In time, Firestreak reappeared near the camp entrance, panting heavily from his run to and from the camp, wanting to get back as soon as possible...

Shadowstar got to her paws, a deeply thoughtful look on her face. How best to attack...she'd need to know how many rogues there were, and if there were any WindClan cats in their camp that really did support Tailwind.

TroutPelt Crouched down and watched a water vole nibbling on something at the river's edge and slowly crept slowly forward and waited until the vole started to look for a seed or worm and waggled his haunches, instantly regretting it as the vole scrambled for its burrow "it's now or never" he growled and sprang just managing to hook his claws into the brown animal right before it disappeared into its hole and flung it in the air, catching it in his jaws with a rather pleased look on his face.

Turning the brown cat went further down the bank and started to dig into the ground and unearthed a fat mouse and the fish he was named after, a trout and began on his way back to camp

Firestreak made his way over to the Thunderclan leader, a weak smile on his face. "I couldn't find anything regarding Cyclostar's location, but I did find that Windclan is ready and willing to oust Tailwind as soon as they get the chance." the loner growled with a confident nod. "Your son informs me with the right motivation, the rest of the cats in the clan will help take it back." he continued as Swiftstrike approached the two, the Windclan deputy's expression lightening somewhat at the mention of Talonstrike, happy his kin were safe...

"Excellent job, Firestreak," Shadowstar meowed, getting to her paws with a smile. "Now all we need is to plan this out. And of course, find Cyclostar." She looked at Swiftstrike. "Unfortunately, the moor offers little cover for an ambush, and if we tried to head straight to the camp we'd be spotted in an instant. Do you know a way to circle around without being seen?"

"They all look so hapless, don't they Tiberium?" Ferallion mewed as his emerald eyes befell the Windclan cats taking refuge in the rocky ravine. "Like wayward turtles that lost their shell. A pity" He went onto say, chuckling at the irony. Windclan cats were revered for their speed, after all. "The 'turtles' are getting ready to reclaim their shells by the looks of things" The white tom growled, keenly observing the happenings around the clan. As well as keeping himself informed about the situation with the stricken clan, he was paying attention to how clan cats interacted with each other; an integral part of living in a group was being able to function amongst one's peers.

"There are patches of tall grass near the camp that we haven't bothered to mash down. Should be enough to conceal quite a few cats at once, so long as they don't move around too much." Swiftstrike responded, his expression neutral, while Firestreak nodded in confirmation, the grass in question being what he used to get close on his trip. Although the grass was close, it wouldn't be enough to get them inside completely undetected...

Shadowstar nodded and turned to continue pacing. "Can you guess how many rogues there were with Tailwind?" she asked Swiftstrike, green eyes flicking over her strongest fighters. With WindClan at their side, the rogues would probably be outnumbered, but she wanted to bring enough cats to back her up if the fight turned nasty - which it certainly could.

"I counted ten when I was run out of the camp. Could be a few more." Swiftstrike growled, recalling the event. Always the tactical one, even as the camp was thrown into chaos, Swiftstrike already took note of various things to help in the inevitable counter attack...

Shadowstar nodded. "Right. Listen up you lot," she called to her cats. "I want those of you who can be stealthy and fast in a fight to meet me by my den."

Swanfeather's ears pricked with interest. It sounded like Shadowstar intended to take the battle straight to WindClan as soon as possible. Though she herself would be spotted in an instant with her white fur, it didn't stop her from wishing she would be going. Noticing that Falconflight made no move to get up, she cocked her head and asked, "Aren't you going with them?" He shook his head. "I will be needed here if Shadowstar leads this attack."

"Can all of your cats here still fight?" the ThunderClan leader asked Swiftstrike. "Or are there wounds which need to be treated first?"

"A few are still a bit scratched up from their flight out of the camp, but I think most are fit to fight." Swiftstrike growled with a nod. Before they would leave, he would ask his clanmates who was capable to fight to reclaim their home. He would hold nothing against those who were too injured to fight, but he knew such cats would be the minority...

