*Switch glares at the Denizens, but doesn't struggle, not sure if she could anyway, the robot body not responding well to her input.*

*At the airbase, Hurricane glances warily to his left, where the Aerosaur sits on its haunches beside him, looking expectantly into the circle.*

Derek: Sections seven and eight powering up. Beaming in the next subject...

*The entrance closes itself with a buzz and transport of the second aircraft begins as Sy walks into the control room and pops open the compy canister, reaching in and grabbing the other dinosaur. She walks to the supercomputer and places the compy on the platform, immobilizing it with a sweep of her hand as she did with the first.*

Sy: Ready when the machine is...

Amy: The chemical lines have refilled, but there's something different. This line used to contain blue liquid, and so did that one...

Sy: I think it's going to run a different program. I can't remember what this one is called, but it'll be physically a little different from the last one...

Amy: Just how different, exactly?

Tobias reads from the screen: Its dimensions are similar. Fifteen feet long, six feet at the shoulder, eight hundred pounds. Looks like this one will have more than four limbs though, unless I'm reading the display wrong...

Sy: Really? Well, let's find out then! Initiate!

*Tobias presses the red button and a buzzer sounds, the liquid in the tubes starting to flow upward...*

*I shoot across the land below, sparks leaping off of my metallic form and trailing behind me. In a hand I carry a pickaxe, its wooden handle bloodied from the incident in which I took it. One of the pointed tips is chipped. In my other hand, I carry gold pieces, also claimed from my "encounter". I head back towards TT, drawn by the sudden spikes in energy*

*The monorail carries the group into a massive chamber: the Collector Base's former control room. However, it is now dominated in the center by a gigantic rocket, which is further surrounded by all sorts of strange machinery. Denizens fill the area, omnipresent to the extreme. Jack hops off the monorail as it stops, and Denizens unload the captives, sitting them down next to a wall*

Oh, and in case you got any funny ideas, don't try to call for help. My lair blocks any and all transmissions going in or out unless I decide otherwise. Now then, do you all have any questions before I kill you in a fiendishly slow and painful manner? Haha!

*The twister blows apart, revealing not one, but TWO Genesects, both ancient insect's glare at TT as he flies off...*

Genesect 1: He called us gnats... how repugnant!

Genesect 1: Lord Akuro will be pleased when we bring him the vessel he so longs for...

*Both insects fly off after TT, but at a far higher elevation, just above the clouds, so that they cannot be seen...*

*Mara finally enters into Persephone's chamber, before noticing the Demon Lord is currently sitting on her sofa, watching the whole Denizen episode. Thinking that her attention is focused on the Demon Screen, Mara tries to sneak past, to file in her failure...*

Persephone: Mara-darling! How great of you to come by and visit! I was beginning to worry about you...

*Mara groans as Persephone gets up, walks over to her, and hugs her, those few demons around stare at the scene oddly, these ones not having ever seen Persephone do somethin glike this, until an old-timer mentions that she's always like that to Mara, causing the demons to simply shrug, and ignore the scene.*

Mara: (Somethings never change about you, Persephone...) Um... can you please... uh...

Persephone: Oh! Sorry...

*Persephone lets go, Mara immediately drops down onto one knee, before bending down low to the ground.*

Mara: I am terribly sorry, my leige. The mission you sent me to complete 6 years ago was a failure. I failed to retrieve both the Shikon Jewel and the Jewel of Life...

*As the insects approach, two spheres of energy shoot out from the cover of the clouds, exploding against the undersides of both pokemon, knocking them from the air*

*The insects, having sensed the power signatures of the incoming spheres, manage to fly upward, barely avoiding the blasts. Enraged, they both dive down, the cannons on their backs light up, before shooting heat beams, the twin beams spiral around each other, before exploding next to TT, the reslting explosion covering a large portion of the area. Acting on it, both Genesects let loose with electric beams from their eyes, the eye beams dance wildly all throgh the large smoke cloud, the occasional spark signaling a direct hit or two...*

Persephone:... Mara-darling, I forgive you for your failure. Also, I am very sorry for my... "Outburst" the last time we meet, 6 years ago. It was out of character for me to be like that...

Mara: Thank you, my Lord... I promise not to fail you ever again! I swear upon it!

Persephone: Mara... Let me tell ou a little secret...

*Mara, curious, gets up onto her feet, before taking a step toward Persephone.*

Persephone: Do you know why it is that I spare your life, wheras I allowed Orochi and the Shadowbrute to o easilly perish?

Mara: No, master... Why is it?

*A sharp pain emanates from one of the Genesects, my arm exploding through its back and out of its chest*

*Energy forms around the limb before exploding outward, completely annihilating the pokemon, sending debris in all directions*

*Turns toward the remaining pokemon*

*The remaining Genesect, instead of fleeing, goes into a complete rage, the hunter from 300 million years ago moves with incrdible speed, stabbing both arms into TT before he can move, before slicing apart, essentially lopping him in half, the entire maneuver taking less than 3 nenoeconds, far faster than the human eye can follow, the Pokemon then again fires his eye lasers at both halves of the user, the beams exploding upon contact, the remaining Genesect making certain to tryy and make certain not even a scrap of dna remains...*

Persephone: Because... while both Orochi and the Shadowbrute conspired against me and disobeyed my orders, you have never done either of them, nor have you even thoght of tryin gto oust me, Mara... Of course, if you were to try to do that, then, I would have you revert back to the state ou would be in today if I hadn't enlisted you...

