you have a lot of questions about this place, and others like it on the island. Am I wrong?" he hissed, his quills swept back somewhat, expressing his calmness without words or expressions. his killer claws were at rest, and his arms tight against his chest, eyes shifting for a moment in spite of the silence, eyeing a doorway behind Aircrest, a Compy scurrying out of it a second later, nearly silently...

Aircrest stopped moving when he was satisfied with the distance between him and the stranger, nodding slowly to his question, though he was as tense as ever, contemplating his chances should he have to fight his way out. Considering the fact the quilled elder seemed to know every corridor, room and overgrown path, in addition to showing speed and agillity he had never seen before, the green raptor found the odds depressingly low in his favor. "Damn it all" He thought bitterly as he eyed the rusty red elder...

"Then come. I have much to show you" hissed the Raptor as he walked forward, past Aircrest, down the corridor. "Don't mind the dead Deinonychus. It'll be cleaned up soon anyway" hissed Ripper casually as he left the corridor and went through the office...

Diablo tilted his head recalling the Rugops he saw earlier, feasting on its recently caught meal. "No..." he growled, a brief glimpse of shame showed in his expression, he looked to his left in an attempt to hide it.

Aircrest raised a scaley brow as the elder passed him. Should he trust the quilled raptor, after what had just happened? He could make a break for the exit and leave this forsaken place behind, never to return. But then again, what if this creature, this horrid outcast that lived within the shadows of the decaying building actually had the answers he craved? The raptor stared after the elder as he walked away, deep thought evident in his gaze. With a low grumble in his throat, Aircrest turned to follow the elder, trying to keep his fear at bay, to keep himself steady...

"So why are you bony then?" growled Crusher curiously, seemingly oblivious to the fact the Rugops had likely not eaten in a while...

The Elder avoided the skeleton lying in the hallway as he came back, being very wary not to touch it. "DO NOT touch that. Otherwise death by fangs and claws will be the least of your worries" he hissed warningly...

as Ripper walked back through the office, the Deinonychus seemed to be getting dragged away by something almost the exact same colour as the surrounding room, a young Carnotaur taking the corpse somewhere it could eat in peace, Ripper ignoring it as he re-entered the lab. "Before I made my presence known, I noticed you were eyeing these containers. Would you like me to tell you what they are?"...

The raptor heeded the warning, keeping his time around the skeleton brief by stepping about it quickly. Aircrest made a quiet grunt in reply to the elder's question, looking off to the side, trying to ignore the soft crunching of bone as the Carnotaur ate. He had a very vague idea of what the contents of the tanks were, but the idea was just too absurd. There was no way those...blobs were what he thought them to be. Despite that...the saurian features they had could not be explained away. "Are those things...some type of eggs?" He growled, looking forward again...

Diablo looked back at the trex, shamefully he responded, "I... I can't hunt..." The Rugops promptly looked away again, trying to avoid eye contact with the tyrannosaur.

The Female Edmontosaurus honked in alarm and pain as she thrashed around, trying to prevent the predator from getting any nearer by swing her tail as best she can...

Bias continued to bask himself in the sun. The average-sized Deinosuchus looked around, making certain there were no preadotrs eyeing him...*

Ba'al snarled and backed away for but a few precious seconds, before lunging forward and biting down onto her neck. saw like teeth riping into her neck and peircing her esophogus, along with the pressure threatening to snap her neck.....

The pack continues on, one of the raptors letting out a near-silent his and the other chirping while bobbing it's head almost excitedly. They'd need to bring something back to the others of their pack at their home, like the sentries watching over their territory or the hatchlings in the cave so they could have the energy to continue on...
