Hell, you could just about literally use any creature that lived before the KT Extinction event. from the dawn of time to the end of the Cretaceous.

Would you be referring to the dinosaur island rpg KP?

To be fair KP the rules on the rpg state "You are allowed to choose any dinosaur or prehistoric reptile" not any animal pre KT,but you probably already knew that and just never got around to changing the rules to say otherwise

9 ) You are allowed to choose any dinosaur or prehistoric reptile (Between start of Earth through end of dinosaurs) that you can think of as long as it is real (we will be checking to make sure the animal is real) and the sizes are right. This does include Sea Creatures that are NOT allowed to go out of the waters around Sorna

Any prehistoric reptile that existed before or around the time the dinosaurs died out are A-ok. If its after the end of the cretaceous then its no bueno. Simple as that

no, Galaxia. I was referring to Isla Sorna Stories with the pre-KT species freedom options.

and in case you didn't know, the extinction event that wiped out the dinosaurs is referred to as the KT Extinction. So yes, End of Dinosaurs = KT Extinction. hence, the rules do state it very clearly, though you've missed it.


for the record, when adjustments are made to an RPG's rules, they are edited IMMEDIATELY. We would not neglect something so pivotal to the purpose of the site.

Hey i was wondering if we could revive the aliens vs predator rpg I wasn't with the site when it was here and i think it would be another excellent addition to the already fun RPGs. What do you think?

Same as any other revival: provide a better reason then "i wasn't here to participate" and maybe we'll consider it.

Though considering how low quality AVP e-war was, and how long it was dormant, I'd say no until convinced otherwise.

What if it was given some plot, or some incentive for people to participate? Or has that kinda thing been tried with dead RPGs?

It would have to been convincing enough and well accepted enough to gain revival. AKA needs a lot of work.

But BVC and I know it's a bit what if but all the same,what if such work could be put into it's revival,would you put the idea into consideration then?