Tiberium's ears flicked at Shadowstar's voice, glancing back over to her. "Sounds like your calling" He mewed to Ferallion without looking back at him. "The cat who hunts those with refined senses needs to step lightly, quickly, being unheard and unseen." The gray cat replied with a growl, rolling onto his side soon after. "Though my skills are demonstrated on my meals. Not other cats" He added. "You may be of use to them, brother. Keen eyes and ears like yours should be put to good use" Tiberium mewed. "We shall see" Ferallion growled, his tail end curling up and unfurling as he mulled the idea over. It would be a good chance to show his worth to the clan...

"I will do it" Ferallion mewed, getting back onto his paws. "But what will you do while I'm gone Tiberium?" He asked with a tilt of his head. "Don't worry about that. I'll be sure to join you...after I find some mud to roll around in" The white tom replied jokingly with a smile. "You? Roll around in the mud? You'd disappear for a quarter moon or more trying to clean yourself off" Ferallion snorted as he started off towards the clan leader. Tiberium chuckled as his brother departed, falling silent in thought just seconds after. What was he going to do while his brother was away?

Shadowstar nodded. "Our medicine cat can take care of any wounded," she mewed, eying the growing group of cats by the Highrock, trying tonjudgebwhen there would be enough or too many cats wanting to fight this battle. While she wouldve wanted her sister beside her in this fight, she was glad Swanfeather didn't try to demand to be allowed to go. Stealth was what they needed. Swanfeather would be spotted coming a mile away.

Swiftstrike nodded and made his way over to his clanmates, explaining quietly of their plan to take back the camp. Most of the Windclan cats seemed eager to oust the rouges that took their home, but some were visibly concerned or distracted, and would probably stay behind due to injury or lack of hope...

Shadowstar got to her paws. She fully intended to help lead this attack, and had to rally her Clanmates and the WindClan cats. She didn't move from where she stood, instead calling out, "My friends and Clanmates! Today Tailwind and his rogue allies sent us a message. A message that they think they can take what they want and expect us not to fight back." she paused and looked at the WindClan warriors. "But we will not just lie down and take this like kittypets! We are warriors, and we will show these rogues just what that means. We fight with honor and courage. We fight for what is right. We'll send these cats running back to their dens with their tails between their legs and a few scars to remember us by!" she was yowling by the time she finished speaking, heartened by her own words. She could hear cries of support coming from her Clan, and stopped to survey them with pride.

Ferallion sat near the back of the vocal crowd, quiet and looking at the cats around him, one emerald eye somewhat wider than the other. They were going off to face a threat they hadn't even seen, yet their hearts were alight with determination and pride was in their voices. It was an interesting experience for the gray tom, watching a single cat unite the spirits of many.

Interesting indeed, even for Tiberium who continued to watch from his distant spot, though he had lowered his body to the ground and his ears were pressed back against his head. The bond the cats clearly had with each other made him feel even more out of place. He could not join their rallying exclamations or find a connection with the various members who seemed perfectly enveloped in the occasion, as if every clan cat was an ember creating a large flame, and he was just a rock by the fire, there but unable to contribute...

Firestreak looked on from nearby, smiling faintly. He couldn't help but admire the Thunderclan leader's effect on her clan, but also couldn't help feel a twinge of pain, missing his clan deeply. The Windclan cats looked on silently, their eyes burning with a desire for vengeance...

"We leave as soon as you and your Clanmates are ready, Swiftstrike," Shadowstar meowed. Catching sight of both Firestreak and Ferallion, she beconed them closer. She wanted to ask Firestreak if he intended to fight - and Ferallion looked like there was something on his mind.

The gray tom's gaze flicked over to the leader after he glimpsed her gesture from the corner of his eyes. Was she calling to him? An ear swiveled about as he thought about, wondering why she would want to speak to him. Had he broken some clan rule? Did she not want him to go help the other warriors? He began to walk to Shadowstar, tail held level with his back and meandering slowly from side to side as he approached. He found it funny how she managed to pick him out of the group of cats, their pelts shades of gray and black. Usually he would go unnoticed and blend into his surroundings, coming and going without anyone realizing he was there unless they were paying the utmost attention. His silence and reclusive tendencies only added to that. "Eyes the color of a newleaf blade of grass and as keen as an owl's. Interesting..." He thought, his face never betraying it.

Firestreak approached swiftly, his eyes glowing with the same anticipation seen in the Windclan warriors' eyes. Swiftstrike made a slight nod to the Thunderclan leader, before turning back to his clan...
