*The two grunts from earlier follow behind the girls, noticing Mortum and almost run.

One of the elites moves in towards G4E, arming his energy dagger. Before he does a thing, a sword is driven right through his back and he is thrown off the bridge*

I look up at the being, pushing myself up shakily.

"Who's there?.... *cough*"

Mortum sighs and says:

"Don't be afraid, underlings. I am on your side."

[UndeadRaptor]

Grunt 1: Oh right, he he.

???: It's me, man! UR!

*I get shot in the back a few times, but before the elites can do anything else, gun-fire cuts them down. Two ODST teams come out from the darkness, all of the troopers wearing jet-packs for the mission...*

"Thank god you showed up."

I shake my head and look UR in the eyes.

"The flood seemed to have fled while I was fighting, and let those Sangheili b*stards pump me full of plasma. I wasn't able to heal my wounds by the end of it, but i managed to clean up most of them."

Damn... thankfully we got a medic here! Medic!

ODST: Yes sir?

*The ODST medic runs over to us...*

I simply let the medic do his thing....

*The medic begins patching up G4E's wounds as quickly as possible as best as he can, finishing fixing up what he could within a few moments...*

I wince a couple of times, feelnig the medic's devices touch my bloodied and burnt wounds.....

"So.... are we shutting down the rings?"

Uh, actually... *pulls out touch-screen, reads recent posts* ...That gravemind lied to you. He only wanted us to stop the rings to save the flood alone, not anything else...

"So I almost died and wiped out three battalions of elites for NOTHING?!"

I let out an angry roar. I then turn and begi nranting.

"That worthless lying cheat! I should have fried him when I had the chance, but no, I wanted to kill two birds with one stone! GAAAAAH! I should've acted... but now it's too late...."

*The cyborg dragon flies into the air, his powerful wings ensuring that he's the king of speed here. Snarling at the revenants, numerous missles fire from his back, the missles explode agaisnt the undead, sending shrapenal everywhere.*

*Meanwhile, the turrets open fire upon Fatalis, delivering armor-piercing fire at several dozon bullets per second...*

Tiffany: Oh hey there, Mortum! Ummmm... not much really. Bowser was kidnapped by TT, then reduced to a bleached skull. Oh, and there's Coveneant forces attacking here. We're just going to head down and deal with them.

*The three girls enter into the Elevator...*

*Slowly, Shaymin stirs, one eye opens up, then the other. As she awakens, she feels a massive surge of heat bombard her instantly, causing her to leap up in panic.*

Shaymin: WHa-? What's going on? Wait a sec...

*Shaymin looks around, noticing something... odd about where she is...*

*Moments of silence*

*The grunts enter behind the girls, followed by a few more armed to the teeth and the team mentioned earlier following the zealots...*

Mortum nods slowly and enters after the female trio, eying the grunts warily.

"If the covenant is, why are these.... things helping you?"

The revenants keep coming, limbs and missing body parts growing back as they continue floating towards MR....

Fatalis' thick hide is damaged by the shots, but most of them merely cause slight scratches to him, and those that managed to get deeper drew very little blood. With a trio of mighty fireballs, Fatalis destroys one turrets and the heat from the other two fireballs, coupled with explosive power, begin to melt the other turrets within their blast radius.....

"Gladly."

*We're teleported back to the gravemind's lair*

Gravemind: Have you stopped the rings yet?

Actually... we're here for revenge you giant heap of flesh.

Grunt: Dun call us things! D:

Grunt 2: Yeah, we good guys!

I begin charging my atomic breath.

"So do you want to die quickly, or slow an painfully? Choose, or it'll just be instant vaporization for you if you take too lnog..."

Mortum sighs.

*Before the gravemind does another thing, he is suddenly vaporized as the rings activate*

*Back at a random RED base, some birds resting on a rock chirp, before and explosion occurs behind them and two wounded REDs, a Demoman in a wheelchair and a Scout in all sorts of bandages run for their lives*

Scout: Move, cyclops! Move! Come on, come on! Almost-

*An explosion occurs behind the two from a BLU Soldier's rocket, launching the Scout. Before he can recover, three rockets sail towards him*

Scout: Uhhh, aww! Woah! Whothefu-

*The rockets propell the Scout at the base, flailing his arms and legs through the air

Scout: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh-

*SPLAT... into window*

Scout: *Sliding off slowly* Medic...

*The turrets keep up their firepower, those that are wrecked lower down, only to be replaced by new ones...*

Tiffany: Supposedly, the Grunts were only working for the Coveneant because they were forced to. THey've apparently had enough of them..

*The elevator begins to head off to twhere the Elites are...*

*In the cavern the Elites are in, a thunderous roar echoes across the chamber,something massive approaching...*

???: Why hello there... Shaymin.

*Shaymin whirls around, before stumbling back in shock as the RUler of Hell herself approaches her, a slight smirk on her face.*

Shaymin: W-w-who are yo-

*It's only now that SHaymin realizes that there's something wrong with her voice, it sounding a ad bit too...gruff. The girl looks at her hands, her arms, her clothing... noticing it's all diffrent than what she was wearing... or who she was before. She tries to grab at her hair, only to see that it's not only short, but golden as well. Persephone, now chuckling beneath her breath, holds out a mirror for her. Shinobu grabs it, looks into it.. before screaming.*

Shaymin: THAT'S NOT MY FACE!!! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU AND WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?!?!

*The grunts simply nod in agreement. The zealots don't decloak and look around, wondering where the noise can from as they continue onwards.

A RED Heavy followed by a Medic march out of the base, and after the Demoman gets blown out of the wheelchair, is healed and continues on with fighting. The bagless Scout is healed up next, who leaps into the air and catches his bat*

Scout: Yeah! *Dashes towards Soldier* Woohoohoo! *Smacks hiding Soldier in the jaw* Oh yeah!

*The medic uber-charges the Heavy and they bring down the army of BLU soldiers attacking the base in mere seconds afterwards...*