*Persephone holds out a single hand, an image of Mara appears, the image suddenly rapidly decays, horrible screaming coming from it before its reduced to dust, sweatdrops of fear now rnning down the Kitsune's face as Persephone gets rid of the image.*

Persephone:... But, I highly doubt that will be the case... Thogh i have a serious question to ask you, Mara...

*Off in the hilly region of RPGTopia, Is also fast asleep, though my mind is on overdrive, trying to think up of a plan. Meta-Ridley stayin gup to keep watch, Sal having also waken up to keep watch, both of them missing a single old Koopa whoa dvances toward the sleeping group...*

*As the genesect attacks, its arms go right through me, before the image of me fades away into nothingness*

*A bright beam of energy explodes through the genesect's head from several yards above it, causing the pokemon to fall uselessly to the ground*

*Glaring unwaveringly at Jack, Switch tries to stall for time.*

Switch: Is that an ICBM? Did you say you were going to take over the world or turn it into a smoldering pile of ashes?

*I cringe slightly, hoping Switch doesn't say something to make anyone mad and wishing I could contact the rest of the crew.*

*Beryl looks livid as he continues to struggle in vain.*

*The compy platform lights up and the control room tubes empty completely, the force field crackling and glowing so intensely it becomes almost opaque. A few seconds later, the mixed chemicals rain down from the nozzle on the ceiling, refracting the light and bathing the whole hangar in a misty glow. Within just a few seconds, it all ends, and the light dying away, the air clearing. Another odd form lays spread-eagled on the floor, groaning in confusion. The Aero beside Hurricane stands up, but otherwise makes no other move, waiting patiently...*

*Finally arrives at TT's location, spotting the smears of green and the bodies of genesects, one being completely unrecognizable. Lowers myself beside the green member, the aura wisping about with the smoke rising from the scorched ground*

I see you've had better luck finding the mongrels than I... *twirls the pickaxe about in my grasp* They have resorted to using...bugs?

*The Scout tackles a combat form down a moment after slashing one up and begins stabbing it with both combat knife, while the Soldier starts chopping through the horde with his energy blade. The Pyro dashes right through the flood forms like nothing, sending some flying all over the place before driving his gravity hammer into the ground and launching a bunch of dead bodies all over the place*

Soldier: Hoo-rah!

Pyro: Mph muuuuuuuuphe!

*Jack simply laughs* Oh please. That is no mere missile! In fact, I am mere hours away from launching it; my ultimate superweapon! So glad you could join me. Though, if I didn't loathe wasting resources, I would have had you vaporized.

I'm always looking for live test subjects to perform gruesome experiments on. You vermin fit the bill. *Jack looks over at Switchblade* Not the robot, though. We'll use her as an alternate power source! *Several cables descend from the chamber ceiling, wrapping around the tied-up Robo-Switch and dragging her away, plugging into several access ports, where they begin to siphon off her energy, using the robo-suit's power core as a source of power, keeping it at a constant level, with Switchblade trapped inside*

More of Gira's pathetic little Pokemon. He cares so much about them, yet sends them all to die so easily...

*Chuckles, arms folding, lowering myself to the ground*

They are trying to delay for one reason or another...it probably has to do with that Halo they're all on now.

*Descends to the ground, the aura all but disappearing once I touch down*

*Swings my arm down, embedding one end of the pickaxe into the ground as I toss the bits of gold into the air and then catch them again*

Have they abandoned the cause and left me to do...this...to entertain myself?

*Looks around at the remains of the genesect*

*Tosses the gold bits into the air once more before drawing my blade and swinging it in one fluid motion, streaks of energy flying off of it and striking the gold, melting them instantly*

*More dark clouds begin to gather all across the Site, signaling something big...*

*Meanwhile, deep in the Dark Realm, a realm nearly inaccessable by all, even those of incredible power, a dark ominous cloud peers into the Site, observing the Rise of TT...*

???: Your drones have failed to scrath the User, Genesect... what is your true plan?

*Before the massive black cloud, the true Genesect appears, the bio-insect grinning sadisticly as he also peers upon what is transpiring...*

Genesect: Do not worry, Master Akuro... You wish to be the true evil mastermind of the cosmos, yes? I shall make certain this TT fella doesn't outstage you... and I shall bring him down to his knees!

*The insect vanishes, leaving the gigantic ominous cloud to be once again by itself...*

*From below the surface of the water, numerous lasers fire up at TT, the lasers zap him again and again, blasting into him repeatedly...*

*As the entire group is fast asleep, myself included, the area around us suddenly finds itself in a portal, the portal teleports all of us, unknowingly, to the great unknown...*

Mara: What kind of question is it, Master Persephone?

*The Demon Lord pulls out from behind her two one-piece swimsuits, Mara falls flat on her face.*
